Race choice is a miniscule factor affecting your gameplay capability. Some races do work slightly better with certain classes (slightly more so in Classic) but if you're not concerned about finding the 1% more damage, it's best to pick what you like.

Quests will reward you with either equivalent gear or better gear.
You can also craft your own gear using professions, though that's not recommended while leveling because it takes time to gather materials, and you'll replace the gear soon anyway.
Or you could run dungeons via the Dungeon Finder for a chance to get dropped gear.

Log a different character and send your mage an in-game mail. It'll force a refresh of your character which sometimes can fix that sort of issue. Instead of having to wait for an automated refresh

Not really; everyone has different binds. A common bind though is to have abilities you need to use fast and easy on Q and E. You'll use mouse and A+D to strafe instead. That's a good start to get used to as soon as possible

Got another question.. Moving over from a VERY low pop server ( I was alliance on it) and made a new HORDE character on another server with high pop. My question is, is there a way I can send my gold over from 1 server to the other?

what i do for transferring gold is i will have a friend list a crafting reagent (anything region wide) on the server I want to the gold to and i "buy" that item on the server i want to transfer gold from so the gold is sent to them. once they receive the gold they send it to me. keep in mind try getting something cheap because you need to buy out all of the auctions before you can get to the most expensive one

so basically I have a macro to cast renewing mist to mouseover target, or if the mouseover is not friendly or no mouseover target it would cast on myself:

but the issue is that, if I have no no mouseover target, this macro won't cast on self. if I have mouseover target then this works fine
I have auto self cast on and self cast key set to none for now, it is still not working, have no idea how to fix this
in short, it only works to my mouseover target, so if I have target player A and mouseover player B, it will cast to player B, but if my mouse points to nothing and it won't cast and prompts me "No target"

not sure, most folk including me would probably suggest either a double gather till 70 for the xp and building up mats, or a gather plus one crafting that matches your class
so for mage either mine/herb or tailoring ( make your own "armour" ) + one gather would be an example
capping is more important than getting prof levells up since everything is easier at max since you have full talent trees to use

Chromie is restricted for level 10-60 only. Once you hit 60, Chromie is disabled.
In order to get to Shadowlands you'll have to get there "manually", i.e. use the portal in Stormwind/Orgrimmar.

So I am going to ask here and see if anyone else is having this issue or has had it because I am at my whits end with this.
Rig: NVIDIA 2060 RTX
Anytime I play wow, (keep in mind this ONLY happens on WoW I play COD, Godfall, Destiny 2, Elden Ring, Etc with ZERO ISSUES) my whole computer freezes up at random points and WoW mimizes my screen and seizes up. After a minute or two everything comes back up and is fine for another couple hours then it does it again. Black screens sometimes too then comes back. When I go into event viewer the pictures I added show you what it says. NVIDIA customer support has had me do a fresh install of drivers which I have done 3 times now so it's not that, I am frustrated because it happens during dungeons and shit and I die because of it and its just in general annoying because I never know when it's gonna happen.

and yeah, wouldn't surprise me... then again AMD/GeForce have just as many issues at times. we had a driver batch that was literally pushing thermals for about 2 weeks up about 5c and no appreciable reason

Problem is I'm currently level 60 (which is a breeze to kill any mobs), and there is no ! marks on NPCs head that I could keep up what to do after I started the The Hand of Fate questline. Now I'm a bit lost at where I am with the questline atm, and not sure if I took the right quests up until now.

Depends on how expensive the WoW token is in your area.
For a regular player, 230k is unachievable. For an elitist, it's the equivalent of a quest reward.

Cool cheap mount? Try farming for Lorewalker reputation, you only need to look for scrolls in Pandaria and sit through RP with Lorewalker Cho. And at the end of it you get a flying disc that sits on a cloud.

Yes, but again, don't waste it on useless materials you can get by just mining for a few hours.
You even get a bonus to your Vigor gain if you mine. There is a Dragonriding talent.
Don't buy things you can achieve with a time investment.

If you happen to miss materials, I guess go for it. But you shouldn't throw gold at things that won't help you in the long term.

Out of all Wrath raid bosses, I believe Yogg-Saron will give you the most trouble.
It's basically a fight in which if your sanity goes too low, it's a wipe and you have to restart. You can't even look at the boss for too long.
Shouldn't be a problem with the amount of damage you can do, but I've still seen people wipe because they looked at the boss or didn't kill his brain in time.

Shift + W for ground mount

That sounds confusing. I just favorited a dragonriding mount, a flying mount, an aquatic mount, and a ground mount, then use H to summon a random favorite mount. It'll automatically prioritize them based on zone and access

It allows me to use whatever mount I deem favorable at any moment rather than letting RNG decide it. I have too many favorite mounts only set as that so they are at the top of my list.

What level are you currently, and what item level do you have? Most of the time it's due to bad gear, or performance can feel lacking as you might not have unlocked some core abilities yet

Find a repair vendor. You must have taken Resurrection Sickness for a weapon to break at such an early level.
Next time you die, don't release at the Spirit Healer. Go find your corpse.

staying alive is probably whatever one feels comfiest to you as you'll play better, on paper upcoming changes make it look like Outlaw took a little hit due to some changes / subtlety gets a slight boost / assassin gets major Single Target help and also a bit of cleave boost through Shiv going to 5 targets and having a damage boost built in
end of the day you're gonna need to be top percentiles for it to really really matter outside of PvP which has its own criteria anyway, and a PvP player would be better commenting on that since I don't any more

If youre not using Chromie time, the default will be BfA

BFA is the default 10-60 content. Shadowlands and other expansions requires being in Chromie Time for queuing for their content--and you're removed from Chromie Time at level 60
If you want to do those other dungeons with a group at that level, you'll have to join or create a custom group and enter the dungeon yourself

Keep in mind that the dungeon quests for the allied race recruitment questlines can be skipped too--just talk to the NPC who gives you the quest for a dialog option to skip

It's because the War Campaign is tracked by separate achievements for each faction. Completing both is actually its own achievement in and of itself-- [Two Sides to Every Tale] --which grants you a unique Horde horse and Alliance wolf mounts

Likely an oversight. The two campaigns are different for each faction
You can do the specific race campaigns--such as the Mechagon requirements on Horde or Vulpera requirements on Alliance--but the War Campaign and Tides of Vengeance are different for Horde and Alliance
