Hello! I'm currently a level 69 Druid (272 ilvl) trying to get to 70 in Azure span but I'm finding combat to be pretty punishing unlike how it was a couple levels ago. Should I be trying to get some better gear from a vendor or something or just try and power through to level 70?

Focus on gearing after 70. Quest and world quest rewards and normal dungeons will get you started, followed by weekly events and heroic dungeons and the first LFR wing available at the moment. From there on it's a matter of farming the currencies to upgrade your gear, doing the 10.2 Guardians of the Dream content, and continuing your progression from that point

But yes, just power through to 70 for now

Honestly my issue is more that I'm finding it difficult to even get to 70 at this point. Most of the mobs I pull even if one at a time almost kill me. I dont think I'm that bad at playing this class so my gear seems pretty low for this area right now.

i don't think there is any for normal raid, just what you get anyone to invite you with. i've seen raid groups asking for 440 ilvl before though. LFR is 424 required.

Hello, I need serious help with something. Since on WOTLK Classic there are no addons to help you track Xmogs yet, I'm planning on doing an excel file to help myself on tracking xmogs of all the BoEs in the game. I use https://www.wowhead.com/transmog as the data resource.
The problem with this is that doing tables, 1 per 1 for each BoE set (like Exalted plate, Alabaster plate, Glorius set, etc) it's very time consuming, so I wanted to ask if there's a functionality in wowhead to import data and transform it into a table

You're not forced to do either, that NPC set and phase only starts if you chose the Broken Shore intro, and you don't even need to do the content since there's a dialogue option to skip it anyway. So something you did started the Legion content intro. Just talk to the orc on his wolf out front and choose to skip it and it all goes away

Default WoD phase for Blasted Lands and default BFA phase for Silithus/Darkshore are super annoying too. Especially considering you can be in the pre-WoD phase of Blasted Lands but that only applies INSIDE the zone, not if you leave it / fly in from another zone. Even if I'm in the Cata phase of BL, if I take a flightpath from Swamp of Sorrows, it only shows me "Shattered Landing" but then I get off the path there and none of the WoD phase NPCs are there. Just terrible implementation.

I guess I'll just ignore PB entirely and take my 150 alts to Caverns of Time for the free XP, which is also time-consuming but at least I'm in control the whole way.

"Fun" and "cool" are subjective and different players like different classes and different playstyles for different reasons. All race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content and the best one is going to be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most

Demon Hunters are generally not recommended for new or inexperienced players like Death Knights and Evokers only because they have their own unique starting zones and lack a proper starting tutorial experience for the game itself and may not guide you towards recommended leveling content

Keep in mind that Chromie doesn't actually "start campaigns." Each expansion has multiple campaigns in its content, and the bulk of what you're experiencing are just leveling/introduction zones. What Chromie Time does is scale that content 10-60 for the purposes of leveling and let you queue for its dungeons while leveling and points you in the right direction. All of the various expansion content and campaigns are still in the game with or without Chromie Time.

Not from the board itself, but an NPC standing next to it

To be fair, at character creation by default you're supposed to be sent to the Exile's Reach starting tutorial zone for leveling, where you would have been directed to content appropriately. Even choosing the Exile's Reach starting zone at character creation is an objectively better starting experience for your character than one of the old racial starting zones, as most of those date all the way back to the Cataclysm expansion in age

You've always needed to own the current expansion in order to play the current expansion. That's how it's been since expansions. Recent trends occasionally have the current expansion bundled into a preorder for the next, such as the current promotion for The War Within, or become rolled into the sub during the pre-patch period before the next expansion launch. iirc, Shadowlands was added into the base subscription perhaps 3 months early, or perhaps there was some other free offer at the time, but you've always still needed to own the current expansion some way

yep, you can chose how to continue, you can continue the main campaign and just follow that, do some worldevents or just get to the Emerald Dream for the latest content, but you get flightstones and crests from everything you do (worldquests, public events, campaign...)

the highest ilvl drops from Emerald Dream stuff ofcourse, but at your iLvl you will find something from everywhere at the moment

you earn them relative fast, but at your iLvl you can throw them all out very fast to, so you might want to use them on some better gear, but you will notice you will get to the cap sooner than later and have to use them or your just lose them

Base attribute stats arguably matter more. Pick based on which attributes help you (your spec) the most.

As you near the end game, base attributes won’t vary as much, and enhancements will matter more.

But as you progress, always take gear with better attributes, this will be a standard power gain for you.

there is a quest at the encampment that gave you 2 at the start and then the 3th splinter you get from the guardians of the dream weekly quest to get 1500 rep

and so you get one each week from that weekly quest, so 1 complete one every 2 weeks

Retail: for everyone who has massive FPS drops (complete freeze at a bosses' pull) in Amirdrassil (like me) - do you also have the phenomenon that this does not occure in LFR? Steady 60+ FPS, with our normal raidgroup, we have 8-10 people, me included, who get like a 30s freeze (0 fps) and then the game slowly recovers, but not above 15 fps - everything we found on the interwebz (update GPU drivers, clear out old WAs / addons, reduce/alter all the ingame graphics settings...) didnt help jackshit. They level locked. It's called a twink character. Low levels have really odd scaling and can get super good gear, especially from Warlords of Draenor.

Believe me, they can solo those dungeons.

if you provide all mats, that sure is ok, maybe if it's a very rare recipe or something, but you can always try and put it on and see if someone wants to craft it

if you don't provide all mats you at least look the prices up on AH and see that they are covered, or not many people will be inclined to craft it

or with some cheaper matprices, since crafters usually get the mats themselves, so it's cheaper for them

So basically my first theory worked which was to turn in some of the stormsong quests and then go back and the map and see if I could interact with it and it worked because I could interact with it again :D

Very glad because that means I don't have to do stormsong all by myself lol

ah, if you joined trough looking for group, you can rightclic the dungeon-eye and "leave instance"

if you are there in a custommade group or on your own, at the end is mostly someone to teleport you to the entrance, if not, walk, or use hearthstone

Starting the Dragonflight Story

You will need to be at least level 58 to start the Dragonflight quests. When you reach this level (or the first time you log into a character who is level 58 or above), you will automatically receive the first quest in the chain.

but i read i can start on 58 ? :S
