Clear cache. It's working fine as far as I can tell. Might also be a browser extension causing a problem. Try disabling any you're using.

Ah... uh uninstalling elvui is pain since they set all sorts of things.
You can try renaming the WTF folter (this will reset ALL addon settings) and see if that turns the option back on

Sort of? the issue is that a piece or a couple of pieces drop from different dungeons, as you're expected to be running all dungeons within an expansion as you're leveling. So Better Wardrobe & Transmog will show you the complete set, but it'll be listed as "[Name of Expansion] Dungeon Set"

Again, the Communities tab (J). It has a guild finder option, which you can filter to your needs. You can check the various Retail guild channels on this Discord, or check the official WoW forums by finding the section for the server you play on, then see what guilds are advertising. You can also watch in-game chat channels to see who advertises there

That's all up to you imo, i wouldn't upgrade to quickly at the start, since you probably get better gear fast, so you waste some of your stuff, but upgrading gear back to the level your previous piece was, is cheaper anyway. But you can always be unlucky to just get a new piece for something you just upgraded

Retail will have the more modern gaming experience, and a proper starting tutorial experience for the game itself. You won't need to get Dragonflight until you're level 60, so don't worry about that, and if you get the pre-order for the next expansion it automatically includes Dragonflight

I'm a little confused. I tried to skip the Shadowlands campaign on a recently boosted character, so that I could go straight to chosing a covenant. I started playing WoW after the release of Dragonflight, and I've skipped the Shadowlands campaign with multiple characters after I went through the whole campaign with my first ever character.

What I'm confused about is that when I tried to do it with my boosted character, the option to skip the whole campaign like before wasn't available anymore. After some searches online and one support ticket to confirm, I found out that the option to skip was supposedly removed after the launch of Dragonflight. But how have I been able to skip it before then? Before this character I did it with another boosted character just a month prior.

The ticket system has been laughably overwhelmed for years now, so expecting a response prior to the 72 hour mark is unrealistic. I'm glad that you've used multiple avenues for visibility about your issue, but unfortunately, it's just a waiting game as to if/when your issue is addressed

The only time you'll experience issues like you're describing on Full pop realms are maybe a short queue on major launch days, but the way map sharding works as long as it's a Normal realm and not an RP realm, overpopulated map shards split off into new map shards

Most horses tend not to be able to fly. You need to have a mount that is also capable of flying. If you look in the Mounts tab of your Collections window, you can filter mounts by type to make sure you're using the appropriately capable mount

I'm fairly new to the game. I got a lv 70 character (boosted) and I have done 4/7 Dragonflight chapters.

I am trying to aquire a pice of pvp armor from Zo'sorg, but he is not available to me in the area where he should be. I suppose I must play the SL campaign a bit so i can ,,unlock" him.

I tried to talk to Chromie, that NPC that can get you to other timelines, but when i try to select a timeline it automatically points me to Dragonflight - i suppose this happens cause i started that campaign but did not finish it yet.

Is there any way I can pause the Dragonflight campaign to start SL? Is there any other way around it? I saw that the item i want is dropable from a SL raid, but that raid is not available to me yet neither.

you dont have to select anything at chromie to play that content. all chromie does is to put you onto the path for starting a selected expansion and put you into a leveling phase where stuff gets scaled to make the selected expansion better to level in. its only available for alt characters that are level 10-60. Since you are over level 60 already its unavailable but like i said you dont need chromie time to play anything.

Or if you're doing the dungeon with at least 2 other people, they can summon you at the entrance with the summoning stone

1. Do not boost. Consider yourself a brand new player, do the work to learn a class from Level 1 to learn how it plays and memorize the rotation
2. Do not play a Hero Class (to start). They have their own starting zones & questlines and have slightly more complicated rotations, so they're not new player friendly
3. Do Exile's Reach for at least your next 3 characters to help you get into the swing of how WoW plays now, as it's drastically different to how WoW was when you originally played

M+ is a good way to get into more challanging stuff once you think you know how stuff works.

Ignore what Simi said. If you're questing you do NOT want a Tenacity pet like a bear or anything. As a beast mastery hunter your best pets for PvE content as a tanky pet, you optimally want a Clefthoof which is a Ferocity pet. Clefthooves have a powerful defensive cooldown that protects themselves from damage and have leech due to being Ferocity, in addition to their exotic pet family ability Blood of the Rhino that gives them even better healing and durability. Another good option would be a clefthoof, as they have a slightly less powerful defensive but also can cause damage to attacking enemies from their pet family ability

Tenacity pets are not good tanking pets, and not ideal for questing either. You want to use a Tenacity pet like a Spirit Beast ideally in raids or mythic+ for their defensive cooldown you can utilize, increased base health, and in the case of the Spirit Beast its on demand healing ability

Unless you need to be responsible for lust, then you bring a Ferocity pet again for their cooldown

The portal room is on the south end of the city, inside the front gate structure

WoW isn't like some other MMO's. Especially while you're leveling, treat every quest that rewards experience as essential. Especially when it comes to BFA content, what might seem like a skippable side quest can be tied to another more important questline later or unlock additional rewards and even types of gameplay content and systems

In many cases you may not even reach certain level barriers if you skip "non-essential" quests

But, for reference, quests that have a shield border like that are "campaign quests," but keep in mind even the quests between them can look like regular quest icons
