warrior has 2 dps spec and 1 tank spec. two world different. U chose well (i was joking before) , while u are dps u can understand the dungeon / raid mecchanics easily. once u know u can try tanking. sry bad english..

You would want to create a decent gap as charge gets there faster than plain running

ironically, you generally use charge to isolate one enemy or one pack of enemies and avoid pulling those outside the group

but that's a protection warrior thing to deal with, as a dps, you do not want to be pulling any extra mobs

Question, I can't move my character after doing a mounted quest (the Weight of Stone) (WASD, arrow keys, l+r mouse button to walk stuff). Everything else works normally. I have to relog to be able to move again. Is there anyway to break out of it without having to relog?

Hey guys. May be a silly question. I'm a casual player. But uhh, in regards to PvP and gearing, conquest gear in particular, how are some people maxed out with fully upgraded conquest gear. To my understanding there is a conquest cap? I only have a few conquest pieces/upgrades and I'm capped with being allowed like 550 per week.

Hi! So, I played Classic all the way to Mists and quit. I came back when TBC came back and tbh I personally enjoy Retail more. I definitely want to grind Shadowlands but I have a lot of learning to do. Can’t expect to win if you don’t really know what you’re doing, your teammates could be new or under geared aswell

If you're still leveling that can be a factor too. Leveling via pvp is awful because twinks exist, plus there's little to no actual balancing between classes and specs during the leveling process--on top of not having access to your complete spell and ability toolkit

If you really want to play the game, it's best to go ahead and get a subscription or add gametime to your account. At level 50, you can go ahead and buy the Shadowlands expansion to level to 60 and play current expansion and endgame content. As far as classes all races, classes, and specializations are viable for all forms of content until you start to get to the world 1st bleeding-edge stuff. As far as communities--it's the internet on a videogame. I'd recommend playing on an high-full population RP server, because even if you're not a roleplayer RP servers tend to have way better communities

So question after a preface. I'm currently starting legion and plan to complete all of it through chromie time. But I also want to do BFA complete. If I lock my lvl at 49, would it be possible to actually fully complete both? Or is the end game for both lvl 50 only?

Well, I suppose if you want the content to be scaled with you then you can go ahead and turn off exp gains at 49 and stay in Chromie Time, but it's not really recommended because it'll take you even longer to complete everything

BfA content however isn't affected by Chromie Time at all, and scales automatically since that's the default 10-50 leveling path

You'll have to speak to Behsten in Stormwind or Slahtz in Orgrimmar to lock exp

#

Again, totally not recommended, but it is technically possible

That's sort of what I want, time, because I actually want to complete expansions with the semi intended difficulty and their stories. So far I'm really loving the game but sheesh trying to figure out how to effectively complete any of the old content has been nights of searching through forums XD my one problem I believe you had talked to me before about, of not seeing people playing was fixed, which is great orgrammar is slammed full of people.

It's just funny and perplexing to me because it such an easy fix. Just lock leveling to 50 until you start the quest of shadowlands. That way people who want to just do all old content scaled before leaving for shadowlands will be happy and it absolutely harms no one haha

Yeah--but the number of people who want to do that is rather minimal, and it'd require a lot of balancing done to content that is no longer "relevant" to the current patch and what the majority of players are doing

I mean I totally get, that seems to be the status quo of this game. People want what they want and they're not wrong for wanting it and alas majority wins haha It just seems like a missed opportunity. Like you have 15 or so years of essentially irrelevant content just sitting there that offers no challenge outside of an arbitrary handicap placed on yourself for the sake of "leveling" that really doesn't mean anything outside of self achievement and transmog/mounts. But is it an achievement if you can plow through it? Because the endgame is the goal and the journey now. And a story that makes zero sense because of the way leveling is structured to boot. But why would you play anything from the past for any reason? As far as I can tell shadowlands has a ton of systems keeping you in the shadowlands. Everything before is for personal achievement and offers zero purpose for the endgame. Even chromie time aka the leveling experience is effectively pointless because as soon as you get to shadowlands all that leveling and progression, its all obsolete. I mean at this rate they could just make a battle pass and give you all the special stuff from old expansions reworked to be relevant in shadowlands and completely throw out 15 years of content haha not saying that's a great idea at all btw XD but I keep hearing this story is for FF14 and not wow, well why do they even try to have a story in the first place?

I think something got twisted in the process here XD the problem is that I'm not seeing how this mmorpg is actually anything close to an RPG. The story is scattered and locked behind arbitrary systems and the old content is irrelevant, and endgame is the only reason to play, not opinion, completely subjective, nothing in the past matters. Because if it did there would be structure and ways to make it relevant not just from a gameplay perspective but a narrative perspective. I dont want them to take out anything XD I want them to make it relevant.

So after returning to the game after a considerably long break, i've decided to buy a month and see what new stuff we've got. Trying to complete the 'You are now prepared' achievement so I can start unlocking the new races but i'm stuck at the 'Where they least expect it' in the 3rd stage of the achievement, lvl47 balance druid and I cannot for the life of me get past the quest, just get killed in a matter of seconds in the 2nd or 3rd stages. You should submit a support ticket in-game. What that's telling you is to find the name of the achievement in wowhead to see if there are any other prerequisites or reported issues, not actually get wowhead to fix it
