I dont think he is questioning how OP a class is, but rather how popular it is. Rogue was very popular that's why you didn't get picked unless you were a top rogue. That's DPS in general. If you want quick invites play a healer, you will get invites to raids.

hello guys , i just joined this server now , i'd like to know a few things just to confirm some info i've heard about the upcoming wrath prepatch and expansion

here are my questions if anyone certain of any answer related to these questions please share :
1- will the fresh realms on the 30th of august be with the same names as the current BCC?
2- if a guild master wanting to transfer as he made so much progress in the guild , will that guild be transferred with him ? is there any condition to keep it or is it not possible by any means?
3- after the fresh period is over, will we be able to transfer our BCC characters to the fresh realm when the expansion of WotLK gets released?
4- does the transfer conditions/restrictions also applied on this type of transfer?
5- the BCC realms will remain the same while WotLK have it’s own client to download ?

1. No, fresh realms will most likely have different names since all TBC classic realms will become WotLK realms

2.not sure if classic has guild transfers but how it works in retail is you can transfer the guild but it only transfers you (the GM) and the guilds bank and name. anyone who wants to transfer with the guild will have to pay for a transfer separately.

3.you won have to transfer your characters to a WotLK realm unless you want to go to a fresh realm as all TBC realms become WotLK realms.

4. Fresh realms have a lock on them restricting people from transferring over their characters to stop people from ruining the experience of a fresh realm. IE bringing a bunch of items/gold over.

5. No, TBC classic realms will end the day prepatch comes out. The servers aren’t ending persay but the servers will be changing to WotLK and hence for no more TBC classic servers.

So, regarding Wrath Deluxe edition, I saw in an email that the TBC Classic deluxe edition is going away on August 29th, the day before pre-patch.

So, I guess on the 30th when we get Pre-patch, Blizzard will just shadow drop the Deluxe edition upgrade. It would've been nice to get some advance notice on what it will include, though. We have a hunch but not sure on specifics like mount, other things.

Ok this is mostly a joke, tbh for servers it depends on what faction you want and if you want to join a megaserver and deal with queues or lag for the first maybe month after release if not more, or if you want to join a dead server and just level there and end up having to transfer because well it's dead.

I'd say look up a tutorial on healing and classes so you can get all the needed addons and weakauras cause everyone plays different

Also early game plays a lot different to late game so your early focus should be on leveling and addons that make that easier so you can actually get to the end game unless you decide to boost

If you're new to tbc the most important addon I can tell you rn is Questie

Then that's it, you're max weapon skill. It just means you're less likely to miss (but the % chance to miss varies based on the target).
