Looking to use my boost on one, havenβt had a max level caster since MoP.
Itβs mostly for fun and gold farming in old raids, such as Legion.
I am edging towards Warlock so my pet can take the damage and I can do high DPS, but I have a level 96 Warlock already so I am hesitant to use the boost on him.

That was a feature exclusive to Legion. Now artifacts are more like ordinary weapons, but upgraded by slotting in relics. You will replace it when you go to Kul Turas or Zandalar.

I did about a months worth of quests before I got to exalted. It is faster now with Darkmoon Faire up. Also, don't know if they buffed or nerfed the rep for Rustbolt or not. I was also kind of casual there. You can also complete some of the blueprints to get reputation with them too.

I'm playing a Protection Paladin tank, been playing for about 10 days now, super new to the game. I understand how to do dungeons, dragging and agro and stuff, but I still kind of suck and I'm trying to get better.
But simultaneously I want to start raiding, and I was wondering if there is anything I need to know about raiding vs dungeons and how they work separately, other than harder and more people

For prot paladin, it's important to keep mitagation on yourself as much as possible (shield of the righteous)
In Dungeons, you'll be face tanking everything and you'll be relying on your healer more. In raids, you will need to be able to swap aggro with a second tank (tank swap mechanics on bosses, such as stacking vulnerability on main target), but healing will be much more steady

Okay so I am very new to WoW and confused with the leveling system. So when I start the game, the quest I do is apart of the main game if I am correct. So once I reach level 60 I will be directed to Northwend and start the lich king expansion questline until I reach 70 and so forth with every expansion. I am confused by which areas and what quest I should take up until 60. Should I do every quest I see? Should I go to a certain area and level until 60? Should I follow the adventure guide? Also I was wondering as soon as I hit level 60 will I no longer be advised to do the main game quest and will only be doing the previous expansions questline? Thank you in advance for answering!

Base game is 1-60, Northrend/Outland is 60-80, Cataclysm/Pandaria is 80-90, Draenor is 90-100, Broken Isles are 100-110, Kul Tiras/Zandalar are 110-120
Follow the adventure guide, find zones you think look cool. Once you hit cap for an expansion move on as quests stop giving good xp when you pass the level of the xpac

Don't even have to touch World Quests, other than them being a good source for Reputation, War Resources, Gold, Azerite Power, and possible gear. Plus when you hit Exalted with the various factions, continuing to increase your reputation will eventually reward you with Paragon chests that contain Gold, Azerite Power etc.

Hell, now that you're at max level you can easily go back and solo most of the stuff up to the previous expansion pack, for gold, transmog gear etc. You just need to get better geared at 120 to start soloing the Legion raids, but every expansion up to Legion can be soloed at 120 with no problems at all.

In Boralus, there are 2 large boats side-by-side. One of them has the NPCs involved in the War Campaign, and you should've gotten a quest already at 110 to start the campaign.

Campaign storyline (for BFA, this is the War Campaign)
Between that, you also have side quests that aren't part of the main "zone storyline", world quests etc.

Flying takes a bit of effort to unlock. One requirement being... Complete the War Campaign! And bunch of Reputation grinds, full zone exploration and complete zone storylines.

Yeah, the earlier pre-Draenor expansions had a fairly simple, "Go to vendor, buy training" to unlock Flying. Later expansions are a bit more involved.
Not hard... just tedious. But the good thing being, once you unlock flying in an expansion, it's unlocked for all characters.

So keep doing the War Campaign, and complete the Zone questlines. Reputations will almost certainly be Revered by that time (or do World Quests to gain more reputation along the way). And fully explore the various zones.
It's a bit of slog, but you'll get flying unlocked eventually π

Up to you. While Tanks generally deal less damage, you are also capable of withstanding more damage, and thus could take on more enemies at a time. Plus tanks have a certain amount of self-heal abilities.

If you are a Plate-wearer, you can add Plate-gear to your transmog list. You can't add armortypes you can't wear, or shouldn't wear. A Plate-wearer can technically use all armor types, but only Plate can be added as transmog. Likewise for Cloth-wearers only adding Cloth-gear etc

When you click the button to leave the instance group on your minimap, there should be two options βTeleport to instance entranceβ and βLeave entrance groupβ just click teleport to entrance and you should be able to find the quest givers :))

reaching specific lvl caps will lead you to the new expacs/has you choose where to go, you will get a notice once you reach one of those caps, you can also visit the info board thing in orgrimmar/stormwind on your own to point you to some zones you can quest in, all zones in an expac/that specific lvl range it is intended for scale to you tho, so you can go where you like most of the time
