If you just got to shadowlands, it might be difficult to solo mobs not only on mage, but on every class

Ye both of those classes are pretty mobile

Casters are usually cast spells in order to deal dmg

If you spec into arcane mage tho, you will be able to take down most of the mobs pretty easily before they reach you

Yeah i leveled through Zandalra to 51 as Arcane because i read it was supposed to be best. I've found frost to be better at solo though. At least so far.

The default leveling path from 10-50 for new players is the Battle for Azeroth content in Zandalar or Kul Tiras. Once you've leveled your first character to 50, you can use the Chromie Time feature on future characters to have the levels of the expansion content of your choice scale with you so you can level 10-50

Because that's old content and only scales up to a certain level

Like I said, the default leveling zones without Chromie Time for 10-50 are in Kul Tiras or Zandalar

Not sure if my intention would be criticized (being a fury warrior worrying about slam, or shield even!) but its purely for experimentation. On one button I want to cast Slam, and swap my offhand with ALT and different with CTRL.

This works, however it just keeps swapping offhand and doesn't cast Slam

It is based on your ilvl, lfr is the easiest to join due to it having the lowest requirement. Normal,Heroic, and Mythic doesnt have an ilvl requirement set by Blizz, but by the players, you can work your way up, or just ply through the questlines and Unlock Korthia in order to get better gear, but if you just came back, it will take a while

I used to play a couple years ago, and I got back in for shadowlands, I've been just running through the campaign, but have found I'm desperately not good enough/well-geared enough for many of the things I felt I would have been back during legion, like some of the raids and similar. I have a kyrian arcane mage I'm running as my main, but I can pretty quickly level a rogue or priest since both of those I have as pretty high levels. Is there any great advice I can get on some builds or similar that help during the covenant grind, or is there any special ways of grinding covenant? I'm just mostly doing world quests and the path of ascension right now to the best of my ability.

Let me guess: you picked up a random quest in Stormwind to do the Stockades dungeon for a weapon, and you don't know how to do the dungeon and it won't appear in your group finder?

Well the last part yes, but I didn't pick up the quest for the weapon, although I did accept some of the people's quest inside the dungeon.

Ignore that quest and abandon it. The default leveling path from 10-50 for new players is in the Battle for Azeroth content in Zandalar or Kul Tiras, and those BfA dungeons will be the only ones you can randomly queue for while leveling. Once you've leveled your first character to 50 you may use the Chromie Time feature to level 10-50 on future characters in the expansion content of your choice, as well as queuing for that expansion's dungeons while leveling. The Stockades are considered a Cataclysm dungeon

I would personally avoid paladins as a starter tank, Prot Warrior has always been my go to for semi mindless tanking, loads of AOE attacks make for easy threat control, although I can't say much for Shadowlands, my prot warrior is 60 but I have yet to talk myself into running many dungeons with her haha, Demon Hunter is pretty fun too though.
I have always found Paladins to be weird to play although that could be due to my Prot warrior usage haha

yes, any time I run BGs or world pvp about 98% of the people I have to hide from are easily 7/9 or higher in full pvp gear very rarely do I ever see anybody with less than at least 50k health, today along I've seen 3 different druids with over 100k before cooldowns, one of them even hit 200k during a fight

Yep it’s a rep grind with Operation Shieldwall (Alliance) / Domination Offensive (Horde). It’s located in the zone Krasarang Wilds in Pandaria.

You get the armoured version for getting exalted and purchasing it from the quartermaster. And the unarmored version from complete the quest campaign.

Horde received the updated Wyvern Model, Alliance received the updated Gryphon Model.

yes i have sussecfully played games from an external. and so has she but havent really found the time to play here recently she finally has the time to play and is just having issues, my experience in games i play from and external includes sims, stardewvally, wow, and gta. im not much of a gamer, but have zero issues playing this way.

not 100% sure what the transfer rate on her usb ports are but i do know she is using USB 3 to run a 1TB external. But yeah i know 60gb is pathetic, not sure she bought the computer with gaming in mind. im currently working on picing together a tower that has the hardware for gaming and what not but thats only a pipe dream and am getting the parts when time and money allow, guess she will just have to wait for that to be finished.

generally the minimum level is the content it comes from

if its dungeons, it might be that the dungeon scales, in which case it might have a level when it drops but wont have it by default because its the level range of the content and then will have a minimum level based on when you run it

You can craft the highest ilvl legendary, you just need all of the bits. The 262 ilvl vessel, the legendary power, the 5,150 soul ash, and 1,650 soul cinders

I was wondering what are the best realms for a more social experience where you can make friends and talk with randoms ?
Possibly a place where it's possible to join guilds, and where the faction balance isn't completely broken.

If you play on NA realms, I'd recommend Wyrmrest Accord. Even if you don't RP there's still a great community, high/full pop, relatively close faction balance if you don't count blood elves that just stand around and do nothing, plus the cities and towns don't get sharded so they feel more populated

It was an Ahead of the Curve achievement reward for defeating N’Zoth on Heroic or Mythic from the raid Nyalotha. Had to beat the boss during the patch when the raid was released. It was removed once the patch ended and the pre-patch launched before Shadowlands went live.

Since the Mist of Pandaria expansion, they have done this for the final raid in World of Warcraft, there are groups like “Perky Pugs” who do try to help players obtain them who don’t currently have a raiding guild or have the gold to fork out for a carry to obtain it. :3

Hunter is a king of solo questing with their pets, but is more on the BM side to be sure the pet keep aggro constantly, where warlock, the 3 specs can use the voidwalker. Hunter is more simple for a newbie than warlock I also think, but the two have a fairly skill level.

Of course, it's if you want to play one of these two classes. If you are interested in another, you can. There is no "trash" class on World of Warcraft.

You surely mean the imp, it's a DPS pet. The voidwalker you get later is a tank pet.
