Go look in the multiplayer channels or the user marketplace channels. You can usually find people there. To invite or go to someone's island, you have a code on your phone on the game that you can give someone or they can give you their code in text.

Sometimes the game might glitch and freeze, so people might have to resend their codes sometimes.

they should be in this order: spanish, cantonese, mandarin, korean, thai, italian, tagalog, and portuguese

i could only find a few assorted clips and incomplete episodes of some

also from what i can tell there were 2 different thai dubs, one that aired on tv and one that went straight to bluray? the one here is the bluray one

i wish i could include the english dub

but its completely lost

no clips seem to have resurfaced, only fanmade dubs that people think are the official one

as seems to be the fate of many english dubs outside of the us

also makes me realize theres a lot of sanrio anime specifically that are pretty lost. iirc a lot of the button nose anime is lost, i think the russian and arabic dubs have the most episodes available? not long ago i saw someone get ahold of the english audio for one episode from the guy who did the music for it.

I think his design isn’t as liked in Japan too. He’s a bit more cartoony than the other cat characters (they are more anime, sorta realistic, or very kawaii designs). His eyes remind me more of western cartoons. But yeah he also just doesnt have merch lol. I have seen way more merch of charmmy in japan than chococat. I think i have only seen a few merch in thrift stores. Maybe one or two things in the sanrio stores.

at most places with them, the melokuro mascots' noses are like, a clear-ish plastic

but at harmonyland fairly recently they were changed to a more fabric looking material

i assume still somewhat see-through from the inside

ive seen photos of sanrio mascots (particularly with flash on) where u can see some of the wearer from the mask vision holes so maybe its to help prevent that? idk

there was one pic i saw of uh.. moppu iirc? where you could see one of the wearer's eyes in the crab on his head and it looked kinda creepy sdhgdfh

bc the flash hit just right so you could see the other side of the plastic since the crab's eyes were the vision holes

i found it in some pin folder of mascots either unmasked or just having the wearer visible in one way or another

bc algorithms suggest weird things to me

there was a photo with the source deleted of i think a universal kitty mascot with the mask removed. it was interesting to see how much like, bulk? thickness?? that costume adds onto the wearer's body. so much respect for mascot suit wearers that jobs gotta be tough

esp for the characters with shorter limbs.... i also saw a photo of the espresso mascot falling over. luckily you could see someone not in a mascot right next to them so i assume they were helped up after. maybe its not a horrible fall since the heads are so big, but still

also next to the old lala mascot. which was much more normal human-shaped and less chibi like she is now

ig the new designs are more accurate to the art...? idk. i kinda like the old ones

i saw a vid of some thing from 1989 with what seemed to be earlier versions of the mascots used for puroland

with a few differences. kitty's head looked weird

actually no her everything looked kinda weird

idk something abt the face in particular feels off

my melody's looked pretty much the same as it did at the parks (until 2005)

(her mascot was changed in that year i think around the same time kuromi debuted at puroland)

i have the live show this happened at on dvd so i can see like, more professional shots for the whole thing

but nothing beats this specific scene from an audience perspective

i cant explain it but its really funny to me. shes out

she got hit in the head by a baseball that crashed through a window (thats not even a joke thats actually what happens. they have it on a stick and they lightly bonk the mask with it)

i was worried the copy i got was a fake at first bc the case it came in was very much not the original

but thankfully it had the original disc. ig the case just got lost at some point

it used to be a rental copy after

ppl sell those online for pretty cheap sometimes. usually bc theres a chance it wont work or will be pretty beat up. the 2 former rental copy puroland dvds i got were in good condition tho

the cover images dont look like they were copied or anything so maybe the different case was a thing with the specific place it was at

not exactly sure why they end up sold secondhand. ig they retire some stuff over time to make room for new stuff

and the retired copies wind up on secondhand sites

both my copies also have sun damage on the sides of the case images

i also wanna get old puroland vhs releases

lot of shows that have no or barely any videos online that had home media releases

mostly from the 90s when the puros were still used at the park

theres someone i saw who uploads some of their old vhs tapes but they add some text on top and it annoys me a little bit so i wanna get my own copies of the same tapes

their uploads are a mix of that, old personal recordings, and old music used at the park. iirc they used to work there?

or maybe im confusing them with someone else

theres someone else i saw who uploaded a lot old audio and music used at the park, but its all degraded over the years

but its like. the original audio with no sounds of other things

thats how another person got audio from some of the old animatronic shows, they found people that worked for the companies contracted by sanrio who still had the audio used for them on-hand

apparently one person still had a statue? of one of the animatronics used for a bit... what was his name uh. digit? he was a lil robot guy used for the old discovery theater show

it used to be an animatronic show. nowadays it seems that they just show movies there
