hey so i've been trying to do quests in BFA and Shadowlands and literally every time i take certain quests in BFA they break and NPCs don't talk, with text or verbally, and i'm stuck in Shadowlands trying to talk to Tal-inara because she won't say anything at all and the quest just locks up

At 80 renown there's an NPC in Oribos next to the flight master that sells various catchup-items, one of them being one you can use to exchange anima. Buy that before swapping until you can't buy any more, then use it after joining your new covenant to deposit the anima back into your new reservoir

You need to get the seasonal vicious mount from rated pvp then saddles are able to be progressed

If u look at your rated arena window you can see a small icon and a % bar for the vicious warstalker I believe it’s called, win enough to get it and you basically do the exact same thing just you get vicious saddles after

I would say you best bet is to just start clean, learn the current state of the game and what the default UI and systems provide, and then get addons as deemed necessary from curseforge or wowup (reminder that curseforge-hosted apps are not available on other addon platforms)

More often than not, many older addons become defunct due to now being current features

All race, class, and spec combinations are viable for all forms of content and if you have to ask you're not playing the content where it matters and would just know. Modern game philosophy is that a good player on a bad character will always outperform a bad player on a good character, so play what you enjoy and will dedicate the most time and effort to being the best at

Even MDI and world first players frequently go "off meta" so it really doesn't matter. The meta is too subjective, situational, and circumstantial to really be a big deal

In general, you want to always be wearing mail as a warrior up until level 40, then you switch to plate. That way you'll (usually?) get the right stat for your class. (I guess you have to watch out for stuff that has int on it, because that's for ret/holy paladins? This is where my TBC knowledge gets too fuzzy)

If you wanna get gear with pvp, do random battlegrounds or random epic battlegrounds until you get enough honor to buy Eternal aspirant gear. afterwards, you can grind conquest (takes a lot more time to get than honor) to get Eternal gladiators gear. if you wanna continue with pvp. try to join a rated pvp group. i cant tell you anything about rated pvp because i dont do rated pvp. you can upgrade the pvp gear with honor but the conquest gear requires you to do rated pvp.

Depends on your faction, horde has a dungeon at level 13, in return, alliance gets deadmines with really powerful gear. some of it is considered twink gear.

tbc will transition over to wotlk so everything you do on TBC Realms will stay. new realm are being rolled out tho. 2 PVP Realms and i THINK 2 PVE Realms have also been announced. one for US/EU each. those will obviously be fresh so players can have a "start from scratch" experience if they want

Hey, so I got into Threads of Fate and got into the wrong covenant. I started the first covenant quest and it's at 80% (Aid the Necrolords).
Can I somehow abandon it and take the correct covenant, so I don't level the wrong one until I finish campaign for it?

As far as I understand it, you'll have to aid all the different Covenants as part of Threads of Fate. The quests have no relation to your Covenant, and you should be able to change it easily in Oribos.

Thank you. So just to make sure I understand this right, I can change covenant, abandon the current Campaign quest, then take it again (from the right covenant this time) and continue campaign without any issues.

You shouldn't need to abandon any quest or lose any progress, as far as I'm aware. I think the (first) Covenant choice just decides which of the areas you choose first.

So I'd simply start by going to Oribos, and go to the area where you picked your Covenant originally (Southern part of "The Enclave"), and choose another. That'll likely be all there is to it.

Soulbinds (as thus Conduits) are bound to your spec, as it's rather unlikely that you'd want exactly the same for more than one spec. Just update your spec when you're next to the Soulbind-thingie, and it should be remembered the next time you switch back and forth.

you should check out your classes discord as its filled with all the information you could want regarding the spec/class
and ye just doing raids and dungeons will help practice and learn the spec aswell
you can start with looking for raid/heroic dungeons for extra gear and can progress onto mythic dungeons/m+ and normal>heroic raiding etc once youve gotten the gear

although Mythic plus this season is mostly made up of old dungeons that you wouldnt have experienced in shadowlands besides tazavesh

also as someone else said one thing most newer Healers can do is actually queue as DPS ( either on another toon or as say Shadow ) to learn where the big "spikes" come and also how smoothly certain classes self heal ( if that's still the case )

You must first reach Renown 44 and complete the Covenant campaign. Then, you must complete 4 chapters of the Chains of Domination campaign (up to "The Last Sigil"). Then, you will receive Memories of Sunless Skies Icon Memories of Sunless Skies and unlock account-wide flying in the Shadowlands zones. With that skill you can fly in Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth.

Then theres an additional av for flying in zereth mortis
