You can buy certain items off the auction house to raise item level, given you have Shadowlands, and do dungeons to up your item level. Doing mythic dungeons is a good way to increase your item level and mythic plus are timed but give you upgraded rewards

• Missing Relics is given to players upon reaching Tier 2 of standing with the Archivists' Codex. Tier 2 is achieved through any combination of Tier 0/1 Codex quests and turning in Korthian relics, to a total of 1300 (or 3000? sources vary) reputation.
• Completing the quest requires a player to retrieve four items for Archivist Roh-Suir. Each is in one of four Korthian Relic Boxes scattered around Korthia. Each box requires a different key, all of which are purchased from Roh-Suir for 25 Catalogued Research: the Key Of Many Thoughts unlocks the box with the Gorak Claw Fetish, the Key of The Inner Chambers unlocks the Ring of Self-Reflection, the Key of Flowing Waters unlocks The Netherstar, and the Korthite Crystal Key unlocks the Guise of the Changeling.
• The quest doesn't have any immediate rewards, but turning in four relics has a cumulative value of 2000 Reputation and 1000 Catalogued Research.
• After the quest is complete, players get to keep all four keys. These keys are bound to the player's account, not a specific character, so alts can skip visiting Roh-Suir to purchase them.

Not all dungeons can be joined via the dungeon finder--only those you're eligible for based on your level. The majority you have to actually walk to in-game

You can exchange this at the archaeology trainer for another race's fragments. At first it might seem like you get less that way, but in Legion digsites always respawn in the same zone for the given fortnight, which means less travel time between them.

As for the skill needed, well, archaeology is the only profession in the game that still uses the traditional skillup mechanic. You start at skill level 1, and the maximum is… I think around 900-ish. Fortunately, you can just go to the trainer and learn every cap increase at once. No need to return every 75 skill levels like you have to do in Classic.

Another problem is, I don't know exactly what are the minimum requirements for each zone. BFA zones are definitely available from skill 1, so if you can't start in Legion, you can do BFA instead until you see the digsites marked on the Broken Isles map. You still will be getting crated artifacts that you can exchange later for Vrykul fragments, it's just longer travel time.

In Legion, you couldn't farm artifact fragments of every race whenever you wanted. They were on rotation, with each one available for two weeks. But this means that all digsites respawn in one zone, because each race had its own zone. And in case you didn't know, fortnight is another word for two weeks.

The digsites will be marked on your map, but if you are THAT new to this profession, you should probably start by reading a guide on Wowhead.

I think legion fishing caps out at level 75, but open up your proffesions tab, click on fishing skills, and it will show every single type of fishing you have and the level you are on at every type of fishing

The surest way would be to redo the Broken Shore scenario available from the notice board in your faction's capital city and follow the questline there.

Don't worry about dungeons while you level your first character. Your priority is the story questline outdoors. You will most likely hit 60 before you can complete it (and you must complete it).

Hmm, sounds like some kind of starter account related limitation, except it's applied to everyone below level 21, even subbed.

Patch 9.0 removed all profession skill caps from starter accounts. Perhaps they wanted to reinstate them somehow.

And I can’t play druid or dh on ff14

Whatever you keybind them to is your preference ofc, macros will mainly be mouseovers for your main healing spells since it’s easier to heal that way, and maybe a few macros for your blessings, which you can find on a wowhead guide or with a quick google search

there are many routes you can take in terms of technology used, whether it's a specialized controller/keyboard/mouse/etc., but afaik, you cannot use your disability as a way to ignore the game's ToS in which you agreed to

completely depends on how fast you play.

like, do you have a lvl 60 character whos been through the story already, are there any XP boosts running, how do the Queues for Dungeons look like, how many hours a day do you play, how concentrated/focussed are you.

lemme have a look at my shamie, that one was boosted and is currently 58

so i dicked aroudn with him a bit, and he has 18h to his name, he skipped the story and leveled through dungeons and worldquests, so not the fastest.

i'd estimate, determined player can make it throught he story in aroudn 10-15h

i dont think its a good idea to think of Main- vs. Sidequests in Terms of WoW. they are all just quests. Some are locked behind rep gates or other questlines you have to do first but they are all just quests. usually you would first quest through all the zones of an expansion, then there might be some kind of campaign and then there is the endgame content

i guess you're a new player playing the bfa content right? on zandalar or kul'tiras? i understand that could be confusing especially now that all the time gating has been removed. back then when you played the content when it was more recent you wouldnt have all of those campaign quests at once they would unlock over time which was a far more streamlined experience BUT obviously slower and now bfa just kinda acts as the training ground for new players

The start of the game is really beginner friendly, because it shows you how to play the game, and it is possible to get level 50 without leaving the starter quest line, but after 50 it gets more complicated, i would highly suggest looking things up on wowhead, youtube, or ask here if you get stuck
