ok i found the secret to doing barbarian damage

rend + flay, and then upheaval with the furious upheaval passive

we cant play with them but we can finally look at what exactly sigils are

just want to make another point on barbarian - while i found a way to be strong, its not fun because its all about bleeds, stuns and running away

all the big hit skills dont do enough damage and dont heal or protect your character so youre squishy af

they really just need to give a bunch of barb skills low level damage buffs, they need to give their gear more armor, and they need to give barbarian some way to baseline generate fortify as like, a class feature so you gain damage reduction by doing damage

Originally I was using all bleeds but either it was boring or I would run away and let them die but not get the loot. So I switch to something a little bit more proactive but once again my ass is getting handed to me period and I'm still running away.

Scorc will be my main character for now on.

When we decided to start supporting a Diablo vertical D3 wasn't really relevant, D2 had been remastered, D4 was coming and Diablo Immortal had just come out. I've got a quick question about D4's launch. My understanding is that it won't be launching with a season, and that season 1 will begin a number of weeks after launch. Does this mean that I'll need to start from scratch when season 1 launches? Or will my progress carry over into season 1?

some progress carries over but if you want to do seasonal stuff like new content, you have to start over

i only managed to open 1 chest between multiple deaths (barbarian with what i suspect is NOT an optimal build) - but i got 4 or so sacred items which were mostly huge boosts for my level 50 character

Nope, playing without the HD pack and I experience system freezes when playing D4 too. Happens with WoW too.

Open world is really inconsistent with spawns, and with other people there too it can be very hard to be in the right place at the right time

events help, but some events don't spawn that much

did like 3 back to back earlier and had fewer than 20 of the currency out of it

ofc sometimes you get one of the timed events that spawns stuff as fast as you kill it, and there's like 4 other people there too, and you get like 100

Sacred is just a tier. You have normal stuff from World Tiers 1 and 2, Sacred from WT 3, and Ancestral from WT 4.

100% a translation issue, there are uniques, sacred uniques, and ancestral uniques. Report that bug!

usually on the ground the item will say sacred, or ancestral and then be unique colored

i think ive only seen one non-sacred unique, which is the ring from beating lilith

Finally jumpped on the D4 wagon and got it a couple of days ago. I play on my Alienware and my buddy plays on his PS5. We group up. I understand Blizzard posting periodiocally about cross play but geesh it's getting annoying in bright yellow font on the left side of the screen. Once is enough but it seems like every few minutes it appears and is really distracting and taking away from the game experiance. Just saying. So far the game has been great but I have to level up faster.

the normal ones will/can hold legendaries aswell it's not as high of a chance of multiple of them. it really helps when targeting a specific drop.

Personally, I’m fine* with the game being slower and more difficult. I like Diablo 3’s 90 mph combat, and the cracked out 200 mph combat of Path of Exile, but I’m not sure that mega fast combat lines up with the vibe that D4 was trying to originally project.

However, this is… not how I would do it 😅

Butcher is weird anyway, I'd say bugged. Followed me in a dungeon for a short time, ended up in an elite pack, and suddenly no more Butcher, he did a off screen teleport it seems and vanished
