If you accepted the quest in Stormwind, just abandon it. You should be leveling 10-50 by default in Kul Tiras by starting Battle for Azeroth content, and you will only be able to queue for that expansion's dungeons

Yes, you're good and can. The dungeon quests aren't required anymore either and there's an option to skip if you talk to the NPC who gave you the quest again

yeah, that was it, the first EC you do rewards the item to unlock the second slot for guests. this means the EC achievement for the Veilstrider meta achievement cannot be done in 4 weeks, it actually takes 5... yikes

I started playing 2 weeks ago after 9.1 break...and even then all those 1,2,3,4 ranks means nothing, 9.1.5 came and you don't need previous rank, you just straight buy I guess it was rank 6 or smthn. If you paid for the once a month sub. And cancel after paying. You can play till the time runs out. If you paid for a whole years worth of time and cancel afterwords you can play for that one year duration till the time runs out.

So you want to Transfer in hope of finding a guild? You could just play with other guild from other realms via a community group or whatever. I wouldnt transfer until you know of a guild that you want to join or else you will Transfer somewhere, meet another guild who is looking for members but on a different realm and transfer again

You have to have a sub/gametime in order to play the game (past the limited level 20 starter edition status), and to play the current expansion's content you need to buy the current expansion

In instanced content like arenas, battlegrounds, dungeons, and raids yes. For general questing and open world stuff, no

The difference is minimal. Tell your friend that all race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content until you start getting to the highest rankings of competitive play--and by that point if you have to ask what's best then you're not playing the content where it matters

You should pick what you like most aesthetically and with racials you personally find better suited to your playstyle

(Even the best players will use sub-optimal choices because they're good enough to not care about it)

You should set your keybinds to whatever is most comfortable for you--and you can also enable additional actionbars from the Interface menu and then set keybinds for them as well.

I use (and strongly advocate for getting) a 12-button mouse (I use a corsair scimitar pro). You can have your entire actionbar accessible using your thumb and then use alt/shift/ctrl modifiers for your other actionbars. I started using one due to nerve damage in my left hand, but I found myself using it for multiple games in addition to WoW

#

You can do that, and also bind some of the keys around WASD you find yourself not using

#

It's hard to recommend keybinds, because comfort and ease-of-use is different for every player

#

Just experiment and practice until you figure out what works best

I use multiple different scaled action bars in a pattern that resembles my keyboard 1-5 row with another on top binded to q,e,r,f,t and some more for my mouse buttons of which i have 14 which also are all double or triple binded via shift and ctrl modifier. For normal gameplay i hide my bars tho since i already memorized it and use a weakaura for important cooldowns, procs and stuff

Default key J for communities. To find one I would just start by using the group finder to get into groups that are raiding at whatever times you usually get on. Eventually you might find an organized group that is a guild or community.

Yeah for me i also arranged the other bars for my mouse in a way that all the skills line up (more or less) with the physical position. Was a bit weird at first but it helped me so much to stop misclicking my shit

The deer is your travel form, which will go as fast as your mount speed. Cat form is slightly faster than normal speed but not as fast as your travel form speed (when out of combat)

You can see a riding trainer at 10 and 20 to increase your mount training/mount speed. At level 30 when you get flying training, your travel form will be a flight form in areas where you can fly

Since you're new, I strongly recommend making a new character and playing through the Exile's Reach starting tutorial zone as that will best teach you the gameplay basics. Avoid creating a death knight or demon hunter to start with, as they have a different starting experience from other classes and without the proper experience first new players can easily get lost and not placed on the leveling path they should be on

Read everything such as quests, tutorials, and tooltips and let the game hold your hand for as long as possible

Orgrimmar is the capital of the Horde, so you're doing it right. Take the goblin's tour around the city and you'll get your first mount, and from there just keep following the quests given to you and you'll be sent to Zandalar where you'll be questing and leveling from 10-50

Most classes/specs don't fill the whole bar, which leaves room for stuff like items or mounts or profession skills

When it comes to keybinds, make sure you're binding things to keys that are comfortable for you to use. Don't be afraid to rebind the keys around WASD

#

Just experiment until you find out what keybinds make your abilities most accessible to you

Once you buy mount training, you can ride your mounts. Click the 🐴 button on the bottom right to open your Collections window, then click on the mount tab on the bottom of that window to access your mounts. You can drag one of them onto an action bar to ride that mount specifically, or favorite some and then put the random favorite mount button on your bar instead or just click on it in that window

Keep in mind, your specializations will save your actionbars for you so that when you swap from Retribution to Protection--for example since you're a paladin--they'll remain how you left them so you don't need to constantly rebind everything

If you were to boost the character you're working on now, you'd end up with all of your toolkit and abilities all at once and be forced to skip necessary introductory questlines for content that you as a new player want to have available

Hi! Wanting to resub recently. Anyone knows the fastest way of getting to 60? 1 expansion, or modified leveling paths, and by that I mean switching through zones/xpacs to 50? And after that, campaign, or the fate thing is faster/more interesting? I really want to play endgame, but the leveling is always boring (and sometimes slow) as hell, and scares me away from the game. Might sound stupid, but yea. Thanks! Does anybody know what addon is causing the hover tooltip to MASSIVELY increase in size randomly? I haven't been able to replicate it but it def makes dungeons harder when it takes up half my screen. I turned off Handynotes as somebody that was one of them. But it still persists. Renown, upgrades, and covenant campaign progress is unique for each covenant. If you swap back to an older covenant it will remain how you left it

#

Although I'd recommend waiting until getting the [Renowned] achievement so you can swap back to an old covenant without the 2 weekly quest requirement

There is no quest to unlock pets. You learn the ability to tame pets at a low level, and you just find a valid tameable pet and then tame it

#

And you cannot change your pet's specializations, you have to tame a pet of the right family for the spec you want

complete chapter 2 of the covenant campaign, continue to chains and complete chapter 4 to unlock flying in the first 4 zones then head to zereth mortis and complete that campaign. in between you can do some heroic dungeons to try and get some gear because ZM will fuck you up at ilvl 191

There are only very few 2 person flying mounts, only 1 can be bought ingame tho iirc

Endgame content tends to be the best way. Callings can get you a few thousand gold per day per characters, and then there are quest and treasure rewards. Selling BoEs, collectibles, mats, or produced goods on the auction house, etc

#

There are many ways to make gold and it all depends on your realm's auction house economy, but nobody is going to give you a 100% answer on the best ways to milk the market because they don't want more competition

#

The fastest way to make a bunch of gold would be to just drop $20 on a token and sell it

If you upgrade a 236 tier piece it will stay a tier piece if you upgrade it

im in EU where this is happening a day later and i still have login problems and sometimes get ported a few steps back or not able to teleport after hearthstone use because "Transfer failed: failed to determine the Instance." or something like that. That was losely translated from German. might be related idk
