Any that can be a priest. All race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content. I'd recommend either going for the one you vibe with the most or has racial abilities that compliment your preferred playstyle or see yourself using frequently

check your trinket

and then uninstall hekili. People will usually advise against using this. people tend to rely on addons like these too much and its not good to just blindly throw out your rotation like you "learned" them through this addon. You should instead study the rotation guide, read the abilities texts and understand WHY you use them that way. Then you can apply the rotation with situational awareness.

i already said what you should do 👀 you can of course continue to use it if you want to but its generally advised against.
Its not that hard to memorize a rotation anyway. Read the guide on wowhead, try to apply it. once you get why the rotation is structured the way it is you will apply it naturally

Hekili will not teach you your specs rotation. It is programmed to have you best spam your abilities in a manner that does okay effectiveness. It will not show you what to do in on the fly situations, it will not teach you your proper rotation, trinket usage, CD usage, etc

To properly learn your class, a healthy mix of the Wowhead guide for your spec and going to your classes Discord, will net you a far better gameplay experience.

A little time investment will help you enjoy the game and your class/spec, much better.

Campaigns or "Main Story Quests" weren't a thing in wow for a very long time. i think it started with Wod? where we first got the questmarkers on a banner marking a sort of main story questline/campaign questline.

If you're having trouble finding where you are in quest chains, I highly recommend BtWQuests as a tracker addon (plus the Pandaria subaddon). Download both, turn them on in game, and it'll figure out what you've done and what's next (for the main quest lines per zone only)

So if someone says they're going to run "X content" it helps to differentiate what they are doing to another WoW player

Level 20 out of a max of 80 (currently). While yes, there is a tutorial island to help orient new players, you outlevel it at 10 and are sent to your main faction city (Stormwind or Orgrimmar), from there you are free to wander about Azeroth but you will be unable to level past 20. All race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content and the best one is going to be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most. Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Evokers are the only classes not recommended for new/inexperienced players solely because they lack a proper starting tutorial experience for the game itself. Experiment with different classes and specs until you find the playstyle that clicks with you the most.

Speak to Darion Mograine in your capital city and you'll be taken to the Frozen Throne and then The Maw. Don't leave until you complete the entire scenario and get to Oribos and create a portal back to your capital city

After doing the Maw intro to Shadowlands at least once, you can skip it on future characters by choosing a dialogue option instead

If you're playing a dps class, long wait times are standard. 45 mins is average for current content, so if you're doing Chromie Time, longer waits make sense. You can always type in the zone chat the dungeon is in to see if anyone else needs to run said dungeon, you may get responses that way

Dragonflight content is the default 10-70 content, so most people are queuing for those dungeons while leveling. The only time that really changes is during timewalking weeks, with that week's expansion having faster queue times (although even then they'll still tend to just be doing timewalking dungeons instead)

Go to the official tech support forum with a DxDiag to share, they can diagnose it--although the likely culprits are corrupt drivers, a bad install, or messed up permissions. To share a DxDiag do the following:

1. Press Windows Key + R

For Mythic dungeons for the current season, you must go to the pre-made group finder instead and check the dungeons tab and filter in the top right for what you want

You have no way to earn rep with that faction until you get to that zone, that's the only reason it appears as blocked, but if you could buy a rep token (one doesn't exist for this faction its just an exercise) you would automatically "unlock" them on that character even without stepping in the emerald dream

Melee hits in general are doing millions of dps, it's all just low level scaling. Lifestealing isn't an exploit, it's just an enchant that low levels (with insane scaling) can use. Elemental Force or any proc enchant at a low level does "millions of dps" when viewed from max level.

The enchant is working as intended. Maybe it could be scaled down from 30 damage a proc, but it is a PPM enchant, interacting with global abilities that hit enemies multiple times with your weapon. Because of how proc per minute enchants work, it takes your weapon speed into consideration to create a % chance of proccing per hit. Since whirlwind, for example, hits 6 times for each enemy in its vicinity, a 6ppm enchant uses this formula: 3.6 sec / 1 swing * 6 procs / 1 minute * 1 minute / 60 secs = .36 procs per swing. If you have an enchant that procs 30% the time you hit an enemy, and you have an ability that hits an unlimited amount of enemies 6 times (double if fury with two 3.6 speed weapons), and all of this is occuring on a character with an abnormal amount of scaling, you're going to get some crazy dps. None of this is an exploit. It's just math.

If you want an alt to get to Undermine only, you roll an alt, get them to lvl 70, talk to Jaina or Thrall (I don't remember which one) in Silithus to skip Dalaran intro, then level to 80 via any content you want and talk to Bran in Dornogal, he'll give you the "Something New on the Horizon" quest that skips leveling campaign on alts and opens up all endgame quests. Then open your log, see whatever quest chain starts the Undermine campaign and go there

Tl;dr you need to level an alt to 80, but you don't need to do the leveling campaign or high level season 1 campaign to start the Undermine chain.

PvE player here (with Mythic raid guild ). I use "few addons" compared with many players :

• Actionnator (simple Auction House addon. Or you can try TSM, but really big monster)

• Craftsim (to sim recipe in professions)

• Demodal (to open many UI windows in the same time and move them where you want)

• Dialogue UI (I take my time to read all quest, this addon is mandatory to have a clean UI in quest)

• Handy Notes and TomTom (to find some things in the world really fast)

• Faster Loot (to not see loot windows, just click on mobs and boom it's in your inventory)

• Bigwigs (all mechanics of bosses in raid) - or DBM

• Littlewigs (same, but for dungeons) - or DBM

• Weak Aura (you can do so much things with it)

• Details (track many things like dps, healing, death, damage ...)

• Simulation craft (sim your caracter with raidbot to know wich item is "better" or not)

• Mythic Dungeon Tool (for mythic+ routes), not really mandatory nowadays

I think my list can be a good "starter pack" for PvE and outdoor content players.
In Mythic raid, many (maybe all ?) guilds use "Method Raid Tool" to write notes (when to use CDs, who do what during boss, some automatizations with weak auras, ...), but it's useless before and when you are alone. Only Mythic Raid with good guild.

Hero classes have their own starting/intro zones (as opposed to the newbie island) because it's expected that the player already has a firm grasp on how WoW functions and is comfortable playing more than one role type

Found the "bug". Apparently if you go on an alt and insta clear the whole vision, zones + last boss. You don't get the achievement for Veteran Vendor. I just completed it again with only 2 zones and now its unlocked.

Enchanting and tailor atleast go together somewhat where as blacksmithing and Jewelcrafting leave you with having to have an alt with
Mining or buying your mats from the AH
