Only the first vampire scales. In general, adding +X0.1 makes more of a difference with small XMult values than big ones, so if there are three at X2.5, X2.8, and X2.9, scale the X2.5 one first.

For Gold Stake runs, I've run into the Obelisk + Spare Trousers combination several times — in this case you spam Two Pair until Ante 5 (and Spare Trousers is at +64 or something), and then switch to spamming High Card and Pair for the rest of the run. (Make sure to not use Uranus as main chip source in this case)

Also, there is a way to push Obelisk further even when all hands have been played the same amount and that's using "Not Allowed!" hands which still add to Obelisk but doesn't cause a reset (this is used in biggest Obelisk world records)
