All the seasonal cosmetics were only available for a limited time. It’s unknown if they will come back again once the season they were for returns, but for now they can’t be unlocked via the cosmetic chests or bulk exchange.

For those of you having issues and getting "Steam error" it's cause the game is not connecting to steam properly. This could very well be an issue with Steam itself. Your best bet to fix it may be to restart steam

I don't think you can turn off the flip cat feature, the option is just to toggle which way your cat is facing and the shortcut to toggle that is f so every time Bongo Cat has focus and you press f it will flip

The gaming mode works in kind of the same way, while gaming mode is on you can't interact with bongo cat unless you are opening chests. You have to have your Bongo Cat focused and press F4 to turn off gaming mode, the only difference between how the gaming mode short cut and the flip cat short cut works is that you can't press F4 again to go back into gaming mode you have to go into the settings and turn it back on from there

Depending on what game I play I have gaming mode turned on so I can access things in the game with out winding up using Bongo Cat instead. I also have it set so any new cosmetics I get are equipped right away and that my cosmetics will randomize every 5 min so I don't have to worry about switching cosmetics or going to look at new cosmetics

To be clear gaming mode does not stop what Bongo Cat does, you can still see him, he still taps the bar and the number goes up every time you press a key/click. It just makes it so you can't click on Bongo Cat, it clicks on what ever is under Bongo Cat at that moment

Click on the chest every half hour anyway, even if Steam gives an error. You still receive the item - just check your Inventory History. In-game exchange may freeze, but it seems to work as well; a new item can also be tracked in the Inventory History. typically the auto add button only takes duplicate items, unless you have an item favorited and "exchange favorites" setting turned off, then youll just stack those items unless you click them specifically to exchange

Why are you upset about possibly missing event item drops? We continue to receive items according to RNG by clicking on the chest and ignoring the Steam error window. Have you checked your inventory history – all the new items are there. Just pause the in-game exchange for a while – hopefully everything will return to normal well before the event’s end date, and you’ll be able to exchange 10 to 1 of higher rarity

Exchanging 10 event items doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get an event item back. It’s still random. 🤷‍♀️

Having the same issues here since a few days (i believe since the anniversary update?)
Getting constantly "Steam Error" and occasionaly the "Steam/Bongo Cat Error, Restart Steam & ur Game".

Trade-Ups are kinda working with a workaround, after pressing the Trade Button, going into Settings and press "Update and Restart", then it traded the Item
