Warlock is a more i stand in place and deal big damge spec while it is quite tanky, mage is a more mobile, but it still can deal big damage.
But we have to take specialazations inzo consideration too, but you will learn about that at level 10

There was an addon I used a while back, Legion or even Cata, called LootFilter, and I used it primarily to auto-trash things that weren't vendorable, while farming old raids - [mote of harmony] for example. It had a feature where it would auto delete all things below an ilvl you specify.
I'm sure if you can find it, that there was options to vendor instead of delete. Also, 2nd addon recommendation, Bye Hakmud, auto ejects the non-repair vendor from your tundra mount, only on the non-transmog one.

They just have a variety of playstyles that vary from person to person
There are mage players who are garbage at warriors and warrior players who are garbage at mages, and hunter players who suck at priests and priest players who suck at hunters
Stop operating under preconceived notions and assumptions and just play the game and learn it as you go along. If you wanna know how to do something better, look up a guide on wowhead
There are even class guides for every class and spec devoted to leveling that you can scale to your current level to show what you should be doing optimally

a good start is when u choose which zone to start questing in, go for suramar, do all wqs, and get the good suramaritan achievement since its requireed

the painful part is the nightfallen rep and quests the rest is alot easier
spamming every rep source for the nightfallen + suramar campaign got me halfway to revered in 2-3 days

Eh, Nightfallen rep really isn't that difficult to get especially via emissaries, reputation missions at your order hall mission table, and right now with the Darkmoon Faire reputation buff

The longest parts for the Balance of Power requirement in my opinion are the raid lockouts if RNG fucks you and doesn't give you all of the items you need for the raid bosses in Emerald Nightmare or Nighthold
If you don't get a drop from a boss on Normal you can try again on Heroic and then Mythic, otherwise you have to wait for the weekly reset
But ofc if it drops on Normal it won't drop on Heroic/Mythic

You just need to get to renown 45 and do the Korthia campaign questing. If you're at low renown, the Bastion campaign will get you a good chunk of renown to help get there

You need to get to level 60 and finish the leveling campaign questing for all four zones the first time to even join your covenant. After that, it's a matter of getting your renown up through various forms of endgame Shadowlands content--including your covenant campaign--to get to the 9.1 Korthia content that unlocks flying at 45 renown with your covenant
Even if you hit 60 before finishing the four leveling zones, you still need to finish the zones before you can even join your covenant the first time through
