Like, I've never done dungeons yet tanking (just finished both layer 3's of Torghast though), and having the adventure guide feels helpful to see what to do in specific dungeons, but random queueing feels super stressful since I don't know exactly what I'm getting into

Definitely overthinking it. It's just a game. If you die to something, learn how you died and then avoid it next time. As long as you're looking up mechanics, doing your best to learn your class and spec, and just do your best then you can't go wrong
And if someone has nasty shit to say about it, whatever. What're they gonna do, block you or leave the group because a human made a mistake?

i know i'm late responding to this, but it's still worth responding to: i recommend doing the dungeons as DPS or heals first to get an idea of what's going on. It takes longer this way but I just don't think it's worth the stress of trying to jump right in unless you've got thick skin.
SL dungeons are not forgiving of mistakes currently, either

The quest doesn't progress unless you kill all of the ghosts at the same time. The first wave is two kills at once. The second is three ghosts at once but they cast a bone armor that you can't break through quickly enough to even burst them down all at once.

@pallid fulcrum how bout pockets? Seems like you are dropping some there. The problem with this kind of error is that if only 2 people experience it it's pretty hard to pinpoint the whys. And usually it's all other games are fine but wow isntt and you call the isp and they fucked up with ports.

@flint whale Yeah you should be able to play, especially solo, provided you are patient enough. At this point SSD is so much recommended, that Blizzard almost put SSD in the minimum requirements for Shadowlands, but later changed it for an HDD.

If you're looking for a tankier pet then tenacity is not the way to go
For beast mastery hunters the best tanky pet for solo content will be clefthooves, with scalehides being the best tanky pet for marksman and survival hunters

@burnt meadow sometimes it might take a minute for a new account to be fully upgraded from starter edition to full. Sometimes an hour, sometimes a day. Just log out and back in again every so often to refresh it. It's also server maintenance day so it might take a minute until servers come back up

Yo im pretty new to wow, so ive been watching videos about different keybinds etc. So I bound my A and D to strafe left/right and need to bind my Move and Steer to for example Mouse 1 or 2. This is where im having a problem. For some reason the game is not allowing me to bind Mouse 1 or Mouse 2 to any action and I dont know why.
I've looked it up and on the forums I only found one other guy talking about the issue. I've removed all addons (completetly deleted them too) and also reinstalled the game and is till doesnt work. Has anybody else every came accross this issue?

I'm on Azgalor. You can log in, see the realm. When you try to log into your selected character the load bar hangs at 75% for 3 minutes and then gives a "realm is not online" error.

Why can't I find a guild whenever I look on the guild page in this server it's all these different realms yet I'm on the newcomer realm is there a way to change so I can find friends?

What I do is, take the Tram to Ironforge and just go by road to Arathi and then slip into Hinterlands, make way for Aerie Peak, slip behind Durnehold and then ride West to sneak finally into Silverpine. Or, ask a mage for a portal to Dalaran crater
