Can someone explain to me how the cooldown for transmutations with that cooldown reduction talent works?
It used to be a 24 hour cooldown. Not it says 16 hours but then I get a random charge, then 9 hours after I use it, I spend like 30 min doing something else and when I come back I can do 3 transmutations now. I don't get it.

It wasn't an issue because you played through legion on at least 1 character, which means that you're friendly with all broken isles factions, so when you go to khadgar he immediately unlocks you world quests on alts

Well since disenchanting is a part of enchanting, disenchanting would also level enchanting up. It also depends on that rarity armor you disenchant. The higher the rarity the better ingredients and I think profession xp you get

feral can feel that way if your not using healing spells and defensive things
if your finding those levels a but squish. switch to bear for a bit or try different talents. maybe lool for ones that help reduce damage or heal easier/quicker
part of any druids kits are thr other forms. go bear. frenzie regen and toss out a thrash while it heals. switch back

You should get footholds at 35 and 40, unless that changed with the Dragonflight pre-patch.
In any case, you should level to 60 in Zandalar.

Hey there, so I’m a new player who hasn’t purchased Dragonflight yet. I’m hoping to have at least 2-3 characters hit level 60 so that I can get a feel for the different classes. However, I have just hit 60 with my first character and have a few questions:
Is it worth completing the BFA dungeons and World bosses for gear before I get dragon flight? Or should I only focus on it at level 70? And if so, is there a recommended ilvl to do the dragon isles on?
I would like to collect gear appearances , some from older dungeons, but my dungeon finder is only showing BFA dungeons. I’ve seen people mention chromie but she’s not allowing my level 60 character to access the other timelines.
Despite not being able to level past 60, will it be worth to use my current character to say, unlock allied races ?

Level 60s cannot do Chromie time. If you want to farm appearances, you have to manually walk to the dungeons.

I kept Elvui since I needed way more visual customisation than some folk, after that the usual suspects like DBM/Details/some AH stuff and to be honest not much more apart from BTWQuests to help my squirrel brain and Alotholic. after that pretty much everything else is purely cosmetic stuff like masque
you probably also won't need BT4 if you run elvui now, a lot of the functionality is in elvui now. if you heal though you're probably still going to want the usual suspects like vuhdo/clique etc if you're used to what they supply
my advice is start with none ( or at most Elvui if you have a set layout you're used to or any visual needs to meet ) and add as needed, there's a lot of QoL been folded into stock UI but some stuff just isn't there yet or that barebones it's not fit for most serious users

If you decide to craft a piece of gear that comes with an Embellishment already attached, it will automatically be applied. You will not have the option to add, remove, or modify it, even during Recrafting.

you can not automate any processes that aren't automatic, so multiple times will not work.
but you can just open the macro and shift+click the spell that does what you want and then you have a macro that does that. unless you have to be at a crafting station to do so, then it might not work at all.

What's the purpose of a quest path guide? If it's just leveling, you only really need one for speed leveling. If it's for story, then that's tricky (but something like that SHOULD exist, but probably doesn't)

The newer expansions are much easier to go through story and level than older ones. I have filled up my quest log a few times in DF though. Too many side quests. 😄

It's healing help if you find yourself in need. Otherwise there is nothing too special about this encounter aside from not being a pushover. Destroy totems asap, avoid all other harmful things, etc.

I feel like more of a tank on my warrior, but on pally I feel like in ret I can do a lot more dmg. Plus if I get bored I have the choice of going healer

Pally is more utility for sure. Build wise, warriors are capable of more dps in both PvP and PvE
If you're solo more often than not, pally is the way.

for some reason i cant complete the quest as an Evoker. relogged several times and abandoned the quest several times. the NPC Andante doesnt appear to restore my person timeline, there is no dialog after being teleported. i lose control of WASD and my curser dissapears, all i can do is relog then abandon quest.
Anyone else experience this? how did you fix it?

well it really depends on what you want then since the only other range dps types are all casters. Do you want to use the elements of lightning, earth, and fire? go with shaman. Do you wanna use ice, fire, and arcane magic? go with mage. It really just depends on what you like and what you find the coolest

where are you getting quests that you are pulling 6 mobs at once? cause as a caster/dps you'll rarely want to fight more than 1 or 2 at a time when leveling unless you have something to tank it for it

Specifically? In The Azure Span where you do a bunch of quests for a guy swimming in a lake. Lots and lots of fighting gnolls. It’s amazing xp and has helped all of my other characters to 70 so far but I imagine if I try soloing mage or others like it there they’ll die so much

Unfortunately in many circumstances the parents might sacrifice the child's best interest in order to have additional household income. That's why they're only a part of the process. School, Parent, Job... all have to agree.

Hello. I've been getting a lot of frame drops in dragonflight. Mainly the hubs and obsidian area. I have a 3080ti, 5950x... most of the graphics settings are set to high but should I really be maxing out at 110 fps and dropping to 45 in these areas with my specs? I'd like to solve this without jeopardizing the fidelity I should have with my rig
I'm not sure if there are a few settings that are greatly decreasing performance that I can turn off. I just kept most of them default when I started playing a few days ago

Some gear has agility, strength and intellect stats
So that gear would automatically swap to the good stat for that spec
As a general rule, leather and energy-like users use agility
Plate all use strength

Chat UI question. I've not regularly played wow in over a year. This is a basic question, but with the new UI updates I'm not sure. Can you still change the shape of the chat box? Seems like it doesn't have that option anymore. Also, can you toggle hide chat? I know mine does go invis if it's inactive for a while. Thanks in advance! New exp is looking great.

You can resize the chat box. It may be locked. You may unlock it by right-clicking on the main tab. (This functionally has existed since the beginning and was not moved to edit mode)
I'm unsure of what you're looking for exactly for the chat toggle. Are you asking if it can be hidden by a keybind rather than just waiting?

And yes as far as I know there is no keybind to toggle chat visibility by default. But you had the right idea to use a different tab. You can also control what you want to segregate too instead, since a lot of chat messages could be important
