You can see all the different versions and how they are listed as unavailable except one. Because those are no longer available.

That is the result of Blizz shuffling around the flagging system.
You see that the versions with the heroic, mythic, etc. tag are all with a different item ID.

But then Blizz wanted to scale items and would need to scale six items individually.
So they decided to retire that system and merge it into a single item with different flags. The item will then scale based on the flag.
So the item that you will loot nowadays is the first one and the versions are the ones shown under versions. The other versions are then stuff like "Mythic Heroic" with a heroic base item and a mythic flag.

However, none of that matters for the item ingame. That can have whatever model they attach to it.

Is anyone having extreme difficulty with Legion Remix having TONS of bugs? Almost everything seems to be bugged out, requiring reloading or abandoning the quests and whatnot. I'm now trying to do the Illidian flashbacks, like the one at Black Rook Hold, and it won't let me progress.

Anyone running into queueing issues on retail and/or legion remix? So far today, on retail, I wasn't able to warp into an instance (wasn't auto warp in, nor could i enter it), and on legion remix, the legion assault queue would not actual trigger (there were a few people just standing around, weaiting)

the legion assault timer is horribly wrong, just invite people standing there get 2 others and the queue will go beats sitting around for half an hour for the auto group feature

That’s a good question, I don’t think you can start another artifact weapon quest line until you finish the one you started. I’m actually surprised the game even let you abandon any part of the quest chain

You get one from completing a research quest. Maximum of three. Needs 150 research done.

There is a free reroll option on Eternus and the quests shuffle every few completed quests as well.

The rng is all over the place. I destroyed 40 pieces of gear yesterday on my DH and got 3 sand

If gear is useless from the normal cache at the end of a quest, then they should award you with sand or something else. Not useless gear that takes up space

By that i mean once you're level 80 and the cache boxes are awarding gear 10ilvl lower, that kind of thing

Using the "combine 10" gems keeps getting me the exact item slots so im not gearing that way. I don't need 5 pairs of gloves

You can get 3 (4?) coffer keys from weekly chests but you can also get the shards from world quests and the world soul activity, if you’re going for undercoins iirc that chest is the best way to get them

Tier Pieces are generally locked to each class, with most tier pieces having what is called "Offpieces" which match the Tier look but are usable by everyone for that armor class. However, if you played Mists of Pandaria Remix or you're playing Legion Remix, you can (and IMO should) buy every tier set for 30 000/20 000 Bronze, that allows you to use those Tier Sets on any class within that Armor Class.

For example, me, I have my Warrior set up in the Emerald Nightmare/Nighthold Paladin Set, my Death Knight in the Warrior Set and my Paladin in the Death Knight set.

but quests on your world map, sometimes they offer gold, you should do those. usually 2-3 mins of work for 800-1k gold

If you're trying to level through really old content you will have the issue where the quests aren't marked like this

Your quest log should also have a section that says “go here and do this quest to continue the campaign”

Maybe there are still random draws for it but otherwise it's more an easy addition to the epic version and people are guaranteed to get in.

There’s nothing that I know of currently that functions that way, either it gives you a flat % added to your crit through a talent or proc effect OR gives you flat crit value that increases your natural crit rating.

Talents will tell you the flat % it is increasing, gear will say things like 2367 crit

That number gets factored into your calculations for your crit, the other one is just a flat percentage

Percentages from rating are subject to DR and also just go up. They translate into percentages.

That's what the sim is already taking care of.
Since every item has a selection of stats, it will run a few rounds with each and check what performs better under the set conditions.

The challenge is more in identifying when you want to use which type of spec and which sim.
So the regular sim is for pure single target but most encounters won't be.

Reading logs helps in understanding what other players are choosing to do and where you have gaps in your own rotation.

Nah, the sim just takes the numbers from one gear combination and sticks them into the model.
Runs the model a few thousand times to get a good average, then swaps to the next gear set.

Then it lists which combination performed better.
What it can't tell you, is when a situation leans more into ST or when you need to cleave and potentially don't want ST gear.

There are a million things you can check, you have damage composition, timelines of ability usage, buff uptime, etc.
Doing that for your own logs can help you in figuring out where you can push more. Do your CDs align, are performing your rotation, do you maximise CD usage and dozens more.

That means if the target is in execute range and you have 20 rage, it is usable.
You press it and it consumes all 20 rage.
If you have 30 rage and you press it, it consumes all 30.
If you have 50 rage, it consumes the max of 40 for the highest bonus.

Since the proc makes it free, it will never consume rage. It would therefore not do anything.
The talent pretends it is spending the maximum of 40 though.

As for the PPM page, there is no universal page and it's just from going through the original abilities if they have it.
Here you can see how the ability is underlined. That means there is a proc or something else associated with it.
Those will often show PPM.

As it’s something that would be really useful for a different trait that I have for Sudden Death. First would be to look up the talent/ability/spell/... on wowhead. Then if it's not showing it directly (often the case), you see if you can click on the text of the ability to get the underlying buff or tacking ability.
If that isn't there, you can check ingame, if there is a buff or anything related to it (or check the class guide, if it says anything). Then look that up.
Then there is a chance nothing is there and it's hard to know, that's where you would check the class discords as that must have come up before.

Well, PPM or rather the newer RPPM just average the proc chance over a time frame.

So if it is 1.7 procs per minute, then over a larger data set, you will see that amount of procs.
Some will be back to back, while others are spread out.

Your haste is just a multiplier. So at best, you get to double the amount of procs but realistically it's between 25 to 50% more.

Usually just running around the same area is fine. You can look up things on wowhead and the like, use an addon, etc.

In the end there are dozens of ways to get to max. In the latest expansion, there is a value in completing all or most zones as it could unlock relevant dailies, reputations, etc. Think Klaxxi, Tillers.

After hitting max and if you are bored, you can go back and complete low level quests for completion.

Complex question: On live the achievement 'Raise An Army' is all lumped into a single warband achievement. No way to tell which individual characters youve completed it on. On Beta, its all parsed out by class and a requirement to be able to buy class decor. So how do you tell which characters are done with it? You "only" need 20 of them right? And you get them by doing raids? Sounds to me like you should check the Groupfinder for Raid Groups.
Just sign up for some of those. The raids seem to be on a daily lockout in remix (havent played much remix myself) so you can do each of the 3 difficulties once per day. Mythic sounds a bit ambitious tho but again i havent played much remix so it might be easier than i think it is.

Remix is in fact a daily lockout, two runs of mythic is all it takes, and it’s super easy, if you can’t get into people’s groups just make your own, you don’t need a full group of 740/high vers people to clear it

K3ksKuchen, thank you! Just to clarify, are you saying the group finder for raid groups (LFG, I think?) within the WoW interface? My understanding is in Legion Remix, the Everflame of Hatred can only be obtained by doing the full raid with a group, or solo. I used the group finder to go in for the raid that included Aggramar, who drops the item, and I never got anything doing it that way. I also tried to solo the whole raid which was a hilarious failure right out of the gate (I have 740 retribution paladin). So I just want to make sure I'm understanding what you're saying, I was hoping to find a way to connect with people who are doing raids who would let me join them. But I can't really do it in the group finder.

You get the item from killing aggramar, the amount depends on the difficulty 1-10
1 in lfr 3 in normal, 5 in heroic and 10 in mythic.

You don’t need to do the whole raid just aggramar

Actually tbf I can only confirm the 10 from mythic but that was the drop rates for essentially the same item from garrosh in mop remix

Sounds like you used the LFR (Looking for Raid) tool which is its own difficulty.
I mean the LFG (Looking for Group) Tool in which you can find various categories one of which being Raids.

you're getting different info because they changed it for heroic so people could more easily farm the mount, in heroic 1 stack is enough for them to explode, for normal and lfr you need 9 stacks before they explode, it's easy their frame and model changes to reflect exactly how many stacks they have, all you need to do is ensure you're not sent flying when deathwing spins and that those mobs explode near the next armored part

which ones are you talking about order resources or legion war supplies? the ORs you can freely transfer so you can just move them to a retail character now to make sure you wouldn't lose them. the legion war supplies idk. but that you can move one thing you likely aren't gonna see a currency wipe when they get moved off remix

I'm a returning player from MOP and have a strange question regarding the Dungenfinder:

I'm playing with four friends (All are Testing the game and only 1 has no subscription), but when we try to do the First Ruby Dungeon our Group gets splitt, and maybe one of us is in a Team, all the Other players get booted and are in no group.
We all have the same quest, and can enter the dungeon solo.

We have no clue why this happens, I had this Problem never, only now.

If you hit the hotkey i that will bring up the dungeon finder the click the arrow on the right side to get the pull down menu then you can choose the follower dungeon option

Have you tried profiles on edit menu. I have 3 profiles..one for my laptop, one for when I have a monitor plugged and other for the gaming pc. So I just switch profiles

Is Legion Remix broken? I just finished my first zone (Azsuna) on my first Legion Remix character. I'm at the order hall map trying to select the next strike point. I click the zone I want to choose, accept the quest to make that zone my next strike point... but it never advances the "choose your next strike point" quest and when I click on the map again it's like I never chose a zone.

Like you know when you click on one of the zones in the scouting report on the map, the map zooms in and a quest accept window pops up... so I hit Accept on that, but I don't get the "quest accepted" sound effect... and the "choose your next strike point" quest doesn't advance. And then when I click on the map again, the zone I just selected is still among the options of all the other zones I haven't done yet.

Hey y'all, still having trouble with picking my next zone to continue the campaign in Lemix. At the class hall map board, click the "!" on the zone I want to choose. Quest window pops up. Click accept. Quest window disappears but no "you just accepted a quest" sound plays and no new quest in my log, but the "!" on the zone I just supposedly accepted a quest for is gone. If I exit the map and click on it again though, the "!" for that zone is back.
