They randomly spawn, so it helps to path around where they can spawn and nab them when you see them.

@stark basin Do you have room in your backpack? Also, are the specific items that are dropping what are needed for the quest? If you do not have auto-loot set, you, also, need to loot each item that a mob drops.
@maiden river a couple million-ish folks seem to think so, but that is subjective. For 15USD for 30 days, you can give it a shot and see if it is worth it to you.

Your best bet is to play with the default UI and as you encounter issues or times where you think 'this could be better' to then look for some on wowinterface and/or curseforge . The 'most popular' categories on the sites will give you some solid ideas, as well.

From what Swifty says, you can only take 5 people into a AV as a "premade". They don't even allow the mass queue and get into the same instance anymore.

Mobs are stronger in classic (asking for help is a good idea), no group finder (gotta use trade chat or lfg chat), you buy your spells and abilities (cata was the last expansion to do so), attunements are a thing in classic
And basic mounts are lvl 40 (rather than 20) at a cost of 100g (10 for the mount and 80 for the skill), epic mounts are lvl 60 (rather than 40) and cost 1k gold. Theres separate riding skills based on race: horse riding for humans, tiger riding for night elves, wolf riding for orcs, kodo riding for tauren). Mounts dismount in water.

There is a weird potential bug or my friends and I missed something ... but I can't find any information on this elsewhere. Three of us were running Horrific Visions. No orbs left. Completed Valley of Spirits and The Drag. No one had self res as a talent. We're fighting Thrall. Everyone runs out of sanity but me and I have already used my free res. I have 3 sanity left and decide screw it, we're not going to down 25% anyway and try to res my friend. Instead, I am boosted to full Sanity. I res my one ally for 50% of my sanity and we down Thrall. Is there a buff for doing the bonus objectives that we missed? Or ... is this a bug? Albeit, a beneficial and lucky one?

Not sure. You are talking about quest text? I think that there is something that speeds it up and addon or some setting. I think that it was part of the immersion though, that Blizzard put in to start out with.

On PVP, people consider things as much as camping to be universal fair game.

In Retail, it became fairly easy to solo mobs 4 levels higher than you. In Classic, doing the same is basically a death wish whilst levelling.

This happens to incendius every night due to the mass coordinated transfers from skeram, stalagg, thalnos and faerlina to incendius. The transfers won't stop, it's increasing the nightly queue time every single night.

So it's technically not true that it will happen. It was only a survey option.

back in january it was stated that wowhead updates the drop rates on the site with fresh data from people that use the wowhead client. On Ebonroc for instance there are around 2100 loot logs parsed. If we look at Ragnaros there are only 51 loot logs. Might there be a problem with Rags data?

You should be visiting your class trainer occasionally
They teach you new abilities and upgrade old ones
And as for gear - you should be getting some new ones as you level
from quests and loot etc

The healthbar under the character looks like the blizzard one. It is in the settings, I think it is called personal health bar. The one above the enemy could be threat plates, but I have heard of another (can't remember the name) that can do similar things and has more features.

I don't know if that is a setting in classic or not for the UI, but I think they added some of these things as they don't really change gameplay and only add features.

Biggest thing that I can tell you about leveling in Classic, don't treat the leveling process like you would the leveling process in current content. Your character power increases over time and unless you are very intimate with your class, you will die a lot if you treat it like you level in current. In current you are basically OP compared to the mobs out and about. Whereas in classic, you will only be OP when you out level the mobs around you, but that slows down your exp gains. So you have to balance how much you pull and how high of a level the mobs you pull are so you don't get instantly killed.

Not sure, but I am guessing yes. The philosophy was for that time, if you chose a faction on a pvp server, you couldn't want the other faction too. But that is an RP server and rules seem different there.

@spice bronze so basically. it doesnt matter that much. the most important factor is the type of the realm you want to be on. in classic wow there are 3 types. PvE PvP and RP. in first one you cant really kill players from opposite faction in open world. in the 2nd one you can do that and I'd actually suggest you to play that if you want to experience the game properly.
RP also has two sub branches which are basically like the first two but they have RP elements meaning that theres a heavy role playing community in them.
If you dont have friends playing this game, just pick a high populated realm.

the problem with these old expansion servers is that things you do there do not last. In a game like WoW where you spend few hours of your life to achieve a certain item, mount or achievment. It would really piss you off if you realize that its not going to stick forever.
Blizzard should definitly allow people to transfer items, mounts, achievments from lets say classic/tbc or whatever account to the retail

Hey guys I played Burning Crusade when I was like 14 or something. I just recently built a PC and a buddy of mine has talked me into playing again. In MMORPGs I enjoy playing as healer...he is horde...now I know there are “3-4types Og classes” when it comes down to who can heal...my question is which class is the “best” at healing and nothing else. I don’t give two craps about DPS. I just want those easy queues and to be the most beneficial to the party ...
