Nice, the ones I’ve come up with were Landlords (that Monopoly concept), a backgammon roguelike (no good name for it but you modify pieces and die), and an accounting roguelike (Office Insanity, your goal is to balance a budget using Excel. Roguelike in the sense that you can modify cells in the workbook and no run is the same)

I actually got that last one sorta playable, albeit in a spreadsheet

Mine works around # of moves to clear the board with modifiers changing how many die can be rolled and how pieces interact (for example “ghost” pieces take up no space but count towards column totals)

It’s simple but not the most fun concept

I think backgammon could work but you’d need to go a step further by either altering properties of the board or changing certain rules inherent to the game
