i am having fun modding other peoples' mods, and here's a deck that's everything that isn't in either your Prime or Fibonacci decks as a fun thing that doesn't inherantly work with any jokers, except maybe face card ones since you're more likely to hit faces
@grand birch you should probably take a look, I ran it with 2 modded jokers so that might be something but still very visually buggy

What happened exactly?
Im not at my pc but the score area (chips x mult) just kept expanding after every re trigger
I don't modify the score area at all, so I don't think it'd be from my mod
What other Jokers/mods were you using it with?
I mean im using the same modded jokers as before but the problem only happens when I go above 1 dagonet
I'm using jelly and Cryptid for the jokers that work in that test
I have other mods but no jokers from them

but then again, running almost a hundred mods can break stuff, so i don't blame their mod lol

- Sniper Joker now gains mult as long as you are within 5% of the chip requirement.
- Blackjack Joker now gives some mult if you're close to 21, but none if you're over 21. (-0.5x Mult per 1 rank off of 21)
Bug Fixes
- Harp Seal now retriggers Red Seals that are left in hand (if they have an active effect)
- Smeared Joker now works correctly with Suit Alley.
- Fixed negative values whenever Dagonet was sold
- Dagonet now has an internal blacklist to prevent it from breaking with specific jokers. The full list is: Credit Card, Juggler, Turtle Bean, Drunkard, Troubadour and Merry Andy. These Jokers don't work with Dagonet because their values are only set once, when they are added to the deck, so there is no good way to modify these values with Dagonet as well.
Other
- Added animation to Commander on first hand of round.
- Added stretching to Historical Joker and Incomplete Joker when flipped.
- Centered Incomplete Joker.

it's the mod that visualizes what score a hand will get before you play it, and i think i know why it happens
it sort of counts as a hand being played when you select the cards in your hand
so if you select 5, it thinks you played a hand with 5 cards

I noticed that you asked JellyMod as well, and our mods are unfortunately incompatible. But if you find a workaround or want to do it anyway, then feel free to do whatever :)
I think I'll keep going as long as there's cool ideas, but I'm also gonna be adding vouchers and tarot cards once the new steamodded api releases.

I just updated to steamodded 9.1 so it's possible that's related but i checked the end_calculate_context function (joker.lua) and it says not context.buying_card so I can't understand why this is happening

It's a bug with divvy's score preview. Their mod is improving compatibility with modded jokers though so it should work in a future update.

im not quite sure why, but it breaks pretty much every modded (and maybe vanilla?) joker in the game

Config is a custom table that is defined all the way at the top of the mod file. It's used to disable specific Jokers or decks

The downside is that you have to define a function for every joker, but I think it's still better than the old way

@grand birch while the visual glitch ive been talking about has been fixed, seems like the glitch with selling dagonet with multi variable jokers in hand still hasnt been fixed, even selling one dagonet can make the values go crazy

Bugfixes
- Changed blueprint compatibility for a lot of Jokers, meaning they should now work as intended with blueprint.
- The full list of Jokers that got changed with regards to blueprint is: Cultist, Lucky Number Seven, Delayed Jokers, Showoff, Sniper, Blackjack, Batman, Grudgeful, Historical, Shy joker, Abbey Road, Rigged, What Are The Odds, Stockpiler, Checklist and One Of Us.
- Fixed Incomplete Joker stretching on reload.
Balance changes
- Showoff Joker now gains X0.25 Mult instead of X1 Mult.
- Jokers For Hire deck now has a linear cost increase, instead of an exponential one. Example: 2nd joker will cost 2x the base price, 3rd joker will cost 3x the base price, etc.
- Riff-raff now costs $1.000.000.000, sorry everyone 😎 👎
Other
- Changed Jokers (where applicable) to use in game functions to pick random editions, to be more in line with the base game, this means the odds will be the same as the base game as well instead of being evenly spread.
- Now uses the updated joker API for setting the local variables used in localization. This means Steamodded V0.8.2 is required.
- Did a lot of reorganizing of the codebase, to make things more modular

Uhm are all those joker and sprite:register() lines here because you add them individually depending on the config?
No the old method worked fine as well, but I decided to change it up to have (almost) all the code for 1 joker in one place.
It makes it easier to change Jokers as well as creating new ones, because you won't have to scroll through the entire file to get to the right spot, which gets pretty obnoxious once u reach a few thousand lines of code.

With the current implementation no, because all the Jokers are defined individually
But I prefer it this way because when I'm creating new Jokers that don't have a sprite yet I can simply not initialize the sprite and have it default to something

It might not be a huge issue but they consistently won games when I got them especially on Plasma
The Grudgeful Joker alone allowed me to get exponential scaling on Plasma and infinite score hands every time
Maybe make it ten percent of the previous blind? or make it only five percent?
Either one would still be strong but hopefully not that game breaking
Technically if you can get grudgeful online and a bus you should in theory be set for a good long time
Throw a Cavendish or Blackboard and you can consistently hit ante 39

0.9.3 was pretty much just to fix issues with lag, it has no API changes

The mod is now out on both nexus and Thunderstore. The Readme is a little messed up but I can't fix it without creating a new version so that'll be fixed in the next update! Let me know if there are any issues with downloading. I also made a logo for the mod :)

New Jokers
- Pack A Punch: Give the left-most Joker a random Edition when a blind is selected, at the cost of $20. This will replace the current Edition. It also self destructs if it replaces a negative Edition and there are too many Jokers.
- Seal Stealer: Trigger Purple and Blue seals when they are scored. This works with Harp Seal as well as Planetary Alignment.
- Tax Collector: Gives $1, $2, $3 or $4 per Joker at the end of the round, based on their rarity.
- Glass Cannon: Retrigger all glass cards, but they are guaranteed to break.
- Scoring Test: If played hand scores less than 1% of blind chip requirement, destroy it.
- Cicero: All Jokers that do not give Mult, Chips or retriggers will be negative in the shop.
New Tarots
- The Idiot: Multiply your money by -1.
- Fortune: Has a 3/4 chance to double your money with no cap, otherwise set your money to $0.
New Spectrals
- Bribe: Turn a random Joker Negative but lose $50, ignoring the spending limit.
Resprites
- New sprite for Planetary Alignment (now Aurora Borealis),The Cultist, What Are The Odds (now Blue Moon), and The Gambler (now Horseshoe). All done by

Other
- Harp Seal now works with Planetary Alignment.
- Added a Mod Badge, so Steamodded V0.9.5 or above is required.
- Made legendary sprites work properly.

Yeah, with that description I would assume eye chart counts itself here. I think that's one of my fav joker from the pack, it's a silly idea but it incentivizes picking unusual jokers just because they have the right letters

That's not supposed to happen, theres the word 'mult' in 'multiple' which is why it gets wrongly flagged. It'll be fixed in the next update!

It makes my mod slightly more compatible with JellyMod (at least in older versions, i'm not sure if it's still the case). Otherwise I'd recommend playing with either only JellyMod or everything except JellyMod

yeah jellymod and the old (non beta) versions of divvys score preview are pretty incompatible with this mod
i use all three of them together and the game still works, but i’ll run into a crash every so often

bell curve looks so hilariously wonky with the transparency there
it's on a deck where every shop is replaced by packs though, so it's pretty easy to get spectrals and do silly things with bribe
codex makes it harder I think, because you get even less jokers each round

The Sniper seems to be bugged, can't seem to get it to activate - tried with mod by itself but I might be doing something wrong
The issue persists when running this mod alone. I also ran a small mod that allowed me to start with this joker but this shouldnt have any effect on it. The vanilla to-do-list changed when testing but checklist always started and remained on highcard. Steammodded v0.97
is dagonet incompatible with jokers from other mods

It depends on the internal variables that the mod uses, if they use the same variables as the base game then they will get doubled
