Im not sure what you mean by tracking buffs but those are handled by UI addons like ElvUI or unit frame addons

there's also a crap ton of weak auras for tracking specific stuff like timers for raid bosses and whatnot

Personally, you should take like an hour making sure your ui is perfect

Dungeon spam does a poor job of explaining the game. I strongly recommend leveling 10-50 through the Battle for Azeroth zones of Zandalar and Kul Tiras, along with reading up on relevant new player guides on wowhead

Both are good. But just choose what you'd like. Alchemy means you can create potions which help, enchanting boosts stats. Up to you how you want to play :)

If you pick herbalism you can then only pick one of the other two. But if you choose to pick both alchemy and enchanting then yes you'll need to get stuff off the AH :)
You don't really need to level through everything either so if you want to wait until level 48 when you can hit shadowlands and then pick up professions that's an option as well, as SL crafting is separate, the same as the other expansions are these days

Whenever you have a trouble in a quest, a good idea is to search it in the comments on Wowhead. In this case, the problem is that First Aid profession has been removed from the game, and thus not all classes have an easy access to healing items. Try buying some bandages from the Auction House. Or come back to the area and continue the quest with some non-injured gryphons respawned, allowing you to complete the quest without having to heal any.

They're just very different games and it's pretty hard to pinpoint the differences

Usually playing the damage off spec is more efficient if you're solo questing and whatnot

not hi damage outside of burst cooldowns

You can set loot spec to disc

while your actual spec is shadow

the gear is gonna be really similar anyways

and yeah, pretty much all gearing will be the same outside of trinkets which MIGHT be different

even then, damage trinkets are meta for Disc
