Either one will do well to level efficiently solo or with others (just remember to turn off taunts in dungeons). More a matter of taste. Hunter pets are a bit more varied; it can be fun to track down a rare with an added ability or so. Both get smacked around on storage.

depends on what you mean by that. both are very easy to pick up and are somewhat difficult to master/play well

havent touched classic but I remember from back in the day having to use one bag slot for bullets or arrows for hunters and hunter pet happiness upkeep being a pain. Didn't play warlock enough back then but i believe soul shards took up multiple bag slots and dissapeared on logout. So in terms of general upkeep...maybe hunter

@shrewd steeple entirely possible. In terms of xp, 44 is the half way point. I have friends who are also in a situation like yours with a new born and a 6 year old daughter who plays after they are asleep with one ear open to see if they wake up.
Your levelling will be questing so it's easy to quickly stop and come back to it. In the later levels you may want to run dungeons which is where you will need 1-2 hours of undisturbed time which may be hard but the alternative is just grinding mobs.
Also what class are you? That will play a factor into it.

The biggest problem with Classic is that the loot makes people really mad. Like even our guild has three MC groups weekly, and we still need to raid it even when BWL comes out, but people are losing their minds if they don't get the loot they want within few weeks.

but the great thing about Classic is that alts can't just skip straight to aq40/naxx, or even BWL, they'll need to progress their gear accordingly, and THAT is what retail WoW is really missing
the lack of catch-up mechanics is what makes this game great
even in TBC, I remember once we cleared BT we started doing alt runs of SSC/TK, we had almost the same group of alts & pugs that did that content every week, then moved on to Hyjal/BT and cleared all that, and we cleared 2/6 Sunwell as an alt/pug raid. Nowadays you just do the current tier and thats it

Hello Wowhead staff. Please help us and promote this issue. Blizzard is not reacting or responding since a week. On Firemaw-EU every evening we have huge chat delay. It starts at 19:00 server time with ~5 seconds delay. Then it quickly goes up to 10 minutes. The highest i measured this evening was 16 minutes. That means say/guild/general/worldchat/bossemotes/bossmods/threatmeters are all not working.
Its been like this since 1 week and blizzard did not even mention this.
If you could put up a news on the frontpage im sure blizzard would start reacting.
We cant ask a mage for a portal (15 minutes delay), water, food. We cant form groups for dungeons or anything because of this crap and it has been like this for 1 week.

Hello wowhead classic, i have an urgent request / question
im playing wow classic on eu-firemaw horde side
it has come to my attention there are many players standing infront of AV-battlemasters casting the same spell/sequence at fixed intervalls. for example bloodrage every 60 seconds, or bloodrage every 90 seconds
these players also join AV battles and keep doing these cast-intervalls every XX seconds
to sum this up: they are honor botting while sleeping. they join the AVs and gain the 2000-3000 bonus honor from the marshalls/balinda and the win/lose
ive spottet 4 players so far, one of them is standing 82 on our server with 430.000 honor this week (which is bracket 12 on firemaw, poolsize is 7000)
you can spot these players yourself by joining firemaw horde side (EU) and walk to the 4 different AV battlemasters: undercity, orgrimmar, thunder bluff and the alterac valley cave
you will quickly spot players that run a castsequence right infront of the battlemasters + they join AV. they do this for hours without actually playing the gam
it seems like the classic honor system has been undermined by now. ive been grinding my honor solo and all night - only to realize ive been doubled or trippled by bots
does blizzard know about this? is there punishment happening?
will they reset the honor of these players or de-rank them. will account bans happen?

You, and anyone else witnessing this behavior, should report them; I couldn't say if Blizzard knows about this particular case or what punishments may/not happen, but typically botting does result in removal of ill gotten gains and suspensions/bans

kind of apples and oranges there - one is a website issue, the other is a game issue; the two aren't handled by the same people, and someone being unable to post on forums is a much lower priority than people honor botting (also from the sound of it they did suggest a solution in installing BfA, you just haven't done it)
Regardless, while I appreciate your fervor, like the last issue you brought up demanding we cover, it's not really within our purview - Wowhead is for game and company related news, not inciting outrage or petitioning Blizzard to fix things faster.
While your issue certainly isn't unimportant, it has nothing to do with Wowhead; the fact that there are honor bots isn't new, it doesn't give readers any useful information, and (perhaps contrary to popular belief) it won't make Blizzard ban people any faster

That kind of automation allowing them to do things without actually issuing the commands themselves would be considered botting yes, but the specifics aren't really important to you or I - Blizzard has internal tools with which to better determine that
Which is why I say again, it's not something good for Wowhead to cover (because we don't know the specifics, just the belief that they're using some kind of automation to gain an advantage), and that you should just report them to Blizzard directly using the normal in-game tool

Although current population is slightly different, this is a good starting point. Pick one that has a decent balance of Horde and Alliance and go from there. It is really subjective about 'good' or 'best' so try one or two and see if you find a guild or others you enjoy playing with.

They could offer free transfers, but... with the introduction of paid transfers and the inability to know if they plan to allow free transfers to or from your server, you may have to do a paid move if they do not introduce something soon.

Settings you could copy from one to the other but you will need an AddOn to see bank/bag contents from one toon to the next. Bagnon does that and there are others, like Altoholic
Oh... you said account. If you mean a completely different subscription, you could copy the settings from one to the other fairly easily but not sure of any AddOn that allows you to see across different accounts for inventory and the like.

@tame charm Up to you. Retail is wow as it currently is, with content updates. Classic is wow as it was in 2005
I would recommend you do a fair bit of reading on the differences. Do not be told one is just 'better' than the other

The only way to meet new friends is get to max level and join a community or guild. I've met so many new friends leveling up my main and more so on classic
I never see anyone in the world when I'm leveling a vulpera. Its super lonely
Also anyone know if the felwood cursed oozes drop the pet? I checked wowhead and it says the it comes in the bag. I've been farming these mobs for days and no drop.

@maiden river It's really personal. Leveling in Battle for Azeroth is easier, game pace is faster, you don't need to communicate that much to get things done, there are lots of things to do (old content, new content, achieves, etc.). On the other hand classic needs more communication, leveling takes more time and it's relatively harder, you need groups to do certain quests, and you need to be social in order to do dungeons and raids, there is the classic grind and less content to do.
