Super fun seed. I did the abandoned deck. Skip the first blind for a spectral pack with wraith that gives blueprint, play next blind, buy spectral pack with wraith again (gives dna). Profit off of 5 of a kind aces. (Later on you can take another wraith for the stencil.)

good, because i just found a seed where, skip the first small blind for oujia board aces, shop directly after that is a polycrhome fibonacci, and then after that shop is zany joker. you have to try to lose to actually fail with this seed.

NQG7E1ZW IS AMAZING. (if you play your cards right) you can get 12 aces and 9 10’s you can also get the A+ joker which will give you 20 chips and four multiplier for each ace. It is absolutely OP you need to grab each spectral pack for the Ouija (definitely not spelt that way, but I don’t know off the top of my head) things and after you play your first five of a kind the planet packs for planet X, which will boost the five of a kind. Everybody needs to try this cause it’s also very very fun.

If played correctly, you can definitely get better than 26,000 chips for the best hand but that’s just what I was doing playing completely casually

6C7WSST9 is on the seed list as having both DNA and Blueprint in the first shop. Unfortunately, you can't afford both without Yellow Deck.

Notably, the second shop has 8 Ball. The Tarot it makes is Strength, allowing you to make your 7s into 8s. Followed by the Fool for another Strength card. With Abandoned Deck instead of Yellow, eight 8s (just as good as Ouija) with Blueprint 8 Ball after the first boss is possible.

Would be nice to have a place (possibly the same google doc) for a "deep dive" on some seeds.

General instructions:
Unless otherwise specified, always Discard the maximum number of cards, selecting from Right to Left.
Play poker hands also from Right to Left. (So three 10s and three 9s becomes a Full House, 9s over 10s, meaning 10 10 9 9 9)
Don't add extra cards to poker hands unless specified. (For example, only four 8s, no non-scoring fifth card)

SS for Small Blind, BB for Big Blind, and then the Name for the Boss. "7s over 10s" is a full house. "10s and 8s" is two pair. "10s and 8s w/ 2" means, throw away an extra 2 with the two pair.

For seed 6C7WSST9 with Abandoned Deck:

SS1: Hold 7s and 10s for "7s over 10s." Buy Blueprint.
SS2: Hold 8s for "four 8s." Buy 8 Ball.
Head: Discard once. Play "10s and 8s, w/ 2." Use Strength on 7s. Use Fool for Strength. Play "8s and 5s w/ 2." Discard twice, holding 8 and 7. Sell Hermit. Play "3s over 8s." Use Strength on 7s. Play "9s over 8s."

Result: Blueprint + 8 Ball. Eight 8s after first boss.

Face down boss it the hardest. With a few tries, you can learn the identity of the face down cards.

Other notes: Hold egg for Temperance until it gets dire, there's a Temperance that gives you 30$.
Use every wheel of fortune to see to get Polychrome, guaranteed rightmost joker.
There is a Blueprint very late in the run. Make sure your Polychrome is not on the Four Fingers because Blueprint will be "incompatible."

I lost to the final boss by 3k points because of this.
But it is winnable.

It'd be pretty annoying if a powerful deck was locked behind a hyper specific achievement. It's nice that you can just unlock things eventually by playing the game normally and don't have to warp your gameplay around hyper-focusing on a specific achievement.

Achievements are fun on their own already, but not everyone is an achievement hunter. That sends the message that not everyone is allowed to play the full game.

Could be fun if the bar was set real low.
For example. to "unlock this deck, win a run in which your highest scoring hand was high card." And then the deck you unlock is well-suited to high card build.

The hardest unlock for the playtest was buying a polychrome version of your most used joker from the shop and honestly thats too far for me
