You can't miss it, there are a bunch of undead NPCs dancing.

Every hour on the half hour, Blight Boar plays and you fight the Death Metal Knight, but there's a character reset, so you can't farm the mace on the same toon over and over.

I've been farming it for seven years.

I agree with @jolly berry. The main thing that will help you, is to just keep at it. Narcissus has a lot of hidden things to find, from ground shadows, spell effects, lighting adjustments, speech bubbles, etc.

I even have some archived walkthroughs on my Twitch. Not super recent, but still covers some of the stuff that I do.
