All race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content and the best one is going to be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most. I'd recommend trying out each healer until you find the one with the healing playstyle you personally enjoy the most, and then roll with that moving forward

Well that's the thing, they all can be considered easier than others depending on the player. For example; some players consider Holy Priest to be the go-to easy healer, but personally I found Mistweaver Monk simpler to learn and had a playstyle that had a fun rhthym to get into

holy priest is pretty much what you would expect from a generic healer character, and you can easily change to disc priest if you want to spice it up a little (you can go from the simplest to the more complex healing spec in the game, in my opinion of course)

Not for new players, as it does not start on the new player tutorial island. Every class except Death Knight, Demon Hunter and Evoker, starts on Exiles Reach, which will teach you the basics of that class you chose in character creation.

Death Knights, Demon Hunters and Wvokers all have their own special starting areas that do not teach you the basics of the class nor the game.

You left the level range of Shadowlands dungeons and are now in Dragonflight. You can form a group manually and run to do the dungeon or join a frien still below 60 who is also doing Shadowlands content but otherwise you won't be able to do them. The point? That's up to you. You chose to do Shadowlands Content for your own reasons, the game did not force you to do it as it's not the default lvling path.

no usually the weekly maintenance in the US is monday -> tuesday and EU is tuesday -> wednesday. if the realms are down at any other point its either an emergency maintenance or something else. you should always find something about it in the battle net launcher

It's not about difficulty, it's about lacking a proper starting tutorial experience for the game itself and these classes having their own starting zones that will not by default lead you to the relevant content for leveling and whatnot, and without the knowledge of what to do or where to go you can easily get lost

But, yes, both of those classes have one or two abilities that make you stand still. However, Demon Hunters are known for being one of the most mobile classes and can glide or double jump, and Death Knights while slow can be hard to lock down and are great at locking down or bringing enemies to themselves

I know whenever I return to any game after a long break, making a new character and going through the default starting experience until you get your footing is a wonderful place to start. If you make a new character (as long as it isn't a Death Knight, Demon Hunter, or Evoker) then you can choose to start in the Exile's Reach starting tutorial zone at character creation. If you follow that content and let the game hold your hand, you'll be reintroduced to the game and current systems gradually and even be guided towards relevant leveling content on your journey to level 60 and onward into Dragonflight content

Once you're playing the 10.2 Guardians of the Dream content and running normal and heroic dungeons at 70 in the meantime (once your ilvl is high enough to queue for heroics) will help and you can better focus on gearing progression. All three versions of WoW are included with an active subscription or gametime

I'm on Draenei, warlock quest, newbie. There's a quest called "Rescue the Survivors" where I need to use my '0' ability (Gift of the Naaru) to heal and rescue them but when I use this ability it heals them but they're still 'hurt' and not moving so I can't complete the quest....

I tried /reload, abandoning quest, restarting the whole game and it still doesn't work

You might be standing too far away for it to trigger the quest

You're on the right track! Pay attention to the quests and tutorials there on the Exile's Reach starting tutorial zone. Looking up on wowhead and google, it looks like the issue is with Rogue and Warlock draenei since their versions of the racial ability are not included in the quest itself yet to count towards completion. Honestly, I'd just remake the character and start in the Exile's Reach starting tutorial zone chosen at character creation instead. You can always go back to the draenei racial starting zone any time in the future if you want to play those quests after they're patched, as Azuremyst Isle is accessible later

Rogue and Warlock draenei are new additions to the game, and those quests in Ammen Vale are from all the way back in the Burning Crusade expansion

I would recommend that you and your friend make new characters of any other class and choose to start in Exile's Reach at character creation if given the option--although you will want to make sure that you and your friend are both either Alliance or Horde, as their questing experiences are different and separated from each other

Boosts tend to be best used on same class alts for other specs, races, or realms or for unlocking trial characters for those same reasons

i think you got some things mixed up. LFR = Looking for Raid. you are in the LFG = Looking for Group section tho. In the LFG section you are looking for premade groups do to content with. Mostly M+ dungeons. Heroic Dungeons are queued for which doesnt require a premade group. You queue for them via the "Dungeon Finder" which is the top option on the left side in your screenshot

For some reason, after using the booster to immediately get lvl 70 and gear, I was transferred to the dlc without any explanation of the story or a quest to start. Have I ruined the DLC's story passage this way?
I can no longer start the Dragonflight DLC from Stormwind normally.
Is there any way to start as I suppouse with prolog etc?

Not with that character, I believe. At least in the case of the quests assembling an expedition in your capital city and the first few quests reaching the Waking Shores. This is one of the many reasons why many in the community try to warn people that character boosts are recommended for alts, not when you're new to the content or haven't leveled that class to max before. Even experienced players can get overwhelmed

I'd just recommend leveling if you want to experience it proper. Leveling is faster and more efficient by default than it's ever been, and it's always a good idea to level a new character if it's been years or you don't know the content. You'll have a much better idea of what you're doing and a more involved learning experience that way, and be better served for it. Character boosts are unfortunately seen as a way to "catch up" when they're really best used for alts for people who already know what they're doing

I know people in competitive endgame content who only are able to put in a couple of hours maybe one day a week. You're overthinking it, and wanting to rush will give you a continually frustrating experience with more hiccups like wasting an entire character boost like you just did. I'm only saying what I'm saying from my experience with helping other players, and seeing other players with these same issues, and seeing the same patterns of behavior and incidents over and over and over again. Take that as you will

If you used that character boost on an allied race you wouldn't even be able to unlock their heritage armor

Boosts are best used in practice for alts that you just want to skip playing and bring straight to current content

The only ones that are NOT recommended are Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Evokers specifically because these "hero classes" have their own unique starting zones and lack access to the Exile's Reach starting tutorial zone and lack a learning experience for the game itself and may not bring you to recommended content.

You should get a quest from the leader of Sen'jin Village to ride to Razor Hill, especially if you already cleared out that small canyon and burned the Alliance attack plans. The wolf rider will be right by the entrance to the village, and he taxis you to Razor Hill. I've done the Durotar quests a few times lately for alt completion reasons, so I know the quests are there, you likely are just scanning instead of looking and have missed a quest icon over someone's head somewhere. At no point should you not have a quest available for that zone if you started there, Orc or Troll

Well there was a major content update three days ago, and many addons needed to be updated. You should get into the habit of regularly updating your addons between patches and even hotfixes

Fun is subjective and all race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content and the best one is going to be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most

You get more summons, yes, but you only summon one primary minion at a time. Demonology warlocks get tons of summons, even sending gangs of imps to explode at people, but those are all temporary

As a destro warlock you'll want to use your Voidwalker more than any other pet, as it is tanky and well help you with not dying

Wondering if Wowhead will cover the difficulties Mac gamers are having since a mandatory patch appeared in Battle.net on Thursday. Warcraft Mac Support forum has some people seeing success with certain file deletions and/or settings changes, but for some, nothing is working. Is it too much to hope the scheduled maintenance on Saturday 11/11 will fix this? Maybe. Anyway, wondering if any of y'all have heard anything? Guessing not? If there was a blue post in the tech support forum, we'd have seen it. And IDK if Wowhead covers this stuff anyway.

Either leave through the dungeon entrance, look around for an npc to talk to that sends you out, leave the instance group if it was a random dungeon, or use your hearthstone

It means the gear dropped. If you read the window that pops up it also shows who it dropped for. This makes it easier for players in a group to share loot with each other if someone gets something that would better help someone else

I play on the same realm so that I can still send mail between my cross-faction characters. Guilds and endgame instance groups are cross-faction now as well, so it's even less of a barrier

Yes, sometimes some players get something and sometimes some people get nothing. Loot has a random chance to drop for everyone

Crafting professions can actually be quite profitable since the rework with this expansion, but the benefit is more about the gear and consumables that you get from crafting more than the gold. Even high end competitive raid gear quality equipment can be crafted
