one upgrade is for weapons, other is for armour/trinkets/rings

if you have the right item then open heirloom page, open bags, right click upgrade item then click on heirloom to be upgraded
gimme 2 secs to log in and I'll show you the right items for heirlooms that are at 0/5 upgrades
those are the items for 0/5 > 1/5 upgrade
if it lists as 0/3 upgrades and says it works to level 39 then you need to start at the third upgrade.
also unless you have plenty of gold don't bother with them, they don't have xp bonuses any more

which is fine, but it's about 20k gold or so for each piece to get it to work to level 60. which is why unless you have lots of gold it's not really worth it due to how much green/blue gear the quests throw at you since you'll not use the looms at max level either

if you wait for DF to launch from what folk have said you'll then get Shadowlands in the sub and just need to grab DF to be at the then new current level cap and content

if you're not desperate to play the Retail ( more QoL and better addons imo ) then wait for DF launch, if you want to just play something for now then basic sub will get you classic/wotlk access
this is what the sub covers, for retail the only difference is you need to buy iirc the current xpac to get access to it while it's the "most recent expansion" for being able to level the last but one expansion level cap and for doing the current content

I wonder if it's only me that can't hear the <Stay Awhile and Listen> stories anymore? Regardless of who I speak to, I only get the last sentence from the story they are telling. They just stand and look at eachother before that. I have disabled all addons but nothing changed, I still don't have any story told. Is it a known bug or is it something else? It is the Shadowlands ones I want to hear but can't. Haven't tried those from BfA.

Dracthyr are currently only playable in the beta. If you're not in the beta, you can't play them until they are added to the live game, which will likely be a month before Dragonflight releases.
They're likely coming to the game in under three weeks, though an exact date is yet to be confirmed by Blizzard.

And, hey, if you have a sub, you can always try out retail, too, which has a tutorial-island starter zone for new players (granted, modern wow's class and questing structure and philosophy is significantly different from wotlk's. i'm obviously biased, so take my opinion with a massive heaping of salt, but I find modern wow a lot better for easing in new players, it's way more casual-friendly)

That's a good question. I'd say level 15 or 20 at the most. If you're still not having fun with it, try something else. By then you'd have an idea of what the class is like. (Or you could just play a warlock, the best class ever.)

Try hunter. They are fun and quite easy to start with. They are a ranged class. Guns, crossbows, or bows are their weapons of choice. You get to collect tons of cool animals. If you are decent and have a good pet, you can easily do some dungeons by yourself, obviously not the newer content though.

Did blizzard ever fix the bloodmyst isle achievements for completing all quests? I looked up some of the quests online (thank god before i finished questing there) and it says for the very last quest you have to be a draenei otherwhise velen will not give you that quest. for me the game has been a mostly solo experience since legion but of course raiding and m+ forces you to play with others and its not that hard to find people for that via the group finder i've been in contact with a few communities/guilds where i can jump in for that content or i join pugs. thats my multiplayer experience in wow

about the keystone it is clear now because I received keystone in mythic dungeon Spires of Ascension and thought that this keystone must be used here (because I do not check name of dungeon 🙄 . So it means I received keystone for completely different location (that's why I do not find place to input keystone in Spirec of Ascension 🙂

@still laurel it's because some people don't realise that you can turn off the "taunt" some pets have and screw with tank aggro. like to the point that there were and may still be addons to check whether growl was active in raids and also announce both pet taunts and ninja ( non- tank pulls/taunts )

I've seen locks/hoonters kicked from dungeons for refusing to swap to a non-taunt pet or take off growl, not like it's hard to get another DPS in a random queue

pets are fine... growl/Voidwalker if lock is what is bad
and not so much recommended as mandatory to disable growl to the point game does it automatically in retail as it really does screw with tank threat handling because you will end up peeling something from them and they may not have a spare taunt up to regain it

the comments state multiple times to do both the Chen and Li questline plus Thunderfoot Valley part of "Rally the Valley"
I'm guessing one or both of those hasn't been done
until you do Rally the Valley > Thunderfoot you have the issue that Chen and Li won't phase in at the start of the next zone for you to pick up the questline that leads to Leaders among Breeders

If you don't have Shadowlands you can play till 50.
ATM you'd need to buy Shadowlands AND Dragonflight, I'd advise to wait though cause as soon as patch 10.0 hits Shadowlands will be baseline and you only need to buy Dragonflight
