All race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content and the best one is going to be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most. Overall the differences between the classes population wise--at least back when population statistics were able to be gathered and shared the way they were before Blizzard changed how they share their API--was within single digit percents or fractions of percents. Your concern is thankfully a non-issue and nothing to concern yourself with, and only serves as an arbitrary limitation! 🙂

Classic it does make a bit of a bigger difference, Classic is significantly less tuned and balanced and the playerbase does tend to gravitate and rely upon the meta more dogmatically

Finish any incomplete quests such as Dragonflight's introduction/leveling storyline, unlock activities you haven't unlocked yet, and generally just let the game hold your hand and guide you where you need to go, introducing you to content as you quest onwards. Collect Dragonriding glyphs, level up professions, unlock and complete the Forbidden Reach and Zaralek Caverns, do all of your weekly quests from hubs like Valdrakken, world quests, dungeons, renown, queue for random raid wings in LFR or unranked arenas and battlegrounds, kill rares, kill world bosses...

But more important than anything else--join a guild or community that works well with you as a player

Raids are on a weekly timer, period. Mythic0 for dungeons is also weekly. Heroic is a daily lockout. Normal is 10x within the same hour, if you can complete the dungeon that quickly

If it occurs then it's a bug and if you report it the issue will be handled. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. I recently unlocked Undead heritage armor on a character that received a gear upgrade and experienced no issues, however I have also encountered players who have had an issue

For convenience's sake, it's best to refer to that as a gear upgrade because character boosts are a different service entirely

Dragonflight, as it's the only content that will scale 60-70. My advice would be to do your best to get caught up to current content, then you can go back and do old content whenever you want without worrying about falling behind

raids come (Usually) in 4 difficulties. LFR, Normal, Heroic and Mythic. Some Mounts/Skins are exclusive to one or more of those. LFR can be queued without a premade group from the LFG Window but only for current raids. Older raids should be easily solo'd tho for up to legion

When an ability "flashes" on your actionbars, all that means is that an ability has procced for use based off of some other ability or cooldown, but it doesn't always mean that using that ability right away is the best idea

I'd recommend reading your preferred spec's guide on wowhead.com and examine the Rotation and Abilities & Cooldowns sections of those guides for more information on your recommended ability priority usage

BUT I am plaing on shit laptop that cant download 92GB of retail, for me to be able to get to loading screen of characters and press the button to resub with token/gold.

I tried wotlk, but there is no option for resubing there....

Idk if there is a sulution to this... I know I dont need to dowload the 92GB to be able to "play" (launch) the game, but Bnet wont let me even start the download when I dont have enough space....

Based on the Game Master's input and comments, Reinforcing Revendreth is likely a no-go. As with many niché appearances in the game, this might simply be a matter of repetition and grind. The appearance should be available, but it'll probably take a while for the World Quest and the reward to align.

If you're in a dungeon instance you should be able to either leave the instance exit or right click your character portrait to select Leave Instance or Leave Instance Group. You could also use your hearthstone to take you to your bound location and then navigate back to Orgrimmar from there

If an item (any color) is used for a profession, on the tooltip somewhere it should say "crafting reagent". Keep those. In a few cases, there are gray items (eg: Dark Iron Baby Booties) that're needed in order to buy pets in Oribos. Largely, it's a matter of practice to know what's ok to sell and what should be kept. As always, Wowhead is your friend. If you're having to search every item you come across in the beginning, there's nothing wrong with that--you're learning

Server, realm...same difference. If you have someone on your friends list invite you, then your character is "pulled" to their server (provided you're within the same region like EU). You can purchase a server transfer if you really really want to be on the same server/guild as people you play with, making a new toon isn't strictly necessary

Like DR races unlock are accountwide so once you unlock those dailies they are available for all characters on your account and you don’t have to unlock them on each one. you generally dont take pve pieces and turn them into tier to use for pvp. the scaling ilv and different stats on pvp gear make it so it isnt used for pve (since its really only good in pvp), and pve gear doesnt have correct stats for pvp. pve trinkets are heavily nerfed for pvp

and m+ generally you can use the gear from raid for but it isnt required by any means unless youre giga min maxxing top 1% of playerbase

"You get it when pirates in 1k needles throw bottles at you, which happens pretty much every time you aggro one. Questing in that zone was completely infuriating and I'll never do it again, ever. There's a quest chain that requires you to run to the back of a pirate compound for every quest in the chain, meaning if you don't log out (which I think should cancel the effect) you're drunk constantly for at least 30 minutes. It's funny when it's once in a while, but damn. I'm pretty sure it's an anti AoE grinding mechanism.

Am I literraly the only one getting blasted when playing some quick match arena pvp. I am new, I really want to get into pvp after gearing up a bit, I am trying to learn the class, do everything atleast decent. But then a rogue just comes and don't ask me how, he just kills me in 2,5 seconds... I was actually shocked by that.

Any tips? I feel like this trial and error method is really burning me out and makes me want to reconsider playing augmentation evoker. Is quickplay just filled with geared out sweatlords? (Though I have to mention, I doubt I will win regardless of the class)

if you want to get a feel for the game for free, retail (the one on the left) is all you're gonna get - the other two require a paid susbcription to play. vanilla (right) and classic (middle) are older versions of the game that generally run at a slower pace with a higher emphasis on journeying and questing. they're all the "same" game, but really play quite differently and from what i know, they all have decently active communities. if you plan to get a sub, the one to play is up to what you want and expect from the game.

I am hoping someone can help. I last played WOW 2 years ago and it was on this laptop I am on now. Obviously lots of changes have happened since then. I got logged in today but all the trees, the people, the door signs, and even the little squirrels all look like static, kind of like if you put a TV on a channel with no service. You can see the color but its like they are electrified. I don't know if my computer just is no longer compatible with WOW or if there is a setting I should change. I am not real familiar with how to fix this.

yes it is a fresh install, however there could have been remannts from 2 years ago since my computer is not reformatted, just i had uninstalled the games that were on it prior

i'm not sure about the video driver, I let it run windows update when that is available though

yeah it just told me the best driver already installed

guess i'm going to be stuck playing one of my other MMOs lol at least the other ones run okay

Hey , I started playing wotlk 2 days ago as a ret Paladin and I see that you can "Unleash" the power of the seal and I cant understand how to properly use that skill , Up until now I just buff myself for 30m with the seal and run around with it which I assume is not the correct way to use it

Hi! I have a couple of friends whom have never played any MMO before and have showed interest in playing WoW. I haven't played myself since cata release so I was kinda put off by all the shenanigans that has happened in azeroth and the timetravelbs that's going on.

We have no interest in rushing to endgame and want to learn as much as we can about the games history during our playthrough and not get thrown into the beaches of the legion without any context.

Are there any guides or lists of zones and quests that we can follow to get a more proper leveling experience?

to answer your question about proper lvling exp, i would say, choose your zone and follow it until end, and then choose a new storychain for new zones.

I would recommend expansionzones from cata and newer. they have better quest design and quest experience if u ask me

If you're talking about the heirloom trinket from prepatch then no, you can't get that anymore. The Primal Storms ingame now are different, occur in the Dragon Isles, and are indicated on the zone maps with an icon and timer

it depends on your preference. imo pally does have some really good mogs, whereas I personally think hunters have trash tier sets usually. Just depends on what you personally like
