I just got an entire book called How To Read a Suit that shows suits through the decades starting in 1760s to the modern day so yeah,,, I’m a bit of a nerd for suits (men’s fashion in general tbh) and I would’ve been very bummed if they skipped out on the 20’s. cx Not that I expect the most Historically Accurate™ clothes from the game given the artstyle, but it’s really, really fun to see how they translate it with said artstyle. I'm sorry you feel that way. The part that is insulting was that yesterday, they said that there was going to be an "announcement tomorrow" which resulted in a hype train. Then tomorrow comes along and then they change their words and say it's not a real update but rather "an announcement of an announcement." Lols what 🤷‍♀️
I see that their intent may have been to have a fun and silly interaction with their players, but I also want you to know that there's a flipside to this.
Thank you @tender atlas for giving such an emotionally intelligence response to the constructive criticism I've shared, unlike the rest of these folks who are attacking me for having an opinion that they disagree with.

I would also advise anyone who wants only formal announcements with clear dates / information to only follow the #announcements channel and not the Heads Up channel (folks should be able to remove the Heads Up - Announcements role so they do not get any pings from it).

#heads-up is designed to be much more informal- a fun way to keep the community a bit more up to date about things that are happening in Discord and occasionally within the game, and it will continue to have a more personal and off the cuff style of interaction

I find @latent mason points valid and not nasty or complaining. The fans of this game are just as enamored with and dedicated to this game as the devs or we wouldn’t be here. Obviously I don’t think Chelsea was trying to insult anyone with a humorous comment, but Bubbles’ point stands: it can be seen as demeaning or dismissive to fans to consistently allude to announcements of announcements without details.
