on a serious note, its explained in #📈earn-xp if you didnt see it yet. You earn xp by partipating in the server, and xp ranks you up. certain ranks have roles tied to them with diofferent perms and perks. Spamming does not increase your xp and will get you timed out/banned/xp reset for doing it

From the same link, both headsets appear to have 24bit audio capability. However the host device (in this case the PS5) will determine the limit.

A50 features the same 40mm PRO G Graphene drivers, 24 bit capable wireless audio, 48kHz full band microphone, and simultaneous Bluetooth audio as our renowned A50 X.

NOTE: A50 24 bit and 48kHz sampling capabilities are dependent on the host device; on some systems, the A50 USB audio sample rates will be limited by the host.

I did try to find Sony's specifications, but they don't appear to know the capabilities of their own hardware... But maybe my mobile searching is failing:

That's understandable! Just as a heads up, the Gen5 doesn't use the BlueVoice software, which I'm a fan of.. But has been mentioned as being surprisingly good.

If you like the more simplified software for A50 and/or use your own audio processing I think you'll be in good shape for non-industrial priced headphones. I like the simplicity and easy switching/setup.

I believe the X version is more about monitor/video control, which isn't something I even botber with.

Hope you get a great setup soon either way!

I would make sure you have the latest firmware and updates from G Hub.
Otherwise what polling rate (or reporting rate) do you have? If you have it set to 8,000 you are very likely to experience battery life issues with such a high polling rate.

Do you have any readings under the G Hub Power Consumption settings?
Such as:

System: 5mW
Report Rate: 6mW

The report rate does seem a bit high for 1000 Hz.. but nothing that wouldn't be around several days of usage at 12 milliwatts in total.

If the mouse appears to be dying in a single day I would try to reach out to support and/or check on a return or warranty replacement option. Everything seems pretty normal from a power consumption standpoint so perhaps the battery isn't up to standards. Soz. =[

Guys I have to say. I am shocked at how bad the return process is for items that were preordered ahead of time. Ordered the new RS pedals in September, received mid-October and they don’t work for me. Returning them is a nightmare because I ordered them last month, even though I didn’t receive them until October 13th. Really disappointed by this, and I promote the heck out of Logitech.

You may have to check on your EQ settings and signal clean-up options. Are you using Blue-Voice at all?

If some of those are a bit too extreme you'll end up struggling to get a clear sound.

Overall you can usually use some of the default "Curated Presets" or search the community for some common voice-types or scenarios.

In particular pay attention to things like noise-reduction and high-pass filters that are common reasons people are hard to hear regardless of gain. If you're volume isn't passing those gates it won't matter as much how much gain you add to it.

Hopefully you can check on those and get a good setup!

Sporadic movement can often be related to things being too close to the sensor.
You can often see this behavior if you push your finger into the sensor compartment it may cause the cursor to jump around sporadically.

  • Do you have a very soft mousepad? or are you using it on clothing/bedding?
  • Check to make sure there isn't some dust or dirt in the recess.
  • Does it have the same behavior on a flat/hard surface?

If the movement is not sporadic and instead the left and right are only quick, but not the up and down you may have had some settings change.
If its only within specific games you'll have to check those game settings.
Otherwise if its during normal computer operation one of the first places to check will be G Hub.
Ensure you have the same X and Y DPI settings such as:

Well, with Logitech you get clutch, brake and gas pedals. A wheel ofc and then you buy a shifter. Its like 300 euro. But with Moza its 400 euro and with a wheel and gas, brake pedal BUT without clutch and it is 40 euro. Making up to 440 then the shifter its 150 euro more. You know what i mean with the price?

would not recommend a thrustmaster DD since reviews Ive seen make them out to be underbaked, and unfinished compared to the competition. Moza R3 is really the only choice in an entry level setup these days unmles you get a crazy deal on a G920/G923 but even the R3 comes with probably the worst pedals in simracing

Mouse seems pretty good, but tons of upgrades available if you wanted to stick with Logitech.

Otherwise the G522 headset has been getting a lot of praise to the best of my knowledge with a crazy good mic for the cost. Only downside I believe is that it is not the most adjustable headset.. so depending on headsize and/or hairstyle this could be problematic. Otherwise the sound, microphone, and processing options are great cost-to-value out there.

A50 (Gen 5) are pretty crazy amazing! It's what I use regularly.

They allow you to connect to phone and PC at the same time so you don't have to swap. Being able to take calls and listen to music is great. Or listen to music on a phone or second PC while working and communicating on another *(since some work laptops are locked down) *:P

Either way, the A50 is definitely a recommend if you have the budget.

The only downside I've had with the A50 (Gen 5) headset is that the base-station (which is honestly why I got it) cannot move. This is great for charging, but if I go walk around the house the Bluetooth will break up since the phone isn't connecting to the headset, but rather the base-station so its just not as mobile. Outside of that, top-notch system.

I recommend just a microfiber cloth with very light wetness to get any sweat and skin residue from regular use. You usually don't need anything heavy if you aren't getting food particles on it.

If you are a mechanic or do some other dirty work maybe add some the tiniest drop of laundry detergent as its usually gentler than hand soap or dish soap. The goal is to break up oil/grease at that point.. but again very light usage so you don't roughen the surface. This has been my experience at least. No issues with electronics and has worked for the little bit of white gear I've had (like Playstation controllers).

I can just use the old logitech gaming software to rebind on my old wired one and old wireless, my new wireless one doesnt allow rebinds without an account though. I think the newely manufactured ones require ghub to rebind.

my rig holds up to the full 8nm of torque from the RS50 very well, and it cost me less than 100$ usd.
keep in mind with metal rigs you order online is you will STILL have to assemble them yourself which can be a headache too if the instructions arent clear.

The Astros A50 (Gen 5) have earpads that will cancel some noise, but by default only come with cloth, I think, padding that will help a little compared to earbuds or over-ear headphones, but will not be as good as some leather or ear-covering pads that reduce air flow. This does make them cooler and allow you to hear your environment a bit more, but is fairly middle of the road compared to all options. Many other quality esr-covering headphones have special software to utilize ANC that will do a much better job if you wanted to cut out background noise however. This capability is not part of the A50s though, I believe.

Due to the over the ear pads lighter noises like PC fans, AC units, light machinary outside, conversations in other rooms, etc... Won't get through.

You could still likely hear a conversation from someone in the same room just fine. Heavy construction is still likely to be a problem without the ANC as well for instance.

Hope that helps, since hearing capability will be a bit objective.

I work in auto body so I'm very familiar with 1/4 20 bolts lol. Pretty much every machine thread 10mm bolt on a car is 1/4 20 threads.

They do make adapters (the elgato boom came with one) but most mic booms have your size for the mount. There's a bunch of arms for like $20 on amazon as well. I love the elgato because it has a hidden channel for wire management and is easy to adjust and secure. But it's not the cheapest solution.

I am not certain if the same "Mute output" twice will then unmute it... But I lock my computer with that same macro in order to both keep any others away and at the same time prevent anyone from being disturbed by my unecessary alarms.

Can someone help me with my g pro wheel?
The customer service here in Europe or Germany is poor. My wheel was only 1 month old when problem started and when I openend a ticket.
They send me like a tutorial with update the wheel took off all cables and put them again on the wheel. But nothing helped. I send them a video of the problem, I send them the product number. And after watching the clip he told me that he will send the problem on 28.10.25 to some other team. So I will get a message within 72 hours for getting a new product. After that no one texted me and no one answered me on my mails. So I called the Logitech support some days later again. Because it’s longer now not useable then i used it. And in my opinion it’s not normal that a wheel after 1 month not work and behave as it not should.for this price. After getting finally one of them, the women told me she can see the ticket and now she will care for me. I should wait 1 day. And now all the tutorials start again like the first person asked me. I should change maybe game inputs and so stuff or update the wheel…. I’m so angry and sad at the same time. And don’t know how i should help myself. Because i have nowhere else the option to call someone or write an e-mail beside this poor service.

I hope maybe you can help me here so I can send my ticket number. I use really all my products from Logitech. I had before the G pro the g29 for many years and I was always happy but that’s not fair to treat long time customers like this.

My super light dex 2 connects to my pc but when it goes to sleep or my pc goes to sleep, it disconnects. I have to unplug the dongle then connect my mouse then reconnect the dongle for it to be recognized again. Anyone know how to fix it? I tried other usb ports but it’s the same thing
