The site and its content is our property, using it on their site without permission is definitely illegal. We forward these things off to our legal department and they decide if it's something they can pursue or not. It's just out of our hands really.

Yes, unfortunately we're aware.
We're fixing little things that are happening and when doing that it briefly brings the site down. However, it's staying down longer than expected. It should be back now with a refresh, but expect some slow loading right now. A lot of server cache things (that makes sites faster) require time to replenish themselves.

When trying to upload, I selcet file, press upload but I am not taken to the usual page where you can crop or add comments.
The selected file is removed from the field, and it just seems like pressing submit refreshes the page.

I just tested adding it to a test server and it added properly. Note that once you add it, you won't see anything happen until a new News post is posted to the site. It'll post within ~5 minutes of that going live.

RR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR' is an error in the Chrome browser which can appear for some different reasons, please try the solutions below.
- Restarting your browser
When you face this error, you can close your chrome browser and start it again. It should fix ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR. While this is a simple fix, it is the quickest way to solve this error.
- Make sure your Chrome browser is up to date
You can easily update your Chrome browser via the settings menu on the upper right of your browser window, and selecting "About Chrome".
- Use Chromeโs Incognito Mode
If you face ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR for any specific website, you can try to access that website in incognito mode.

- Flushing DNS and Renewing IP
Flushing DNS and Renewing IP can solve ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR sometimes.
To flush DNS:
Open Command Prompt.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
To Renew IP:
Open Command Prompt.
Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
Again type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
Note: You may need to also configure your internet connection.
- Flushing SPDY Sockets
To flush SPDY sockets:
Go to chrome://net-internals/#events&q=type:SPDY_SESSION%20is:active from your chrome browser.
Then click on the arrow of the top right corner.
From the drop-down menu select Flush Sockets.

Ah, @proud elbow - that is a guide created by a user, such as yourself, who opted to use images from their Photobucket account. Photobucket recently changed their policies to not allow third parties to display their images without paying (some ~$600/year). As such, the author will need to come back and edit their guide.

Site Update: Users should now be able to change their own email address, submit a password reset request, and a username recovery again as they were able to previously. These were the last major issues that were subsequent to the data center migration downtime. Thank you for your patience while we got that taken care of!

Something on your end is preventing access to parts of the site. It's definitely isolated. What else are you running?
I'd recommend you try running a completely clean browser, no extensions/addons/plugins, no protections beyond Windows Defender and see what happens. If it still doesn't work it could be with your ISP or the CDN.

In the <a> element there's a javascript function call with a displayId set. Looking at Ariok, that displayId matches your model id.

What I am wondering is quite different. I can find no other mention of the number 63466 when associated with the npcid 92947. If i can find a way to pull this info from blizzard api, I would be able to populate what I am wanting to without having to manually grab that number from wowhead. The main information I guess I am wondering is where the number 63466 came from so I can duplicate a way to grab that number. I can get my addon to show a model, but it isnt from using that number. Having that number allows me to show the model and show a seperate Icon as well. The issue I am having is the amount of time it takes to gather 83466. Sorry not the easiest thing to explain, hopefully someone can follow.

yeah the main coder on the addon worked on it forever last night but was unable to pull the number we needed from api
he was able to get a model to attach for the tooltip, but unable to do what we had previously been doing with the different number and use that model to create an icon for the main interface.

@dull marsh You may be experiencing some bad ads. Please click 'Feedback' and "Bad Advertisment" when you encounter this behavior. We'll look into which are causing an issue and look to have the ad networks remove them. In the meantime, when a page begins to slow, a simple refresh will usually resolve the issue. Alternatively, if you need to stay on a page for awhile (like a guide or news post) you can click the tiny vertical bar on the upper right edge of the site to temporarily close ads until you navigate away or refresh the page. We do apologize for any inconvenience experienced as a result of this behavior.

Might make more sense to ask here. As I am taking a look around the PTR , I like to post some scenic screenshots in the PTR channel. I also like exploring. In the new raid, many areas have invisible walls around them, some can be jumped over. There is a lot of interesting scenery out there aswell. Does the discord have a rule against screenshots of areas that could be considdered out of bounds? Or would it be acceptable, on at least the PTR channel as the area is WIP?
As an example, while running along the correct path, one can observe battles between the forces of the Army of Light, and the demons of the Burning Legion. Without too much trouble it is possible to get down there to take a better look, although the area is "out of bounds" so to speak.

If you can get to it via normal means that's fine, if it's in an open area. If someone were to like - post pictures of the raid before testing opened, that would be less fine (we're aware some people do it and it periodically pops up on reddit, but as an official fansite we don't want to create that sort of coverage ourselves and encourage it)

Alright! The raid can be accessed on the PTR via Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade Sr. found in Dalaran and other capitals, so it should be fine then ๐
A lot of the areas do not yet have mobs, so you can really get a nice view at the scenery, if you sneak past the first areas

I just need a general explanation of skill usage in pvp scenario. Haven't found anything like that.
And I've looked through multiple sites. And even if I find one. It's usually outdated by a few tens of patches...
I somehow deal with it using addons. But I find that they make mistakes quite a lot. But either I'm that dumb or Blizzard doesn't know how to describe the skills right. I just can't get the skill usage right sometimes and it ends with me dying. Maybe it's because I've been playing only for a few weeks.

I've tried that. But it's based on a completely geared character. And although they write down rotations and talents. Those don't work in a pve to pvp scenario + no basic explanation of the skills. Since my pvp usually consists of fighting back the goddamn backstabbing mages and jumping warriors when I'm doing pve content.
And what's more I can write the same goddamn thing from just reading the skill and talent description. But it just doesn't work for me. Because they have no real basis. All of it is just battleground data...
That's why I feel it just doesn't work.
It's not like I can switch my talent build in a middle of a fight...

larger screenshots = quests/zones (without that much of cropping) still got some issues when it comes to size but i found good alternative for it thx to CalaelenDT for now.
for zones size goes to around 7-9MB with JPG or so when using screenshots of wow itself. PNG pictures are out of question when it comes to uncropped 4k pics atm

Having trouble uploading wowhead client data (760Kb from last week's play) again. Is this a site problem or a client problem or a file size problem? (I had to reset saved variables about 2 weeks ago due to large file size & have uploaded once or twice OK since then).

I'm planning on updating the wowpedia page for random items suffixes. Is there a way on wowhead to search for items based on suffixes? My starting point will be updating removed stats to their current. As an example Spirit was removed in 7.0.3 and in many cases replaced by versatility, but also, as I understand, mastery in some cases. @stoic carbon ensembles are not equippable items, the dressing room doesn't support users selecting an ensemble and then having the gear pop up. As far as transmogs, it's all manual work and we haven't gotten around to it yet. Hopefully in the next month or so we'll find the time. ๐

@winged trellis All I can hypothesis here is that your internet bandwidth is getting bogged down. Try closing out of the page if you experience issues and/or closing the ads by clicking the little gray button on the upper right edge of the site if you plan to sit on a page for awhile. This may help the behavior you describe.

when wowhead show off ensembles in news posts, Perc and the team are usually cool enough to link a dressing room version, however in the dressing room, you can search for the ensemble name for each piece and usually find them, if you can't @stoic carbon, ask one of us in #transmog and sure we can help ๐

It's redundant when it's the same info, I don't disagree, I added it as part of Jeeves integration with this server, but I may remove it, or give it it's own channel where we could monitor other important WoW Twitter accounts.

Re tweets: yeah it seems redundant for news ATM. Maybe should just enable it during PTR when we do more tweets than posts

Btw, when I mark a comment as out of date, this is all it shows. Inspecting the content shows something along the lines of "Comment added to the out of date queue.", but most people probably don't know to do that ๐. Monitor resolution is 1600x900 when the comment was marked, moving the window to a 1920x1080 monitor doesn't fix the display.

yeah, it's an unfortunate byproduct of the fixed side bar that we've not gotten around to resolving. But you're right, that's what it's saying. Sorry for any trouble caused. I'm sure we'll polish that kind of thing up some day.

It's difficult for us to justify adding things that require multiple steps on the user's end to track. That turns off many players, as we saw with the wardrobe tool - people got fed up, or messed up some of the steps, and thought the tool didn't work. We can request Blizzard add an API so we can track it easily though

Hey Sas, on Wowhead, do I still have premium? For some reason it's showing me I don't but ads aren't showing... So I'm kinda lost lol just want to see if it's just me or if I indeed lost premium for some odd reason
I did try the update but when I post it's not showing the different color or the premium tag
