Yeah I understood that the most part, the flushes are the easiest to make, and what I mostly do in every run. However if I have a set up where I can get straight flushes or royal flushes, I would do that instead. Whenever I get 5 of a kind in my deck, or flush five, I’d try to aim for those

so i was in a run at ante 24 and did the bean bug to get my hand size to 24.. then at ante 25 i had petroglyph so i bought it and went back an ante back to 24 and attempted to repeat the bean bug but it wouldnt work? when the bean wasnt disabled my hand size did show as 30 (which is just my base hand size of 25 + the turtle bean) but every time the card was disabled, my hand size would go back to 25.. and when i hit main menu and went back into my run it would stay at 25 until the bean was no longer disabled and then it went back to 30.. does anyone know why this happened?

my bean hit 3 times in my petroglyphed ante 24, so technically my hand size shouldve increased from base of 25 -> 40

i dont have a screen recording of what happened so some other notes: i also had burglar + 3 blueprints which gave me like 15 hands to work with, i got rid of mime halfway through my hands because i think i was about to score too high, i did play a pair instead of a high card on 1 or 2 hands, i DNA'd + 3 blueprinted the very first hand to get my hand count up.. are any of these what cost me my run?
