Sure, do WQs on them when they are up. It’s what I do and it’s little effort once they are set up

(Of course just the gold ones)

And also try and get 3 slots for vault on them too to take tokens each week for 3k more gold

Pile up doing some of the easier weekly quests you can get a decent chunk of gold per alt each week and that’s not even factoring in weekly chest procs and drops and vendoring trash/AH. of course there’s better ways but this is a passive sure fire way to earn some gold

Man it highly depends on what you want to do and some other things…
Paladin specs are overall solid in performance now… both tank in M+ and dps in raid
Priest is top healer in M+ as seen in last week re cap… shadow priest is pretty… ok… like if you like its effects and stile will be fine.
Affliction and destruction warlock are pretty fine this season both dps wise and utility wise… demonology is on the lower tier… but dps wise its pretty low… dont get me wrong it has same utility

By the time you're playing the high performance end content where any of that might matter will still only be for very specific mechanics--and you'll either be good enough at what you already play for it to not matter or you'll already know what's "best"

"Recently" was a bit of an exaggeration. I came back to WoW about a month and a half ago. I’m already familiar with what’s considered meta for both classes and races. However, my question specifically focuses on which class/spec/race has the highest single-target DPS on paper. Everywhere I look it up, I only find tier lists but no actual numbers or detailed comparisons.

I fully understand that everything is viable and that this mainly applies to top-end content, but that doesn’t change the core of my question. :)

Because what's numerically best depends on too many factors and there is no singular best at anything, ranging from fight to fight and team composition and buffs available and gear, etc

Tier lists are only going to show what's best in general for certain mechanics and need to be looked at with context. Because of this, the best advice is that the best will be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most. A good player on a "bad" spec will even outperform a bad player on a "good" spec

I'm trying to do the anniversary celebration crate collection to get the Detective achievement and I fucked up somehow because I went to the first crate in Zandalar before picking up the note since the wowhead guide showed where it was and did not expect that you had to pick up the note first and I opened the Conch "Gerald" and there's no crate and the Conch never closed it's mouth again and I did this fuck up yesterday and even tried to get myself phased to another server in different ways to no avail

Gonna piggyback on his question. I thought you could do old dungeons without chromie, you just didn’t get experience? So if I hit level (60?), I just can’t do old content at all?

You can, however you cannot use the LFG tool to find premade groups for specific older dungeons. You can make your own group and walk to the entrance and do the dungeon but no LFG tool that will make you a group and teleport you there

could anyone explain to me why I cant craft certain recipes to be tier 3 quality.
For some reason I can only hit tier 2 on some recipes and tier 3 does not even show up.

They're not being accurate. That option is only if you're under level 70. Chromie enables Chromie Time, which scales the chosen content 10-70 for the purposes of leveling and gives you a breadcrumb quest to start that content. The content is always available with or without Chromie Time.
If you want to get to the Broken Isles Dalaran from Legion and access the Dalaran Hearthstone you need to complete or skip the Legion expansion intro, which is available from choosing the Broken Shore quest off of any warboard/hero's call/warchief's command board. Alternatively you can take the portal to Azsuna in your capital city's portal room and then just fly to Dalaran (but this will not unlock the hearthstone)

Stuff like Skyriding, the new profession overhaul, more modern questing experience, etc

Don't use those leveling guides, especially the paid for with real money bullshit from Zygor. They're not for smart people or for people who want to actually learn what to do or how to play

There are multiple ways to go 10 to 70. Personally I'd recommend Dragonflight content since it's the most up to date gameplay content before TWW and is 10-70 by default. Chromie Time is fine for whatever else. The game doesn't need leveling guides like Zygor or any other nonsense like that--letting the game hold your hand and take you to the content intended for you is generally the best way to go

All the Dragonflight dragon mounts can do ride along with multiple people, I think up to 4 others (sorry if I’m just entirely wrong there, it’s been a while)

The main intended option is the Hivemind mount, which gets faster the more people in it (and is also the fastest flying mount) but the downside is you have to do a crazy long puzzle with 4 people and only those 4 people can hop in.

I don’t know if Hivemind gets a speed bonus with the new flying though.

I was just linking a java android app I been working on that allows you to play the PC client directly off your android using a version of wine/box64/dxvulkan built and compiled for AARCH64 ARM devices aka "android"

I only know how to solve this for you in a very geeky nerdy way lol as I don't use custom addons but I have made addons that interact with default blizz UI and custom UI.

My Fix would be find the "bar" window that is showing that you don't want shown and get its frame name.

Use this script paste in chat or as macro

Enter it in chat or use the macro when your cursor/mouse is over the "bar" or window you do not want shown.

Then you can use this macro or script to hide the frame UI element from view or from showing

Hi, this will be my third attempt at this beautiful game.

The first time, in Shadowlands, I played as a Frost Mage, but I was discouraged by how hard it was to get into any M+ groups, not to mention raids.

My second attempt was a few months ago at the start of the current expansion. This time, I wanted to be a useful healer. Unfortunately, it was much harder than I expected. I wasn’t able to manage cooldowns, the battlefield, my allies' health, and what they were doing all at the same time. Plus, the lack of mobility as a Priest meant I was almost always the last one to reach the fight.

Now I feel like trying again, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it or how long it would take me to learn healing properly. On the other hand, I don’t want to roll a new DPS just to find out they rank low on some tier list or that I have no experience on a key-tracking site, meaning I’ll end up looking for a dungeon group for three hours.

What would you recommend in this situation?

If you’re not pushing maximum difficulty content, you are pretty safe just ignoring tierlists for dps

@frail basin healing is really hard. You need to know the game, know addons to heal, all mechanics in fight, know tanks and dps defensives spells, predict people reactions and pay attention to your character. It's really really hard, even more if you are new to the game.
I recommend you to play dps and find a Guild. Not big tryhard Guild. Just people enjoy to do m+ and heroic raid. You don't need to touch mythic raid for now. Play what you want, every specs and class are cool to play at the beginning.

Every role can be learned at an entry level and the only real pressure is through social anxiety or pressures. I'd recommend joining a guild or active community and playing with a consistent group of people who are willing to help you learn

Random groups will assume you know what you're supposed to do and will treat you as such

Suggestion from someone who started recently but feels pretty experienced already in terms of game(near a year of experience) basically tier list can be thrown into a bin if it’s not on the edge of top of the top content. It shows that in right hands some specs are better than others because they use their full current potential. It doesn’t mean others are bad.
Trying healing? That’s good. We need such people! Learning such impactful role is hard. Don’t jump straight into mythic+ dungeons or even raids. Do some heroic or even normal dungeons. Start to feel comfortable with a spec. Learn your abilities through wowhead or other sites and helpful tips. Joins your specific class discord server(such as discord for priests. It’s shown on wowhead site) ask there tips and tricks. Learn what addons do and how they work. What you need to track but can’t see it. Ask guys there for much in depth answers. I’ve tried priest just for a mog. They were very friendly there(priest discord server)

Don’t be shy to ask, and don’t be discouraged if you fail or mistake

For a main you want the class you're better at playing and enjoy the most. It's different for every player, and warrior and paladin are two different classes with very different specs that play differently, and different players will enjoy them for different reasons. I'd also recommend choosing a class with specs other than the one you're prioritizing that you also enjoy playing, for occasional variety

It's not really an OR situatioan, given that the Algari Missive (there are one for every possible combination of Crit, Haste, Haste and Vers) are simply to guarantee the items Secondary Stats (rather than letting them be randomized upon crafting), while the other one is an (optional) additional empowerment, that is further limited in that a player can only have 2 Embellished items equiped at any time.

"Same" nickname, turn around at the same time to fight monsters ... With 2 hand and 2 keyboard and 2 pc, you can't move and use spell on more than 2 character at the same time. Automation of this process with any kind of software is bannable.

Having played both (actively), WoW has a much more expansive list of collections. I also find the WoW Collections to be much more navigable and easier to figure out than the GW2 Wardrobe. Sure, you have more customization control over the options available in GW2 with things like dyes and embellishments, but WoW has significantly more options available to choose from across its 20 years of content

Just think that WoW is 20 years old and since MOP the game was made to have a lot of content based on collection, started during TLK (by including the first mount collection) and improving each extension to be more focused on "global collection"
That's good qualities of life added to the game by sharing transmog, even not of the same armor type (like you can farm clothes on your pal) etc
So I didn't really played GW2 unlike the 1 but for WoW I can say that:

• 20 years of content
• What do you want to collect? Do all quests, achievements, secrets, mounts, pet, transmogs of one type, all type, etc You would need years to do everything
• A lot of tools to help you, with addons, communities and ingame tools (like sharing reputation for DF / TWW, sharing achievements etc)
• A lot of contents (again, 20 years old)

So yes, WoW give you ease of access to everything, you have a huge community still farming old content, so you can always find people to do legacy contents
The game is not perfect, but you can easily farm and collect when you're bored or make it your full time gameplay on WoW

Also the game have a good balance between RNG and "skills"
Most of the collection can be easily achieved by just playing "sometimes"
And lot of RNG things like mounts don't take 15h per day to farm, ICC can be made in 10 - 15 min, max 30
So it's more about "how lucky are you" than "You will need to spend 10h per day to farm a mount"

Prot warrior-> small number of buttons, press and survive. Pretty flexible but less tanky vs magic damage
Blood dk->basically tank press one button and go back to full health, good challenge but might be stressful for someone who is not used to constant big loses of health to heal it back by yourself… ah also… probably the slowest
Prot pala->a lot of kicks, a lot of shields and negating damage… but very priority rotation… basically if you have 2 abilities ready to press you need to remember which is higher in priority.
Guardian Druid->press one button tank everything and don’t care. Literally 4 button rotation or so. Very easy, very chill and very customisable bear skins
Vengeance DH->jump around with fire? Vomit fire? A lot of evasion, leech. Not really that hard to begin with, hard to master at its peak. Very fast, mobile and pretty good at keeping aggro.
Brew monk->hardest of the all. Too much buttons and passives to check around… and you need all of them to do rotation wise well… there is a very big difference between normal brew and very good brew… it’s like earth and the sky… hard to learn and even harder to master. But worth it
So yeah, as gum said… play and try whatever you want. It doesn’t matter if a spec is meta or not, if it’s best or not. If you like it, it will work in all types of content… because meta and best class/spec are meant only for top 0.1% of players who are at the top of the top of all leaderboards, they race for minimal percents of better

I was always told Brew was the hardest so when I started tanking, I started with Brew. After trying the others, Brew is just as easy as the others.

I think a lot of Brews issues (imo) is the Blizzard UI for stagger being pretty terrible. The fact you have to get an add on to play the class effectively already nerfs it out of the gate to being friendly to learn.
