I had that happening as well, this will open only on level 50, and it will begin from another quest sending you to some crystal dwarf

But it's anyways a waste of time, unless you want to do it for fun, it becomes useless once you get around two level ups and then the whole region is just not fit for your level anymore 🤷‍♂️ and the Azarite items will be quicly switched once you get to the dragonflight content

Most of the early game of WoW is just following through with quests anyway - learning your class and getting your bearings in the world.

I don't believe it's possible in the default UI, but there are plenty of addons that allow you to - MoveAny seems to be the most popular at the moment

@fresh sable no worries, I don't bother with it since I have bad eyes so even on my 43" TV when using it I'm scaling far enough it's not really an issue but I know folk that swear by it both for moving stuff and also for the fact it overrides the auto close behaviour of Blizz UI so you can have more windows open than normal

you can't any more, more than one of them is a Global Cooldown Action so it means that they can't be macro'd together to all be cast on one click of a key

heh, aye it's more from personal experience you can live without Abom on a lot of trash stuff but it can be handy for bursting down big groups

and aye, once it has an actual spell tooltip to show it'll show the CD for that spell

and since they're all 2 mins that's the CD for the whole macro unless you use something as a single spell on a nother bar

and also yeah, generally CDs are fine to use whenever outside endgame/boss fights as you're never usually having to line up a serious defensive vs a tank-killer or %age damage spell outside M+ and Raids these days

Not very high. Boosted characters only have gear that is equal to or roughly the same as gear from characters who leveled either questing or in dungeons. Not high enough to even queue for heroic dungeons, iirc

Sounds like pug problems. I'd recommend finding a dedicated group, guild, or community to run content with. All race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content and the best one is going to be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most. The meta is irrelevant for most content and by the time you're playing content where it is relevant, it still won't be relevant because you'll be proficient enough with your spec for it to not matter

most of your decent Gearing is still gonna be from farming M+/Raids even with the various catchup options

and yeah as Gumball says for high keys you're pretty much gonna have to lurk on RIO or get into a community or guild

if that doesn't apply @void warren then you have an issue either with latency in your connection, something hinky with your files and/or you're using an external/non-ssd drive to play from

I have a reasonably slow load compared to "stock blizz" but that's down to my addon load and expected for me and also not too bad anyway because I use an SSD plus a leased line ( so fast/low latency ), so it all depends just how heavy your addon load is and what you're actually loading from

Hey! So I recently got back into WoW and I haven't bought Dragonflight yet cause I want to just go through Shadowlands first. I have some quests for Shadowlands dungeons but I can't find the Shadowlands dungeon que in Group Finder? It only shows BfA and Dragonfight (which is locked). To my knowledge, A Flame Extinguished is just a quest you pick up outside the raid entrance. It then brings you through a scripted questline inside the raid and wraps the Embers of Neltharion story up.

I'd imagine so. However, as far as I remember A Flame Extinguished was about 15-20 minutes long after you pick it up outside Aberrus. To reiterate, in that quest, despite technically going into the raid you are not doing the actual raid. You enter with ||Wrathion||, ||Sabellian|| and ||Ebonhorn|| to tie up loose ends after the events of the raid. It's a solo piece of content.

To my knowledge this guide should still have the correct information. Short answer: no.

Ulduar, Siege of Orgrimmar and raids released in Warlords and Draenor and Legion can be completed multiple times on Normal and Heroic difficulty, although any consecutive kills in the same week won't reward any loot.

Every other raid from Vanilla, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria can only be completed once a week, due to the raid preventing a manual reset from occurring unless it's the Weekly Reset.

Queues should be cross-realm. As such it shouldn't matter, AFAIK. That said, your chosen faction might be dragging it out slightly. Depending on whether you're / queues might be shorter or longer.

There's something called "Mercenary Mode" for unranked Battlegrounds where you can take on a temporary buff and queue as the opposite faction. In my experience it has been max-level only, but doesn't have to be the case at all.

while correct in this case it's not always the case. a good way to remember it is if it's something that's tied to player power it needs to be supplied by you. otherwise the crafter can supply sometimes supply BoP items, but things like sparks of shadowflame/titan sparks/ crests need to be supplied by the character needing the item made.

because if not you could have a bunch of crafting alts and boost one character with their sparks.

From what I know, certain campaign progress and such does not transfer with a Faction Change - especially as far as Battle for Azeroth is concerned. That said, unless you've found a fix already it should be as simple as re-unlocking Zandalar -side with the start of the campaign in Orgrimmar.

In-game Consequences

- Your quest log is cleared: all your quests are abandoned and all quest items in your inventory are destroyed. If you want to complete a quest you had in progress prior to the faction change, you must visit the quest giver to pick up the quest again and start it over.
- Faction-specific questlines do not convert, specifically, the Battle for Azeroth War Campaign. If a questline unlocks certain game content, that content won’t be available in the new faction either (see Game Content Unlocks).

I feel like this is a pretty broad question but I am wanting to hop back into the game after a nice hiatus. Im a bit overwhelmed with the three options I have to play now, with the fourth coming (hardcore).

That being said does anyone have any recommendations? I routinely play alliance and usually on like wednesday mornings and then weekend nights. Im fine with hopping to a new server, switch factions, or whatever.

I'd recommend starting in retail and getting a feel for the modern state of the game, including the new starting experience and leveling system, until you're caught up with the current patch content. From there you can either work on progression, double back and do old content, or try out the more grindy and out of date versions of Classic

Currently in the modern state of retail you can also join endgame instance groups and even other guilds regardless of faction, as well

With the keyword being casual, I'd recommend retail specifically. At the same time ... while Classic is less (marginally perhaps, but still) punishing than the game was in 2004 onward, I'd argue that it's nonetheless likely to lead to some frustration having a limited schedule. Especially if one takes into account the hopes of finding a group to play with.

If nothing else, due to it often being considered the lesser in terms of time investment; try retail out and then move your way to the others if you want to ( ☝️ more or less echoing this ).

But most people are either in the capital cities or in current content, with the current expansion hub being Valdrakken in the Dragon Isles

Also, if it really has been since WoD that you've played, I definitely strongly recommend doing the new/returning/starting default player experience. Make your character in Exile's Reach 1-10, then let the game hold your hand to level 10-60 in the BFA leveling zones of Zandalar or Kul Tiras, then 60-70 in the Dragon Isles (with Dragonflight)

Worth is subjective, and if you're new/new to this expansion then the last thing you want to do is boost a character of a class you've never leveled before. There's a reason us regulars advice against it so often

And if you're not level 60 yet there's no real need to get the expansion

The basic edition is also all you need to play the expansion, and you can get the edition upgrades later

In what content? Under what context? Played at what level of parsing potential? Assuming what gear priority? Using what build? In what types of gameplay?

What's "best" is so incredibly situational and even the current meta depends of very specific circumstances and encounters

And everything changes patch-to-patch

The fact of the matter is, if you have to ask then you're not playing at the level or degree where it even matters--and once you are, you'll know the answer and the reasons as to why what works best where

So the best and most realistic answer for you is that the best spec with the highest dps is going to be the one you're better at playing and enjoy the most

Your race, class, and spec selection will not carry you. There is no "win" button.

If you read the Sub spec guide--linked in that guide--there is a section that explains all of your major abilities and cooldowns and what they do, as well as a section that describes and explains your ability and cooldown usage priority depending on what build you're using

Worth is subjective, so really it's up to you and your budget. That being said, while a longer sub bundle has a greater upfront cost the value is objectively less than what you'd pay overall

you should check out a rogue guide. Wowhead does have class/spec guides. Its probably not gonna help you much if you're still leveling but it should give you an idea of how a rogue is played

im new to wow and i dont undertand dungeons i was hoping to understand. When a boss is killed, a piece of lott pops up on screen that i can hover over and see. But i dont actually receive that item?

That reward tooltip pops up when notable gear drops, and will say who it dropped for. It will appear if anyone in that group gets that item.

This makes it easier for players who need/want certain rewards to know that the reward dropped, and opens the opportunity to trade with other players or roll for it

I’ve just come back to WoW since shadowlands (I know!) and I noticed that when I tried to click on a new toy to add it to my collection it wouldn’t work and also I tried to switch a piece of armour and instead of putting it in the gear slot it just stayed in my bag and greyed out and now I can’t do anything with it :/
