I just power leveled to 60 and got some gear real quick trying to get into some before vault

From what I figured out I need to do lfr and mythic dungeons and hopefully squeez in a normal raid

You dont need to go that fast, after hitting lvl 60 you gotta do some normal, then heroic, and mythic dungeons(note that if you are playing a dps, you will have a harder time getting into groups, so making your own group might be a better choice)

And the group's leader is the one who decides the required ilvl

My best advice is to try to do some heroics until one of the needed items drop at a higher ilvl, and then do a mythic dungeon based on your missing items

So if you need a weapon, choose a dungeon that has a chance to drop a weapon for your class

The most apt leveling experience for WoD, is, I'd say leveling an Outlaw Rogue. So many benefits. Stealth, the unique map ability that tracks treasure, a purely damage class so every weapon is useful.

The transmog tab tells you which raid and boss transmog items drop from. And if they don't drop from bosses, it is a World Drop, which you can find on the Auction House, which I would forbid you from using if we played together, and other appearances are from vendors.

You still keep all of the renown and sanctum upgrades already--if they're ones you've earned with that covenant. It'll be the same in 9.1.5 but there won't be two weekly quests to rejoin an old one anymore. If you swap to a new covenant you've never earned renown in or done anything for you still won't have anything though

You can trade gear that's bind on equip, but if you both fight a dungeon or raid boss together and are eligible for the same loot you can trade things that are soulbound. You can tell what soulbound items are able to be traded like that from the cyan text that shows up under its tooltip

Quick question, are the goblin tutorial quests all just borked? On another character I wasn't able to turn in the final quest in the chain, and on another (a mage) where I learned teleport to Orgrimmar but left my hearthstone set to the Lost Isles, her hearthstone has somehow become set to Orgrimmar so she can't get back to the Lost Isles.

Yeah, the Lost Isles are only there for the goblin starting zone, similar to Gilneas for the worgen starting zone

Let me also reiterate I didn't leave as part of the quest chain progression; I'm talking about a mage character, who automatically learned her first city teleport spell when she reached that level. I thought "nice, I'm going to hit up Orgrimmar for the barber shop before going back" and I left her parked there, and her hearthstone was still set to the Lost Isles last time I logged in.

But sometime between then and now, a patch or something set her hearthstone to Valley of Strength even though I've still got the rocket boots quest.

so basically as we established it has always been the case that if your character got somehow yeeted out of the instanced start zone they could never go back ... with 9.0 this may simply happen more often now with the level squish and stuff and poeople getting abilities like teleport that bring them out of there way more easily than glitching through the floor 😉
