I'd recommend Wyrmrest Accord. It's an RP server, sure, but even non-RPers tend to prefer the community and it also has plenty of groups and communities that do endgame content like PvP and mythic dungeons and raids as well. And I'd you discount all of the blood elves that sit around and don't do anything, the faction population is pretty balanced so you can make Horde and Alliance characters freely

If this is what you meant, than no, you cant, because the max gold you can get on a trial char is a 1000 or 2000, and a token costs 175k on us, 240k on eu, so you will have to buy at least 1 sub to get to 50, but depending on how desperate you are, you might be able to pay for only 1 sub, level a char to 50, and make enough gold for a token

PVP Gear is stronger because whenever you engage in PVP Situations like Open World in Warmode, Arena, BGs etc the itemlvl of those pieces rises and with it the stats also do.

other than that pve gear is usually better than pvp gear for pve situations like raiding

right now i'm playing on a "New Players" server as an Orc (my first char) and I've barely seen anyone outside of Orgrimmar. I've never ran into anyone in the world even with PvP/War mode turned on

So I'm currently on a new shaman and trying to build my garrison but it wont let me place down the barracks for the quest. I have 340 resources, I learned the blueprints, And I have the quest. Am I missing something

Don't overthink it too much! Just play whatever appeals, and if it doesn't sit right, make a new character. I think I played about 5 levels of rogue, a bit of priest and a bit of druid before I finally settled with hunter, and even then I'm looking at switching into Demon Hunter now I have my hunter DPS down pat. Don't stress!

I believe that's a known bug. If I remember correctly, leave the garrison, turn off all addon's, go back in, and try again.
