Well yes and no. Yes you’ll have different experiences since some quests and areas are faction-exclusive, but no there’s no significant reason to pick one over the other besides preference

Your faction will determine where you can go without being attacked, which quests you can do (and by extension the story you experience), and which players you can group with. If you already have friends playing this game, ask them which faction to choose.

1. Visit a riding trainer at level 30 or above
2. Make sure you are in a zone that allows flying in the first place. Some zones don't allow flying no matter what you do.
3. You can only fly in Zandalar and Kul Tiras after you complete a series of achievements that unlock flight. Many of those achievements require level 50 to get.

Nevertheless, wait until level 20, and use your Hearthstone to learn a faster land riding. You are not going to need flying if you are levelling in Zandalar. When you want to go back to Zandalar, you must find the Orgrimmar portal room. It's inside the southern city wall, close to where you first appeared in Orgrimmar after leaving Exile's Reach. Ask a guard for "Other continents" and they will mark it on your map (or look for the red globe icon on the map, at the southernmost portion of the city). Then take the portal back to Dazar'alor/Zandalar.

Or if you are afraid you won't be able to find it, don't use your Hearthstone, and instead take the portal to Orgrimmar from Dazar'alor. You will end up in the portal room and you will then definitely know how to get back to it after learning faster riding. @light oak

In my experience Shadowform is a "form"(like Druid forms) that you can turn on and off that gives you a 10% boost to spell damage, lets you cast special Shadow Priest spells like Devouring Plague, and will be canceled once you use healing spells

I don't think you have other pets to battle it, but you'd usually do it by right clicking it

If it is at start of shadowlands woth Jaina and the otjers, only the eye mobs will see it. Jaina will say "hold here" before you get too close to them. The eyes have a circle around them. If you get into that, they will see you and attack. You also have to talk to Jaina before you start moving the first time, so she activates her spell.

Also don't be in a team for that part - makes it bug.

Imbalance will always be a problem. Some people just gravitate because of numbers, looks, or locale. Just play whatever. But, to be frank if you want an easier time getting into your pug's and if you do decide to raid roll Horde.

I have Mechagon unlocked now and the achievement "The Mechagonian Threat" has been completed on my horde character. Why am I still not able to collect the Mechagnome allied race quest from the Stormwind Embassy, as outlined in the bluepost. I have even tried actually unlocking mechagon on one of my alliance characters that had already started in nazjatar, and i can actually get to mechagon on that character now, but still no allied race quest. Looking for some help.. I'm currently on the Quest "Repeat After Me" I go to the stones and read the text but nothing happens. I've only been able to knock out 2 of the 5 so far.. Any advice on what to do? I've tried jumping around to other stones and nothing happens there either. I've completed Echo of the Hero Slain and Echo of the Magus Slain

You can always come back to them

You should have some quest markers on your map, just go to those

I updated the addon and did /reload in my game

(fyi I went from 500 to 800 yesterday, so it could just be taking a while)

@heady viper Having the raider io client open (the application, not the website) can help update faster although there might still be some delay between updates

It's not always instant that your score/best runs will correctly reflect your progress since rio takes some time to update anyways
