the good part is these jokers being more useful than their +mult counterparts, because there are better options for +mult, while good chips options are limited

50 chips can be pretty significant, especially when you don't have high hand levels or secret hands

i note 2 things:

  1. 4oak chips joker is missing/doesn't exist
  2. there wasn't a pair joker in previous demo (but it existed in first demo/playtest apparently?)

if I'm playing a hand that's been leveled up a few times, these jokers become much weaker. Like early on, Crafty is functionally about an x2 to a flush, but once I've gotten a few Jupiters, Crafty is only functionally about an x1.5, and if I also have some Heirophant cards, the relative bonus for Crafter becomes even smaller.

Sly is weak enough that I only take it if I get it for free and I'm playing a pants/full house kind of build.

I think none of these are as cool as runner (with the caveat that runner starts off weaker). I appreciate chip jokers that scale with number of hands played and hope there are at least some like that in the full version.

The more i play the demo the more i appreciate them. They’re genuinely some of the best jokers to see along with banner / bull

i feel like the chip jokers are not that strong early game due to having little mult early. While late game there are often better options

for straight/flush builds they are pretty great though
