One more thing about e.e's pseudo bg code - he fixed the issue where when you right click on sidebar and hover mouse on menu outside compact sidebar's region, the pseudo bg collapses. That code isn't on GitHub, so you'll have to ping him for it.

What I'm doing is just removing the web content entirely from there... so the blur we see is just the background of the browser.. the actual sidebar is just transparent with a slight tint... no web content is blurred.. also masking seem to more smoother than blur as well at least for me while doing heavy debugging

it's the same thing I did to get glance transparency... instead of trying to make the stuff behind blurry (which is actually possible here but I didn't wanna do it)

I just used the existing browser's blur and removed the content behidn the overlay UI with a mask>>> in the glance you can clearly see the fade I kept

Like you see, what would happen if all code of an app or OS is in a folder? It's just get messy overtime. If you get an entire day free in future, you can consider doing this as it looks a lot more clean.

I dont quite understand your question, but if you have the userChrome and even userContent in the root of your repository, you dont need it in the theme.json.

Also, in all CSS, imports have to be at the top with nothing containing them. That's why sine automatically adds little media selectors to non import sections. (Won't be the case with Tangent.)

Yes, for websites with a dedicated dark theme, I did not add darkreader support since darkreader is a pretty unreliable workaround that's gonna break overlays...

Instead, keep the add-on on auto mode with dark theme detection so it mostly does it when needed.

You can get back the workspace name... Currently it's just hidden.. hovering over the workspace dots in the sidebar should reveal it.. if oyu do not have multiple workspaces, might need to turn fof css , create a workspace and then enable

I don’t get why Zen won’t implement this — or even completely dropped support for Windows 10. Is it just hard to optimize?

This is so unacceptably bad. Any subtle Tailwind gradient will band TERRIBLY on Firefox. Seems like there's literally nothing you can do to prevent it.

i had same issue while making my discord client transparent

gradient was applying too rough, no smooth transition from color to color, this fixes it

There's a rate limit of 10 per minute for existing issue checking but that's not gonna be a problem 🙂

Zen Internet v2.4.0 is out! A quite major, but not noticeable update...

Features:

• Now the theme requests prompt the user to try the force theming before a submitting.
• You can (and please do) mention if the requesting website does need an account to be accessed.
• While submitting, the addon will automatically check for existing issues for the same website! It will display the gathered information if present. You can still submit but please do not try to do duplicate submissions.
• Bug reports now include the addon configs (minus website specific configs)

Fixes:

• Fixed the last fetched time.

So basically this update does nothing much in the user's experience but does help a lot for me to do requests and fix bugs easily with more context which allows to have less back and forth communication.

For each of these, I need you to go to about:support and give me the profile folder. On top of the profile folder, I will also need the application binary folder.

yeah. I saw that on Windows, Mullvad was installed in the appdata location and I don't know what Mac does so idk. It's a shame there is no documentation online that shows the default paths for each platform and version.

ohhh lemme install it first to see diff locations... but in mac, app goes into applications.. because that's where spotlight search for apps so it shows up in launchpad and search and stuff.. but technically you can run an app from anywhere... data will be usually in the Application Support but let's see

no. its the firefox sync. changes are Zen Internet "supports" mobile and hence, firefox automatically adds desktop extensions to people's mobile versions and then next thing you know, 58% has it.
