Thinking about having Lopmon on the Jack of clubs as well if I can fit it, since Terriermon barely takes up half the card rn. Gotta also add a mace for him to hold, I suppose. It's hard to tell, the wording is ambiguous. If it is a permanent increase, it is actually quite good, a sort of side grade to gift card though very strong. If it's temporary, it is extremely weak except for a few narrow niches.

Sandpaper was bad because it is in all practicality a better steel joker and centurion is bad because it is

1. a time based mechanic
2. X5 mult for no reason on top of a good effect
3. That good effect is just blueprint

The effects break a lot of the rules that keep the game intact. Sandpaper is alright, but Centurion has a lot of problems. There are very intentionally no timing-based mechanics in the game, (aside from some glitches if you want to be pedantic). X5 unconditional mult is also strictly better than every rare hand type joker. Also it's doing way too much for a single joker. And yes, it's way too powerful aside from its janky condition. This joker forces you to play an extremely weird and unfun way to get the most out of it, balatro isn't a game about speed.
