It isn't even 10% close to like, the actual expansion from that time

You just have another route to level through other zones but the difficulty for quite a lot of them is easier, and you're not doing their raids or endgame content because well, you're there to level

If you'd like to see how WoW really begun (and honestly, a lot of people like it better too), you can see classic WoW for yourself

But the point of retail is kinda just... get to the max level so you do the relevant stuff. Chromie time is nice but not really "experiencing other expansions"

Like again, levelling through them quicky =/= actually experiencing the endgame of the expansion from that time. Then you'd have to just play an older version, really. But if you're fine with levelling only then yeah.

(The cataclysm expansion basically revamped every possible thing from the original 2004 WoW world in terms of quests and zones)

So quite literally, don't expect you can go through 2004-2006 quests

Classic vanilla retains the even slower pace and mechanics.
Unsure if they still have a free transfer for characters to move to wrath servers.

So that comes out to:

~500k for the rest (armor, offhands, trinkets, etc).

For a Final total of about ~803k gold. Assuming no rep discounts.

I think you might be locked into it.
I remember there was something weird about this.

You could try to abandon the quest or maybe talk to Chromie if you're below level 60.
Check the load in point of oribos and see if youre greeted by a guy who let's you pick to go with the campaign or do whatever

Might need to just finish up Bastion and go back to oribos to pick

Yes. However, the heroic one seems to be as large as the mythic one as well, going off of google images and wowhead along with players in game. I linked both to trade chat and guild chat and every player I asked has stated that they're both the same size.

If you’re talking about the mount you just need to acquire the buff each week for 5 weeks and to get that you need to do 4 time walking dungeons each week. As long as you don’t let your buff expire you’ll get the mastery buff and you’ll get the mount.

As a fresh WoW player, it's generally recommended to avoid the Hero classes (DK, DH and Evo) until you've played a few of the "traditional" classes and find your footing (whether you prefer: caster vs melee; ranged vs in your face; tank vs dps vs healer). Avoid boosting a character when you're new, as you're cutting yourself off at the ankles of learning how to play a class

That's the thing. You don't. You might, you can. But you can also just sit in the capital city trading on Auction House. Or really get into Pet Battles. PvP, or something completely else.

But from PvE point-of-view. Yeah, you want to play PvE content so: dungeons and raids. And having equipment helps with that. As you get more equipment and you get better you try to play higher difficulties and you... get more loot, more equipment so on and so forth.

When a new expansion drops quickly new items from even basic quests are just better and everything pretty much resets.

hey guys. not sure if this is the right channel. but here goes nothing. this morning battle net login was down. so over the course of a couple of hours i tried to log in. since i just recently startet with wow again im not logged in on the authenticator app. so during my attempts to log into battle net i also tried to lgo into the authenticator. it was asking my for text message confirmation code which i received and entered - but always endet on a 502 bad gateway page. couple hours go by - and login seem to work again. however i now discover that i do not receive text messages any more (i imagine i have been temporarily blocked due to too many requests). however now im stuck in a circular system. i cant log in to battle net without confirming on the authencator app, and i cant log in there, since i dont receive text messages. also trying to remove the authenticator temporarily only gives me the option to verify via text message - which i dont receive. i have written a ticket - but thats almost 12hours ago and a) i havent heard or reached anyone and b) i still do not receive text messages. im locked out of my own account - verification via email doesnt seem to be an option. anyone has experience with that or a tip for me to resolve that?

It depends on which raid and which mount. Some mounts are on the loot table for the entire raid, some are only tied to specific bosses, some are tied to getting specific achievements, others are tied to bosses that don't look like the mount and vice versa, some mounts only drop on certain difficulties, and some mounts only drop when that content is live. It's much easier to answer your question for a specific mount instead of in general, as there are many sources for many mounts

look you are completly new to the game so you should stick to the usual new player path. That means finishing exiles reach -> Leveling up to 60 via Battle for Azeroth content (go straight into that. dont pick anything else up once you reach the capital city) and then go into dragonflight.

you can do all the other expansion content with new character afterwards via chromietime or level them up however you want but your first priority should be to catch up with the current content in the most straight forward way

Some different expansions can have weekly or daily gathering quests in their own respective expansion hubs, but I can't be sure if they count towards the trading post rewards

From a practicality standpoint, I'll choose a profession that makes the toon self-sufficient (Tailoring on a clothie, Leatherworking on a leather wearer, etc), but if you already have a toon with that going, then whatever profession interests you--just make sure to support it with a logical gathering profession (eg: Engineering needs Mining)

Wowhead is great for most inquiries, but some of playing WoW is "learn by doing". When I first started, I spent hours going around the major cities for my faction "talking" to every. single. NPC. to find out what their purpose was. I asked guards to direct me to the trainers, so I could learn for my own mental map. Turning tracking on for your minimap for things like mailboxes can also be helpful

I recommend taking advantage of the starter account free limits to try out the game and explore it a bit, trying out different races and classes until you pick which one you want to level and play as your "main" before committing. I understand that, but in general, I find it quite challenging to find people for these small events. It seems like not many players are interested in them unless there's a group dedicated to completing all the events at once, such as a 'Zaralek Rares Group.' I've noticed that despite Zaralek Caverns being a lovely area, it's relatively quiet, and the high HP of the rares and elites can make it very difficult, if not impossible, for a solo player to defeat them.

Yeah, even after two months of its release, Zaralek wasn't very active. I totally understand your point, and I've tried to suggest some ideas to the Community Council regarding these issues (especially some old achievements who require 10 people like tuskar harkoon) (how difficult it is for returning players to engage with the new content), but even then... the Classic Dragonflight areas have rares that are easier to solo than Zaralek Caverns! Haha!

You can if you're attuned to Shadowlands through Chromie Time, and only between levels 10-60, and you only unlock Chromie Time if you've leveled a character before. Otherwise you'll have to create your own custom group on the Group Finder tool or another method, and entering the dungeon entrance yourself

Those three classes have actual DPS specs. All classes in WoW has these things called Specializations, aka Sub-classes. The Paladin has Protection Spec which is a Tanking spec, Holy Spec which is a Healing spec and Retribution which in the FPD Spec
