They’ve already received it and are rejoining to play again - to help others get it.

Battle starts with 10 and more players. At the start of each next round, there’s a risk the host hasn’t updated their game, which can cause a bug. That’s why players were asked to intentionally lose in the first round to be safe and ensure they get the skin.

The people you mentioned are likely trying to help clicking much and letting others lose so you can claim your skin.

I would also suggest trying to leave the lobby and join again, it sounds unlikely that you have been disconnected from it since their emotes still work but that is another thing that can stop you seeing their taps

Maybe in the future the developers will come up with events where this group of players will have difficulty earning rewards, or something along those lines. But for now, there’s nothing like that. On the server, we simply don’t talk about them and ignore them. Naturally, cheating is unfair, and it’s a -1 to their karma for sure.

Those are presets you can create of your favorite skin/hat combinations so that you can swap between them quickly

But you’ve probably already made good progress toward earning some exchange achievements, and skins will still definitely drop from chests — the drop rate for common and uncommon items is fairly high.
But yeah, as Tanika said, it’s much safer to exchange duplicates.
