it applies to any currency that is also used as an ingredient for food. so that’s why something like the bonbons would still disappear, despite looking like food. they’re only used as currency, whereas bubbles, jam, and sprinkles are used in cooking.

Sunblink's goal is that you should be able to get everything if you play 70% of eligible days. But if you miss three days in a row, you would miss out on some of the ones you can run through, and it would be harder to get everything.

You can trade furniture with other people or get it from Keroppi / Fish Derby later. The clothing plans are important, because once you have those you can make your own clothing so don't need to buy it from the stand.

Then, you get 1 from each daily quest.

there is one chest containing 10 mythic stones in seaside resort daily, then you can get another 4 (or 5 with dlc?) from daily tasks :3 so i think you can get 14-15 daily

so for this event there can be up to 3 chests if you don't collect two days. you do lose the currency from any daily quests you don't do though

this is true for any materials around the island as well. they will stack up to 3 days worth of materials (except for the fizzy crystals)

Primary Events typically has 3, Secondary typically has two, and Tertiary usually has one.

Tertiary are those that don't get it's own event stand and items are bought at a Primary Event stand (as of last year). All the events for this type are Fashion Frenzies, Floral, Fall, Frosty. (Possibly a future Beach or Summer one.)

Hi everyone! Hope it’s ok to ask this here, I’ve been playing this game for about a week now, my question is how often are there events in-game? Are log-in rewards the norm? 🫶

There is almost always one happening! There are primary events and secondary events. There are log-in rewards and event stands for each event (besides the flash ones like the fashion frenzy events but those items are in one of the other events stand), plus you can purchase previous years items at the stands if you would like. If you miss a day, the login reward always picks up where you left off, and the events run a few days over the login rewards to allow for those that miss days to have a little more time to get those. However, it is possible for the event to end without collecting everything on the daily log, ex: there is 2 days left in the event but you have 5 things left on the log, then you would miss those last 3 things.

You can look at the past dates for events on there to get an idea for how they flow, the dates do change some but are around the same time of year.

You might wish to have a few patterned flowers in those plots (especially out of season event flowers if you have them) so there could be a chance of coloured eggworts popping up the first day. It’s rare, but it could happen. There’s a very rare chance that an empty patch could emerge full of eggworts one day, but that’s even more unlikely. I haven’t had better luck with empty ones than with mostly empty ones.

If you want a spreadsheet you that you can check off, Cookie's checklists (https://discord.com/channels/1105575633943277629/1319409881052217476) track both found and crafted, and ktroma's tracks the crafting plans (in the collection).

If you're trying to find the ones you've missed, I recommend going to the crafting bench. Unfortunately you can't filter them there, but that's the only way I'm aware of to see all the plans you have available sorted in numerical order. All the ones you've photographed have giften you their matching crafting plans.

You'll likely have two groups of them: ones you already have the ingredients to craft (coloured) and ones you're missing ingredients for (greyed-out).

So it's Cogymyun's birthday event at reset. This is my first birthday event, what should I expect?

The master of events Nul should tell you it’s her birthday and what to pick up to get her decorating kits.

With the kits you can make birthday cake at Hello Kitty’s oven, balloons at the crafting table, and sometimes another thing.

There may be a little birthday quest for her too.

The kits will be available for about a week, so don’t worry if you don’t get a lot tomorrow.

Make sure to start the birthday quest before the kits go away if there is one. You can finish it later, but if it’s not started, you’ll be waiting a year.

I haven't progressed far in the DLC yet, I'm only lvl 15 friendship with Cogy. I can't make Ultimate wands yet. Or the potions she like for 2 heart gifts. Will that mean I might miss out on some of this years birthday stuff?

When the visitors have a birthday, we don’t get any of that. But they do visit your island that day, which can be useful for getting them a ⭐️

Doubtful. The kits will be in gemmies and maybe jewels or sand heart things (I forget their name) likely.

It’s her first birthday in the game, since we only got her in October. So everyone is excited about her birthday, even Day 1 players.

Content updates are that frequent in this game?

The game came out on Apple Arcade in July 2023. Apple has had updates every six weeks or so since then. City Town (a very rudimentary version) appeared after a while. Steam and Switch got the game in January 2025. Wheatflour Wonderland DLC came out October 2025 and recently a much evolved City Town DLC.

Your Switch content updates should be every 3 months or so. Usually they contain content from a couple of arcade updates.

I didn't know there was so much content in the game, and I was worried it was a game for younger kids, just based off the promo images

There are young kids who play it, but I assure you they are not breeding flowers for the Bounties!

Young children enjoy exploring the map, riding the ghost train and ziplines, and maybe decorating a cabin.

There is much more to the game than that.

Cogimyun's Decorating Kits can be found by collecting Jemmies, Noodle Grass, and Gemstones.

(I checked Shimmersand, too, but either I'm really not lucky or it's not in those.)

I have completed the birthday event and given Cogymyun her cakes. What do I do with the rest of the decorating kits?

Whatever you like. Some people like hoarding decorating kits or using cakes for decoration, but you really only need it to complete the collection.
Birthday cakes can be used to make item wands, if you have those unlocked, but that's also just for fun.

The locations are always the same — unless it's an area that needs to be unlocked by quests and someone hasn't gotten there yet — so he should be by the comic stand for everyone today.
