it used to be a steam issue as well. that is why I suggest not touching the chest for 30 mins after it is restarted. ignore the timer and just wait. 🙂

Generally the best way to get higher tier items is through the exchange system. 10 items of one rarity should give you 1 random item of the next rarity above it

So the lobby code that changes is actually just the last 5 characters it seems, as in TTL lobby codes it also seems that the change is in those digits, and those codes are 13 instead of 10 characters, thanks to the TTL at the beginning

The first character of the changing 5 seems to be incrementing up consistently. Haven't figured out the pattern of the other 4

Creating 4 lobbies a few seconds apart resulted in:
-vT9Fk -vT9P2 -vT9hF -vTnV4
Seems safe to say the other characters are counting up/down too, in some sort of counting system. Have yet to see the sequence tho

They seem to go uppercase -> Lowercase -> Number (or another starting point with this loop)

I have too much work to be trying to extract the counting system of your lobby codes. Sorry for the spam! Will disappear now (although I have a lot of interesting conclusions)

As far as I remember, since the very beginning only the first four letters of the lobby name have never changed. The fifth letter, for example, used to be Z at some point. So for now it’s always CfdK - Coalition for Digital Kittens 😁

Ah, I see. The artificial boosting did increase though after the release of that achievment. Its kinda old but this one thread on steam teaches you how to change the code to just passively get taps without doing anything. I noticed an influx in that threads popularity and also heard several people complaining about it.

Personally I could care less. I'm an active cookie clicker player and with 1.8k hours i still dont have 100%. meanwhile you look at the achievment completion rate and you can tell how many people are using a steam idler to just unlock every acheivment. Acheivments on steam mean absolutely nothing, you can download a program and unlock any acheivment you want within 10 minutes.

you ever seen those profiles with hundereds of games 100%'d, but then you look at their playtime and it just doesnt match up. Lots and lots on steam.

Idk what’s the point of all these hacks. For bongo cat you can’t up the timer for the chests so what’s the point. All you need is 1-2k every 30 mins and you’re good. But going for the achievements you’ll get them eventually and it feels better to work for it

Most Auto clickers don’t work for bongo cat. I played a bit of cookie clicker with one and it didn’t count any clicks. People need to actively search for one that works so no one “accidentally” hacks

Autoclicker on cookie clicker is fine, there is literally an acheivment that can only be obtained by using an auto clicker. In bongo cat its obvious that you're not supposed to because as you said, it doesnt work. There are work arounds though. I downloaded that new idle game Tap Tap and noticed that if you ran an autoclicker while both bongocat and tap tap were open it worked for both. Alone, the autoclicker worked for neither. not sure if it still works but out of curiousty I ran OP autoclicker upon first opening up the program

If a person quits the game without leaving the lobby, the next time they open the game again they will automatically re-appear in the same lobby as long as the lobby is still active (a lobby stays active as long as there is at least 1 person still in the lobby).
