Not really. It's a little late to find people that matches the conditions

1. Hasn't played the game before
2. Are roughly at the same progress as you
3. Wants to group up

That said, I feel you'll have a much better chance to go in-game and play, and if you come across anyone in your way, ask away. In the past that's how I've experienced group questing. Sometimes it lasts for a couple of hours, sometimes a single quest.

If, lets say you killed 2 bosses while they have 8 down, and you enter their instance, a panel will pop up, and you will have to choose between accepting their lockout or leaving the instance. If, lets say you have 2 down and they have none, and you enter their instance, you wont get loot from the first 2 bosses

While rsham does more damage, and has some ok utility in bl and some totems, mw has movement, insane healing throughput and things like ring of peace/paralysis

While also being able to cleanse diseases which rsham cannot

And mistweaver have arguably better raid cooldowns like revival

Bonedust isn’t that much healing by itself, you’d use it more for damage and a little bonus heal

Resto shaman is usually taken for its huge toolkit. While their healing output can be rather high it's often not the best.
If you ask me resto shaman is actually overturned these days. It could be less and the spec would still be fine.
This and the high damage output is why you see so much more resto shamans these days as compared to the past years.

Hello - I am attempting to make a raid night calendar event for my guild. However, when I attempt to add members to the invitee list, it only says 'Members are automatically invited to sign up for this event'. How do I amend this? Thanks

If you create a guild event it is automatically put into each guild members' calendar.

If you want to invite specific people I think there is only an option to invite certain ranked guild members in a guild event.
If your guild doesn't use specific ranks for raiders you'll have to create a normal event and invite players indivdually.

Hello, I just returned after taking long break. Right now I have my hunter lv 60 ilvl 210, renown rank 64. I have finished my covenant campaign and unlocked flying in shadowlands. And currently in progress to finish chains of domination 6/9. I was wondering if there's anything else I need to do or that's all?

And I was wondering if I could get any advices on getting higher ilvl (I am solo player, so I can't do normal or heroic or mythic raid as far as it seems like) and any advices on farming renown.

Korthia should give you an 233 Ilvl without raiding.

You dont need to do anything. Other than the things you have mentioned nothing else really seems to be in mind. Korthia gives 220ilvl pretty quickly, and with time you will get to 233

Hello, I just created my very first character in WoW, I'm happy to discover the game, but a question is bothering me: What are all the expansions released so far for? I mean, if I understand correctly, I do the main BfA quest, then the doors are opened to me in Shadowlands, and that's it? All previous expansions/regions don't contain stuff equivalent to what can be found in Shadowlands? 80% of the game is obsolete, except for achievements? EDIT: The little activity on the various WoW discord servers is worrying: WoW is dead?

The leveling has been revamped in Shadowlands so you can follow the story easily without jumping back and forth through the timeline, seeing as Cataclysm changed some of the world. After you reach level 50 on one character, you may experience the other expansions.

The activity issue isn't something to mind, people will return because Blizzard makes pretty cinematics.

Character progression before max level is meaningless. You'd generally want to do the other expansions for collection's sake.

Whether I'm locked onto an enemy or not, I've tried activating and right clicking it and left clicking it, it doesn't do anything, I've tried clicking on it with shift or control also pressed at the same time, didn't do anything. The select icon doesn't even light up blue when I'm hovering over the enemy and it does occasionally light up over nothing and then tell me that whatever is out of range

It won't appear in the Looking For Raid finder, during the next expansion, if that's what you mean. It should function the same as any other old expansion's raids and you can't enter them on your own, and the gear won't be useful but you can get it for transmog

I wouldn't expect to be able to solo it until the end of the next expansion, anyway

For specific raid bosses I know some are good to do in the beginning but others you really want to wait until later, I don't know the current raid tier so I don't know when to lust for raid bosses

Blood - a Tank spec based mainly on self healing effects

both are rather mobile - they have a double jump, and a glide effect that is unique to DHs

i will say this about area 52 and stormrage i don't speak for the whole server or all guilds but area 52 can be a tough server to start off on its more of your serious server focused on raiding and all of that stuff can overall be intense depending on the guild your in im not saying stay off the server no but if you're looking for something more casual then i recommend thrall such as its sort of a balance but really it depends on the guild your in and stuff but thats just what i've noticed from my experience on area 52 and such

im just saying that as a heads up and just giving u what the server is about for the most part but if youre into that sort of thing then i say go with it

All class, race, and spec combos are viable for all forms of content up until the highest tiers of competitive play, and even then it doesn't matter that much if you're good. Just experiment with different characters until you find something you like

You'll have more fun playing the game if you're playing a class that feels better and is more fun for you as a player

But I wouldn't recommend making a death knight or demon hunter character, specifically because they have a different starting experience that new players may not understand and will easily get lost and confused

You used to be able to put your own texture for it in \Interface\Tooltips with the name "Nameplate-Border.blp", but that doesn't do anything anymore on retail (does still work for classic/tbc though). Just the game likes to keep you in the newest previous expansion for ease of learning (BfA) for your first character only BfA zones will scale to 50 with you. But once you level to 50 on a character you have access to Chromie time which scales any past expansion to your level.

You can play up to 20 for free just 20 comes quickly but it gives you a taste to see if you like the game
