my main issue is i want to add MORE achievements in the future and that will mess with your steam achievement progress, it will not stop at 5M (but will also add different types of achievments, not just clicks)
and if that's too much of an issue for too many players i will move it to ingame, else i'm willing to add steam achievements

And the audience can be so spoiled, as I see it 😅

Marcel, everything you create is magical and brings kindness and smiles. Try to look at the bigger picture instead of focusing on small dots. It’s like looking at one city on Google Maps, and then scrolling out, changing the scale, until you see the whole planet with all its hemispheres. Honestly, what you've gotta remember is that people are much more likely to speak up when they have something to complain about than otherwise. For every one person who's not satisfied, there are probably five, ten, even a hundred people who love what you're doing.

Personally, I loved the prospect of getting more achievements over time, but I'm not upset about the idea of not getting any more either. Bongo cat is good enough that something as small as achievements don't really seem like that big a deal to me

But honestly, if someone is upset enough about getting more content to complain about it, especially something as optional as achievements, I don't think that's a sign that they care much about the game to begin with.

I think adding more steam achievements is perfectly fine and that you should if you want to, tbh. It's enjoyable. I like the silly skin and I, frankly, like having something to work towards also. But if people are dicks about it, I'd much rather you put your time and energy towards giving us more content than dealing with people being dicks. It does suck that people are being rude about it though 😭 it's not like it's the end the world to not 100% a game (or like it's particularly hard to get to 5m taps if you keep it open on your computer often,,,, frankly.)

There are people on the Steam community page who are complaining about the 5m bongo taps achievement being added for... I don't even know why 😭 a bunch of completionists were upset I guess because it made it hard to complete the game. I know people were being dicks and it was upsetting (which is valid, it's super upsetting whenever people are rude about shit you care about/put a lot of work into/etc.) so the achievement got removed at least temporarily.

About this poll:
I think the 5 million achievement is enough.
Why? Because it is unnecessarily high for "normal" players already.
Even the 1 Million is too high for some. It has a demotivating effect for people who like to have their games on 100%.
Even if Bongo Cat is a game that is just open while doing other thing´s, for people who have a real life with work, family, hobbies, and so on, such achievements will be bad.

About the multiplayer achievements - I personally see no problem with that one, but I know that other people never ever play multiplayer and for them it would be bad again.

I would rather suggest to put in something like "milestones" instead of achievements, so the steam achievements will not be touched. Like for example if you hit 5 Million you get a special cosmetic, or maybe you could even choose a cosmetic of your choice - that would make people really happy, and happy people keep playing the game, keep recommending it and keep spending money on it on the long run.
