Level scaling. When you're enough levels above something and its difficulty number is green or grey, then you're more powerful than it and should defeat it easily. You can see the default maximum level that content scales to by looking at the number of a zone on a map--that is the highest average level of content in that zone that it will scale to
Outside of Chromie Time, the only expansion zones that scales with you all the way to level 50 (and is the default leveling path from 10-50) is in the Battle for Azeroth zones of Kul Tiras and Zandalar

I'll post most of it here. Makes a lot of sense:
- start bfa from the war board
- skip the intro (if you’ve done it before)
- power lvl to 30 through the starting quests and the first zone
- get flying once you ding 30 (make sure to get your mount speedups in stormwind/orgrimmar at lvl 10 and 20 beforehand. If you have gold problems remember you can mail gold to your alts on the same side and server [i prefer all toons on a server to be in the same side horde/alliance.] About 1500 gold for each new alt is enough for bags, bank space, and mounted speed/flying)
- chromie time to Draenor (Iron Horde) until you get your garrison and hearthstone. (should be about lvl 33 with heirloom exp boost equipment level to work till at least lvl 34)
- Then chromie time to Legion and get your Legion Dalaran hearthstone and do a quick grind through the first artifact weapon quests so you can unlock your Class Order Hall.
(There are technically 3 Dalarans if you include the crater where the city was originally in Eastern Kingdoms. I guess there were too many main cities in eastern kingdoms and the orcs and tauren stuck in Kalimdor felt left out....it took what felt like 30 minutes sometimes just to get there from orgrimmar.)

i did chromie time, and it told me to take a zepplin, and i was questing in the zone with the pretty red roses on the ground like in dark tower

I have a dumb question but how do I get the appearances like I know some are in dungeons and raids but what about the ones that are under shadow lands season 2 and battle season 4 and stuff like that

There are some mounts that say dungeons and raids but I can’t figure out which dungeon/raid it is from like the antoran gloom hound

it used to be every tier set had a set for each class but it changed
i know theres an addon to help track where things drop from but you can always look in the dungeon tool for mounts and stuff

Thank you I played this a while ago and forget everything 😅 I just realized you can change the expansion tab to show more raids that’s why I was thinking there wasn’t many lol
Also, is level 45 an okay level to do the raids and dungeons or would I definitely die

you could probably do base raids and TBC no sweat but you might be rough anything higher. its best to just level to max then do it honestly

There are sooooo many of raid and dungeons gear appearances tho

Especially since pvp challenger sets become unobtainable once the season is over

normally if your press m to open the map some dungeons will have the name at the top left but can you see any circle icons for bosses ?
if you click on one it should take you to the adventure guide profile for that dungeon / raid
but if you cant find out the name try right clicking on your nameplate and clicking 'leave instance group'
