every 30 mins you get a chest you can open for 1000 clicks. the chest timer resets when you buy it. you can see how long you have left until the next chest by clicking on the counter 🙂

the game requires no internet connection so it can't send out anything
i ship the .pdb files so you can take a look what the code does (requires some coding knowledge)
windows defender and similar anti virus programs have special checks inside nowadays so if i request inputs via windows apis then it checks what i do with them, if i would log them to a file or send something via the internet it would also flag the app as a virus

i hope that eases your mind
there are also a few people in the community that look into the code frequently to check so i don't do anything malicious

It's not spyware. Each item can be sold on the marketplace, and the devs make money for each transaction. There was a similar "banana" game before that did the same thing. This one is different because it's cute and mostly unobtrusive. Is it an abuse of the inventory market system? I couldn't say that, but the devs are making money off of each item sold on the marketplace lmao.

bongo cat uses 300mb of ram right now (mainly unity running) CPU also can't say because that will depend on your cpu
but you can decrease the fps and bobbig f.e. in bongo cat so it requires less cpu

It’s not the case. I had about 8000 unused clicks, then I enabled controller support, the game restarted automatically, and both my click count and total clicks reset to 0. After trying to restart, the total click count should have been restored, but the unused click count is still 0, and the language has changed to another language

Is there a chance that when you receive a chest, you can get a hat of higher quality than gray or green?

For all my time playing (266 hours) and despite the number of clicks (1 million) the quality of items does not improve, crafting takes a long time, because crafting 1 item of green quality is 5 hours if you do not miss receiving.

1 blue = 10 green = 10 * 10 = 100 gray. 10 blue = 1000 gray.
Every 30 minutes 1 gray, so for 1000 gray you need 1000 intervals of 30 minutes.
1000 * 0.5 hours = 500 hours. (I don't take into account the possible drop of green ones)

I understand that this is the point, but endlessly receiving low-grade items with zero chance of something new or interesting kills any motivation to log in, if my chance of getting at least BLUE not from crafting (while spending a bunch of items for crafting 1, where you can also get crap) is zero, then why should I endlessly farm gray, which is already pretty boring?

I apologize if I wrote a lot of text, I just like the idea itself, but I don’t feel that the number of “clicks” that I “accumulate” have any meaning at all and encourage me

Yep, skin saves like presets is extremely needed feature. I play different games, and i use different cat skins in each game. So it will be much easier to just switch between sets instead of new whole cat creating...

Check out graphic settings in the game. Try to switch between full window/framed, etc options and watch the cat behavior. After making changes it is recommended to reboot the game. + enable "always on top" in the "Bongo Cat" settings.

The non-*tradable part is intentional due to bot accounts farming the game to oblivion.
The non-marketable tag should only be for the headphones and the cat with the controllers, so the fact that you said "all my skins" make me think that you only have said skins in you, or something else has gone really wrong with your inventory.
