It appears that you've been caught in the worst possible new player trap: installing Azeroth Auto Pilot. This is only to be used for leveling alts. Not fit for your first character. Uninstall it and return to Zandalar where you last left off.

At least you didn't follow its directions BEFORE reaching Zandalar. That could end up with having to start with a new character again.

When you open the map, you will have the ! icons on them marking important quests. But really, you don't need to do any of them in particular. Your main goal is reaching the max level, and up to level 50 it's not gated behind any quests.

It changes in levels 50-60 in Shadowlands, where you do need to do the main questline, but those quests will have a distinct icon of the ! on a shield.

Depends on the quest. Shorter quests may give you less XP. But it shouldn't be possible to do wrong in Zandalar.

Buy 4 Netherweave Bags. They are 16 slots, but should be enough for a new player.

Well, in lore it's the same Dalaran that just moved to a different place during the Legion expansion, but for gameplay purposes, it's two different cities with a similar layout and same name.

If you think at lvl 60 you can get into previous xpacs dungeons thru the Queue system, you can't. You'll only be able to do Shadowlands Dungeons.

If Chromie time is disabled (which it always is, if you are at level 50), then old expansion zones and dungeons don't scale up all the way to 50, but to a lower level, depending on the expansion they come from, to facilitate soloing. It can be as low as 30 for Wrath and older up to 45 for Legion. Only BFA is 50.

My friends prefer classic and do not want to play retail because they think is too easy. They dislike group finder, they dislike that you level up easily. We have not played retail more than a few days so I think we have some misconceptions.

IMO, I suck skill wise at PVP, but I just jump into BGs as resto on my druid and I kill it just healing and avoiding the actual combat part.. you die a lot because you're generally the priority target, but you're loved by the team and they generally protect you as best they can.

Generally, at level 50, your next step is to buy Shadowlands and start questing in the new zones to reach level 60.

If you really prefer to stay at 50, you should probably get the Heart of Azeroth, and then google for "new level 120 guide patch 8.3" (the level cap was higher before patch 9.0 rescaled everything). You will have difficulty finding players who are willing to do that content in a group with you, though.

1. By default, A and D rotates your character along with the camera, but it is nor recommended by more experienced players. Using right click is the preferred method. And if the camera moved without you having to click, you wouldn't be able to click on stuff.
2. I suspect queues for players below level 60 are going to be very long. It's not considered an efficient way to level.
